Yes, with IEO liquidity is nearly guaranteed but... if the coin and project are shitty you will still loose your money...

It depends on which games you want to play - dice, lotteries, etc.

Because many good sites have a specialization.

But anyway it is a matter of trust, personal preferences, UI, etc...

You know every site has it's own audience...

It is still a blockchain forum so I assume that the most relevant gambling website for you as, probably, blockchain enthusiast, must be the one which is completely decentralized.

Your favorite kind of lottery?
by
SundayLottery
on 18/04/2019, 00:40:24 UTC

What is your favorite / preferable kind of lottery:

1. Active or passive approach:

Active: you need to guess winning numbers your self (like 6/45 etc.)

Passive: just buy ticket and wait if the ticket is lucky or not

2. Odds or prize amount?

Will you choose a lottery game with higher odds but lower prize, or lower odds but huge jackpot?

3. Reasonable ticket price?

Thank you everyone who joins the discussion.

I have already bought a ticket on your site.
Hope more players will join!
It would be a good idea to see my ticket number together with my other data. I know it does not mean anything because I don't choose numbers but still nice to know my lucky numbers.
And maybe if you make a chat at the same page with game it will be more attractive.

Great, thank you and welcome!

For player's ticket numbers, will add. It is possible.

For the chat, a great idea. Will try to add to the games pages. Or maybe we think about a light one page version with chat.

And will add more games soon...

Lottery  with government permission are surely legit and transparent they roll the winning number combination in front of the people using national television, but choosing lottery in online network need to choose correctly to avoid victim of scam.

It seems like you have not read my message before commenting because I gave very clear examples.

The fact that they roll winning numbers on television does not mean anything!

Here are some examples:

1. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-33746126

2. http://www.tirage-euromillions.net/en/blog/italian-lottery-scandal-the-blindfolded-children/

3. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1980_Pennsylvania_Lottery_scandal

4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqRYpQuPypc

and more less famous or uncovered...

In all these examples they were also drawing numbers in front of millions of TV watchers. And were successfully cheating them at that time.

For the blockchain lottery (i mean truly decentralized, working automatically) it is truly impossible to cheat. NO way to cheat, absolutely.

Prove me wrong...

Re: Is ICO regulation good or bad?
by
SundayLottery
on 17/04/2019, 04:45:56 UTC

I think any government regulations are not good.

(it is good only in the means of legal converting of cryptocurrencies to fiat when needed)

Community regulations / self-regulations by blockchain community are much better.

Again, it is difficult to create a perfect system somewhere where human factor is involved... any regulations will most probably come to over-regulating or prohibitive levels...

Since governments own lottery are more transparent and people have more trust on them than the individuals one.  Fortunejack is one of the most transparent and safe gambling sites and I think we have many other one and a trail is going to reveal to you. However remember that you can lose your investments in gambling.

Government lotteries are more transparent?

Are you aware of such cases like Triple Six Fix, Eddy Tipton, Milan Lotto / blindfolded children, Zhao Liqun, Serbian lottery scandal etc...
Even if you watch a draw on TV it does not mean you are not being cheated at the moment - refer to these cases...
Those are just some of well-known cases.

Blockchain-based lottery is the only truly transparent and independent lottery.

Any lottery where human factor is involved, including government lotteries, can't guarantee any fairness or transparency.

yes, before deciding to go play on the gambling sites you are going to visit you should have to find out the positive side of their website or by visiting an existing ANN thread and seeing feedback from people who comment on it, it could be a recommendation for us before decided to play on the newly launched gambling site

I only suggest being careful when you play on the new gambling website, and if necessary, you don't have to deposit your coin before you can test the game in that site. You can check the site with the bonus they are promised to give for the new people, or it is better to search the new gambling site with the faucet inside the website so you can try the games with the free coins.

After you can see how good their site, then you can decide to deposit or not and it's up to you. But at least, you can get a vision about the new gambling site. If you feel that you don't have to deposit on that website, then you should not do because sometimes, our feeling is right.

Yes it is a good idea to play in test network when possible (ropsten etc.)

Anyone recommend a crypto lottery to play that is legitimate? Anything in this space has better odds than government run lotteries.  Ideally something that pays 99-100% of collected funds to the winner and is verifiable with blockchain.

Check https://sundaylottery.org - currently several games are available.

1. Odds: e.g. in weekly lottery 50%+1 winning tickets.

2. Payout rate: 95% (weekly lottery)

3. Completely autonomous and verifiable with blockchain.
No admins / operators etc.
Absolutely automatic and independent.

4. Truly random winners choice.
Smart contract uses unpredictable variables like date, hash etc. + complicated formula.

Cons:

Just launched, not many players.
But this is a matter of time!

Future plans:

1. More games will be added soon like classic lotteries (choose numbers), dice, multi-level lotteries etc.
2. Will increase payout rate after getting more players.
3. Simplified website is being created (for those who likes simplicity).

Indeed new gambling sites is not safer because of no reputations they have proven

It depends.

Fully decentralized blockchain-based games do not need any trust or reputation as they are provably fair from the beginning.

No human factor involved, clear code, true transparency = safety.

So such new sites are originally safer than any old centralized/operated sites.

Re: Why are centralized exchanges still dominating the crypto space?
by
SundayLottery

Maybe because you can't deal with fiat gateways in a completely decentralized way...

Most people still use exchanges to exchange from/to fiat money...
