it seems like alt coins will fail, as the adaption of bitcoin, its the only getting accepted by merchants, the others will fade. no one will care for the alt coins, the others were just a ponzi. why do we need the other coins when we have more then 10 digits in bitcoin
We need innovation to move forward in the cryptoverse. Bitcoin has stagnated with it's innovation because the developers are scared to do big changes with the blockchain/blocktime. The new alt coins shows different ways to do stuff with the blockchain. Take for example Blackcoin with its PoS 2.0 solution. It has a faster transaction time than Bitcoin which is better when you actually want to buy something with your coins. It also have better security when it comes to 51% attacks and not to mention the energy saving since it's Proof of Stake. And then we have Ethereum with it's contract scripting system.
This is just an example of innovations and solutions that the other altcoins can come up. Bitcoin will need to change if it wants to be #1 cryptocoin in the future.
Dont take me wrong here, I love Bitcoin and the Blockchain Technology but we also need the altcoin development to try out all the new innovations.

BC should in the future be the coin to use as a transference medium for exchange arbitrage. BTC is so slow it makes no sence to use it except for "bank storage". I'm guessing that the BTC Devs needs to fork it in the future to keep BTC alive.
Once the BIG exchange owners and traders will understand this, BlackCoin will most likely be the favourite coin to use instead of Bitcoin when it comes to fast transfers. Also, BC / X trading pairs on the exchanges needs to be added to make it simpler for traders.

I´ve downloaded the cudaminer with stratum fix for maxcoin. But when I´m running the .bat file the window closes instantly.
These are my settings:
cudaminer.exe --algo=kecca -l F1000x16 -L 128 -o stratum+tcp://maxpool.1gh.com:17333 -O hidden:hidden
GTX 630m
any help?

Har själv investerat i c:a 18.000kr för ungefär 4 bitcoins (2 som jag sparar och 2 som jag leker med på cryptsy.com (köpa och sälja coins) och c:a 6000 för 2st ASUS Radeon R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 DCUII ( hashrate: c:a 700kH/s per kort) för mina 2 burkar och kan nog säga att dom 2 korten har tjänat mig bra mycket mera pengar nu när jag kan mina scrypt alt.coins snabbare.

ja tyvärr så är nog earthcoin ett scamcoin..tråkigt med oseriösa devs som bara vill tjäna snabba pengar
