Yeh im running the x13 kernel on an R9 280x with Win 7 - 64bit and getting intermittent crashes (GPU Crashes) have constantly restart miner :/ Any and all help appreciated. Tried all sorts of settings and keep getting GPU crashes / Resets. Could the guys compiling/developing this please have a look into this as I have noticed some others with similar issues.

Failing that, is there another x13 Windows Miner available that I can use untill the GPU Crash issues are sorted? Thanks Heaps Wink

I just tried X11 using this miner and having same issue. I have no problem using other miners for X11 like the one from Darktalk.org but for some reason after 20 or 30 accepted shares GPU crashes. If any one knows what causing this I would love to know.

My Basic Settings are as follows, but I have tried many combinations of intensity, GPU Core speed, work size, voltage etc, but all eventually crash

I am using CGWatcher so theres a few extra settings there so the miner can be monitored, but they shouldn't interfere with miner

Every coin that comes out there is always a group that missed out and then insist on hating on that coin till they are blue in the face. no body takes them seriously. If you are relative new to crypto, I cannot promise you SHIBE will be the most profitable or that it is any worse or any better than any other coin. I can promise you it is NOT a Scam. There is perhaps one reason it makes it amongst some of the best (not necessarily the best) coins is because the developers seem to be on top of issues, they have been upfront and transparent in everything like pre mining etc. There are other coins like this, but there are sooo many that are not. SHIBE should not be in that category. Though I am having a hard time getting my questions answered in here :/

I am an active DOGE miner/trader. I have no problem with SHIBE. In fact the subtle differences in SHIBE (to me) mean that they will be able to complement one another. I will be very surprised if one can cancel the other out.

Happy Crypto Everyone.

P.S. Am I supposed to leave my SHIBE Wallet open 24/7 in order to receive rewards for PoS and I understand the reward is 10% per year, but how often are rewards paid for PoS? Are they too paid yearly, monthly, weekly etc?

Can I ask a question? Am I supposed to leave my SHIBE Wallet open all the time in order to get PoS rewards? Also how long before I am likely to see any reward? I understand its 10% Per year, but is that paid yearly? Monthly? Daily/weekly?

Please Answer me Smiley PRETTY PLEASE!!!! Smiley

I vote for #1 albertdros' submission:

Both are great. But I think for a Coin (even crypto) it needs to be a little more minimalist and also I like the metallic look too.

Straight after installing SHIBE Wallet, my windows 7 cursor is all messed up. Its like a vertical stick with little spikes on it, instead of an arrow :/ Is the shibe wallet supposed to change my cursor or something but it failed and looks really weird now?

Re: Does SMOS works with the Gridseeds ???
by

on 07/05/2014, 10:39:51 UTC
Oh please do. Windows has been a complete failure with Gridseeds. no problem mining the GPu, but want use a USB linux distro to control Gridseeds on a separate box to my windows box, but am a total linux and ASIC Noob. I just dont know where to start or what to do. I just dont even know if SMOS or BAMT will be useful to me. On this linux box I will be mining the Seeds only, that box has a nVidia card and I wont even bother getting any Hash's from that. I think at best it was only ever good for 80kh/s So any and all help I could receive to get up and running with a linux Distro on USB to control Gridseed 5 chip Dual miners (scrypt only) would be greatly and muchly appreciated because like the other guys above I have googled and googled and found next to nothing that is specific to my needs.

Thanks a Tonne in Advance Cheesy

Re: Green (solar) mining in action
by

Im a bit gob smacked at those saying No ROI. /me shakes head/ ROI is not an issue when your talking about things that can be used outside of mining. with Solar for example, if you stop mining you use it to generate power for your home of other device. There are inverters you can buy that just plug straight in to you Home 240v/110v Power Sockets and top up your home electricity. Say you dont stop mining, well then that's free power for however many years the panely lasts. most a guaranteed for 10 to 30 years. I will solarizing my Gridseeds ASAP. im trying to sort through all the pages of other peoples projects for clues. I have a little head start, years ago I brought a 200w Wind turbine I never got around to installing on a tower. I also live in Australia and we got a tonne of sunshine here, even in winter we are good for 6 hours full sun, another 4 hours partial. in summer its around 10 hours full sun. So I am confident Solar & wind for me will work well. Also if your an electronics enthusiast like myself its a great project and ROI is just not an issue.

Anyone know where I can get the checksum for CGminer 372? doesn't seem to be even available for download on cklovias anymore. Why? I hear you moaning! Because my Anti Virus keeps putting it in the vault. I have already put both a folder and a file Exception for it, but still It keeps removing it every time a scan is run. Very frustrating as I have Machine set to run Scans in the early hours of morning while I am asleep which usually means it looses a few hours of miming before I wake up and see CG she not be runnin' no more. Even worse if I sleep in like yesterday, turns out I missed about 5 hours of mining :O (which as I am sure many of you can relate is a complete disaster really. Sounds petty, but things are becoming sooooo competitive now that down time is Critical. any ideas? Please be reasonable.

Now that prices have come down as low as $120 US for  a single I think I might have a crack, though maybe I should wait, the price seems to be dropping rapidly which either means there is a new line comeing soon or they are going to be useless very quickly as diff goes up

What on earth is going on. in another thread on this I have been locked out and all I did was ask "is this a scam or not (apologies if its not) but could someone please get to the bottom of this who has the knowledge to figure this out?"

Also the one guy who did do some research (and then PM'd me about it (thank you digga)) has been banned from receiving message from me?!?!?! I dunno why. The only thing I can think of maybe is that One message he sent me was saying something about that he had been accused of threatening or harassing or something the creators of the Panamanian so called "Australia Coin".

I have a feeling he had perhaps threatened to get to the bottom of weather or not this coin was a fake or a scam or whatever and the thread owner reported him (maliciously & fraudulently) to bitcointalk.org

Man what a mess this is. There is no doubt (at least in my mind) this coin is not owned or operated by Australians (its not even in English anymore, its like Spanish or Italian) and is most certainly not for Australians. ***Given that the Coin Dev site & Forum are hosted in Panama (WTH?) Im going to guess all that text at beginning of thread is in Spanish.

So is it a scam? I Guess if they where upfront and told people that while this is called Australia coin, it has nothing to do with Australia it would technically not be a scam. But that's not what is happening. At no point have they (the devs) come forward and announced that this coin has nothing to do with Australia, other than its name. Given all the people being locked out of threads, reported & what not (seemingly for no reason) one would have to assume its a Scam. All I did was if it was a scam & apologized if it was not and even I was locked out?!?!?! WTH? Soooo Un-Australian. I mean Fair Go Aye?

Its a Dam shame they have taken the name "Australia coin" and totally ruined it for Australia. I guarantee you they will probably be going though every country in the world that does not have a coin and making one. That is sooooo unfair and most certainly "un-australian" This makes me very sad. I was sooo excited to be getting behind a crypto that belonged to the country I call home.

Is there anything we can do? Can we shut them down? can we launch a class action? can we start our own coin? Koala Coin, Aussie Coin, Tru Blue Coin, Roo Coin, Kanga Coin, Digga Coin, Southern Cross Coin, Great Southern Coin, etc etc. Please I want to get behind a coin that is Australian owned, Australian developed, and benefits Australians. Im sure there are plenty of other Australian miners/traders that want this too. Its not fair that other country's are doing, and while we sit here twiddling our thumbs, some other country (apparently Cubans) start a coin called Australia Coin.

Where are you Ozdigger? The Forum wont let me reply to your messages :/ It keeps saying my last post was less than 360 ago (even though I hadn't even made a post in 24 hours and had been at least 15 minutes since being logged in) and yet I can post this reply in here :/ WTH?

by

on 09/04/2014, 02:56:21 UTC
One other strange thing is that Aussies Seldom use Red, White & Blue to represent Australia in color. I find it hard to believe an Aussie would design an Australian coin that used REd, White & Blue (of course I may be wrong) I would have though we would have gone with Green & Gold or perhaps even Black, Red & Yellow. Aussies will know why. Anyhow, I may be wrong & if I am then I am deeply sorry for criticizing that choice. In the end if Australia coin is genuinely Australian, then I really dont care what color it isz, Im just adding this post to the argument of weather or not Australia coin is an Honest Australian Product or an international Scam.

How the frack did I not hear about this :/ Sacm Frasm Rasm Double crossin'. Anyhoo. Whats this about a potential scam? I beg any Aussies who are in the way of the knowing to get to the bottom of this. Is this ran by People outside AU? If it is can we please get together and Launch a true Australia Coin? If we can confirm this is genuinely an Australian coin then I am in. I only have an R9 280x but have been contemplating investing in much more hardware. I mean a helluva lot more. I have hesitated a little, but I would invest everything I have (And more by selling a few things) to help mine an Aussie Coin. We should call it Straya Coin. lol Im joking. Or perhaps Southern Cross Coin? Kanga Coin? Koala coin? I will even buy some Australian Crypto if it can be verified to be genuinely Australian, as I am right into trading anyway.

A Genuinely Australian coin is & has been a great idea. Almost everything we get involved (as Australians) we do well, and commit deeply, especially when it is for Australians.WE only have a tad over 25 mill people, but we somehow make a big representation on the world scene when compared by per capita percentages. Take online Gaming for Examples. For me its motor Racing Games and simulators. Many Gaming company's include Australian Cars and Tracks because even though Australia only has a small population, we have a massive presence (for our size) in these community's and there are countless examples out side of Gaming. Whats my point? I hear you asking. Well Because of our presence and because we are largely "liked" online by much of the international community (of course there are exceptions) (and im sure ill get a nice Troll Response for that) I have no doubt we will get a lot of help from international exchanges and perhaps even pools like IPOminer.com or cryptsy for e.g.

The thing is we need to know who & what we are backing. I dont have enough knowledge to verify the Integrity of this coin, I also dont have the knowledge to Launch a True Australian coin (should it turn out this coin is a fake/scam) but I have Enthusiasm for anything that I am involved in, in my life and add another % more enthusiasm when it has something to do with the Country I love and call home.

If there is anything I can do to to help a True Australian coin, then count me in. I have many talents and skills & I would love to be involved. I would commit unlimited time into this, if I can just verify the interity of the coin.

To IPO Admin:

Hello, I have been using IPO for about 7 weeks and would now like to try and get more coins other than ECC (which I have by far the most of) I would like to hedge my bets a little more. I would like to gamble my mining time a little more and bet that (at the very least) one other coin, other than ECC will be as profitable or more Profitable. So.... Could you please, pretty please, with sugar on top: Publish the Ports for Direct mining of a single coin. I already have the direct port for ECC, but I have noticed that at least KARMA & SURGE is being Direct Mined by some people. At the very least could you publish the Direct ports for those you are allowing to be Directly mined in the one post.
I think IPO is a wonderful idea, and has great administration. However my only complaint is that it often spends way more time than I like on one coin. I think we would find this especially tru for many new users who have not been mining on IPO when other coins wher mined. I think there would also be a few that are like minded with me, as well as some who for other reason would want a direct port. In other words I am sure I am not alone. I am finding it tempting to go to multipool 12 hours per day, just so I have a few different eggs in my basket, so to speak.

I realize that the IPO Multiport does change, but from what I have observed, it is not often and not for long before going back to ECC. I understand why that is, but to me just because someone has forecast "Prospective Profitability" (you can have that one) doesn't (to me) mean it will turn out that way. Great Scientists still fail to Forecast weather with 100% Accuracy, I dont see why the Prospective Profitability of any Particular coin should be any Different. So yeah, I want to hedge my bets a little more. The best way to do this, is some direct mining. Yet I hate signing up to many different pools etc. Again please, pretty please with sugar on top Begin allowing for and then publishing Direct mining. Also Could you please release the Port numbers for any & All coins you are allowing this for at Present.

Suspicious of Moon lovers? I am suspicious of Moon Haters. Is it really So strange that there wIlL be People that Support the coin who are just miners? God people are soo.. so.. soo.. welll.. Whats the word... Nasty when they are jealous. Maybe ther is a virus version floating around, maybe ther is not. All I know is the QT Available from the Dev source is fine. Completely ripped from DOGE Coin, but thats ok. If I had the nouse to do it, Id be Making "Jay Coin" (My name is Jayson) LOL. and Coz im a lazy SOB i'd prolly use the Open code Moon used. Every body just relax, start doing drugs or something, coz acting like this you gonna give your self an Ulcer, man you need to take some pills or something. lol

P.S. Many Walletsz, miners and Assoc Plugins etc can give False Positive Virus Alerts too, so Chill! Dont hate stuff so much, esp c oz you missed out for what ever reason.

Merry Mining Everybody!
