Re: Cloudhashing ASIC mining contracts, UK LTD company - Now Mining & Paying Bitcoin
by

I just received the same offer. Back when I bought the contract (May 2014), 10 large for 2.2 Th/s for 1 year, it was performing nicely until August or so. received about 7 btc in 4 months, which would of been fine, had the payouts remained the same, or the price of bitcoin stayed above 500. The main thing was that Abiodun had promised an increase to 8+ Ph/s by December. Instead it DROPPED from 4.4 Ph/s when I bought the contract to where it is now- 1.7 Ph/s.
Good thing is I live in Austin, TX, where I went to Cloudhashing's physical office to purchase my contract. I will be going to pay them a visit today or tomorrow.

Finally- a wallet that will sync (for me, anyway)! Thanks, team- this is fantastic. I had given up- I mean, I would leave previous wallets open for 5 days, and not even manage 1 connection, let alone sync- and my connection is always 100+Mbps. This morning I opened the Beta, and within 2 minutes I have 5 connections and 65% caught up. Win 7.
Thanks again!

Dear Community,

Testnet is looking really good.  Some GUI changes to be made, adding the required button for SwiftBackup and fixing an address book problem.  Stealth Addresses and SwiftExist are working 100% with no problems on test net.

We have registered bitswift.io  - this is where the Swift Services will be located in future (Backup and... a bunch of other stuff I can not comment on right now Wink .

Bitswift.co will be used more or less for general company info and "what we do" type stuff.

I am working on a new timeline / roadmap... things have changed a little, for the better, and so we need to ensure everyone knows where we are flying this ship.

The OP has been updated with some new glitter.

Enjoy !

-BitSwift

Very exciting news! I couldn't agree with you more about the staking. Put those coins away & help secure the network boys & girls, your mother would be proud  Grin

This coin has some serious potential, don't cut yourself short by selling at this price. The sky is the limit here. Don't believe me? Take a look at some of the threads of other legitimate coins, like Fibre for example. Scattered throughout are tales of woe of people who either underestimated the coins potential or played right into the hands of pumps and sold too early. Now they regret it. Next take a look at BitSwift and compare it's innovation, roadmap, Paul & what's already been delivered, it's price, and age. See anything there? Cause I know I do. Learn from the mistakes of others, not your own  Wink

What I have enjoyed is the real-world actions from these developers, not only from a technological standpoint, but these developers are constantly appearing in the forums and Twitter, as well. You can actually have a conversation with them, and they do not have the air of patting themselves on the back- they are working on useful real-world offerings. I appreciate the matter-of-fact demeanor here- I just get an overall 'comfortable' feeling/level of trust in their team.
Anything further, I would just be rambling, it is hard to explain but I think you get it.
And as always, what do I know.

still stuck below 100 Cry

Are there really members in here who are questioning the role/importance/function of a wallet's .DAT file? At first it was funny (zero balance, LOL) but reading on it seems like a genuine query. Never delete Anything until you know exactly what it is/does! If you don't automatically empty your trash, recently deleted files will be in there.

can someone PM me with a nodes list? I rarely check this thread for obvious reasons:(

Trex is dumping wallets soon and I'd like to withdraw my coins Smiley

thanks

"addr" : "192.99.9.229:47377",
"addr" : "81.174.148.47:47377",
"addr" : "74.131.111.225:47377",

That's what I got right now...

appreciate it!

Those nodes are active Smiley

I am using wallet v1.0.1.7-beta- no additional nodes added, let it run- I fired it back up yesterday with no connections and no syncing for 5 hours. I let it run overnight and this morning it was fully synced. Windows 7.

I also didn't received my coin...this is getting fishy. Why is he not responding?

Socal just messaged me on Twitter 10 minutes ago with a tracking number for my coin, offered to return the btc i sent for shipping, and thanked me for my patience. Communication is the key here.
I will update when the coin arrives- supposed to be Saturday

Ditto! Ha-ha, I had written off my holdings long ago. Every now and then I sync my RIPO wallet- just in case. I bought in (a BUNCH) at over 1k, so you can imagine how depressed I have been! Things are picking up now, sure glad I didnt sell or just delete like I have many other alts!
Way to go, RIPO!s

I know he shipped one of them, but most not. I'm in the startjoin project, but didn't received mine yet. Hope he will send them soon.

yeah- I have talked to him on Twitter. I was the 8th person to purchase one on StartJoin- June 8th, I think. I even sent Socal 13.00 USD in Btc for shipping- in OCTOBER. He is always complaining about payday and shit- he just keeps lying to me. I haven't heard from him since November 15th. Attached is our last conversation. The guy is seriously slow-dragging. Notice how he said that If I sent him postage in Btc he would ship my coin out IMMEDIATELY after selling the bitcoin? yeah, that was on OCTOBER 22nd (the day I sent him shipping money). What a POS he is acting like, and StartJoin is... (BTW, I have 'donated' hundreds to a few projects, and I have had this happen with every one- NO REWARD EVER RECEIVED FROM ANY STARTJOIN-HOSTED PROJECT.

Dynamic interest clocked up to 4.56% over the weekend.... Grin

So, whilst the network itself is alive and well, this thread is in the shadow zone of the never-dead...so I suppose that visitors are either ghouls having a gloat, mourners lamenting and finally people assessing whether it is worth buying/trading....
in the absence of any other information, I'll give my assessment :

CONS

- Devs appear to have abandoned the project or at least have gone to ground since August, leaving some unfinished promises (please see previous posts)

- blockchain off-line and absence of Devs problematic should any technical issues arise in the future.

- recently de-listed from Bittrex and remaining Cryptsy market weak volume

- bad name for Asian market (someone told me that Gue sounds like "demon" in Chinese(?), but I'm not sure about that.(Personally, I see that as a PRO!)

PROS

- Fast and for the moment cheap staking coin (dynamic interest 1-8%)

- low coin number with low inflation, plenty of lifetime left for staking

- Network/infrastructure in good health with strong stakeholder support

- Some market support in current range

- potential takeover target for a new development team

- good name, cool in a certain milieu

- possibility that Devs will return with goodies (this is crypto after all!!)

Personally, I am supporting this coin both in the network and the market, because apart from the weak market, in my opinion, GUE is a good as, if not better than, a lot of other staking coins and I kind of like the absence of Devs constantly having to shout "improvements", because the coin has the potential to reposition itself as the rebel community coin...and I can feel that some of you are agreeing with me.  Smiley

Ok, these are just some thoughts, if anyone has any criticisms or additions please feel free to comment...

G

I was one of the Gue supporters and quite sured that this coin has enormous potential to success. So I invested considerable money into Gue actually. It's so sorry for Dev's disappearing all of sudden.

Even if this is abandoned long time ago, I also feel there are still some interests on this coin. (Seeing from out side, it's surely dead long ago)

I still stake the coin until now, and every time I open the wallet, I feel very sorry because the wallet is still working good without Dev. I agree with your idea of the resurrection of Gue since it hadn't fully achieved the potentials it has and still is worth to resume development.

But I'm totally an outsider of programming, so I just don't know barriers which might be confronted during revival work.

I just regard my loss as a tuition fee for the investment.

I consider my loss the price of a used car! I was in for 5btc , when bitcoin was trading in the 600s. To have someone take over the coin would be fantastic.

When you unlock your wallet syncing i s very fast . If it isn't encrypted then encrypt it and unlock it. I use the wallet this way. From zero to "up to date" - 1 days max without touching anything

shulio is correct- thanks for that. I unlocked my wallet and went from 6% to 39% synch in < 1 minute. Ha-ha- another minute and I 'mined' 14+ Cinni. #winning. Ha-ha, just my 2 cents. Can't believe I have had these since May! Oh, lookie- another 14.133 mined.

Finally an Alt which, IMHO, should become so widely adopted that any FUD attempts will be lost in the seas of positive reinforcement. For the first time, I actually laugh at the negative posts- I just see so much potential in Checkcoin, that the word 'inevitable' comes to mind when I consider the upward progress of the tech these Developers are bringing to the table.
great video, guys- it's also funny that I think 'YouTube is 'beneath' Checkcoin- hard to explain. I know the message must be spread however it can, I always considered YT a free-for-all for garbage. That's just me. Anyhow- RT the link to the video- it's worth a listen.  https://twitter.com/Checkcoincc/status/525551383794450432
Great job, and good luck to everyone here. This really will become something- the VERY first Alt which just may rival Btc and Ltc. This is awesome- glad to be a tiny part of it.
And as always, What do I know.

Another important question: how on earth does someone with a newbie account post negatively in THIS forum? Newbies Fudding in alt forums, I get that, but hard to imagine someone with little-to-no prior involvement within these pages as having a clue about this (Blocknet's proposed) tech.

Well, I have been checking on Startjoin for updates on the November (?) release- I thought I 'claimed' my coin when I sent you my 100 dollar donation? Just got back into town last night- a miracle I decided to check the web for a status update, and found this thread.
SOCAL, I PM'd you and sent you a Tweet this morning (U.S. time). I know you have my coin and the presentation box with the signed certificate ready to send me, right?
