ᴥ 26/02/2021: After much deliberation, we have decided to expand our platform to the Binance Smart Chain. With the recent spike on gas fees on the Ethereum network, it became almost impossible for small retail investors to take advantage of all the benefits that we aim to provide to these individuals, and we firmly believe that blockchain is all about accessibility and democracy, and as for today, Ethereum is none of these. While our current infrastructure built on Ethereum will not be compromised by any means, this move will bring tremendous benefits to our users, allowing very low-fee transactions on a platform that has now proven to be reliable and consistent. Since most of the development of our platform happens off-chain, it won't be affected on any shape or form, and tokens on both networks will benefit equally from our updates and new features. We will be deploying the smart contracts for the new BEP-20 tokens in the next few days, while working on a few changes in our website to accommodate the new network compatibility. Initially, we will migrate Swaap Stablecoin (SAP), which will be named Binance Swaap (BSAP) on the new network, followed by our governance token, Swaap Governance (SAPG), which will be named Binance Swaap Governance (BSAPG) on the new network. Supply of both tokens won't change and any BEP-20 tokens issued, will have its ERC-20 counterpart burned. More information will be made available in our social media channels

It's nice to read that swaap team is working. And I think, if they really make easier way to mint SAP through Nova Bank, paying with credit card, will incrase interest to swaap project. Let's see...

the process is seamless, and your coins are credited in your account as soon as your payment is confirmed.Swaap Governance (SAPG) is not pegged. Is our governance token and its value will be the one determined by the market. Swaap Stablecoin (SAP) on the other hand, is pegged to the USD and fully backed. The target is to keep each SAP to be worth one USD, and we have been very successful on doing it to date. Yesterday's crash was a big test, and coin still kept its peg. You are also able to convert your SAP into fiat using Nova Bank. The platform is already operating and you can get in and out SAP any time you want.

We are working hard to give our project utility and usefulness, and for that, we are about to announce major changes to come to Nova Bank's platform and consequently to our own tokens. It's fine if the token is indeed stable and has not experienced a drastic increase. But will it be stable if the Bitcoin price continues to grow? will the token continue to be stable?
Hi, yes for SAP and no for SAPG. SAP tokens are pegged to the US dollar value at a 1:1 basis, so if the BTC price increases in dollar terms, the SAP price will remain the same, while the BTC price in SAP terms will also increase. Our governance tokens in the other hand, SAPG, have a free-floating market value, and its value might increase and decrease independently, even though altcoins such as this one, tend to be - at least on some degree - correlated to Bitcoin, so sometimes you will see BTC prices increasing and SAPG prices following its trend.
Hi, no, you can buy it directly from us, and we will cover the gas fees ourselves. I know that Ethereum fess are ridiculous at the moment, and we are working to make Nova Bank compatible with SAPG as well, in a way that users won’t incur in gas fees while using the platform. The whole Nova Bank's platform is built on top of our technology, and works exclusively with Swaaps and US Dollars, thus the assumption that these kind of questions wouldn't be raised by the community. I feel the same as you dude, I have no clue where can we buy SAP? I just checked the telegram group recently and everyone can buy SAP from the site, It looks like the developers wanna make its own token more valuable by making SAPG can be bought only with SAP.
The mechanism used by the swaap dev makes me confusing.
We are aware of the high transaction costs at the moment, and as advised above, the only reason why we only have a SAP-SAPG pool at the moment is to bring more awareness to the platform itself. Though, looking at all these responses from you guys, I might open a discussion with the team as for creating other pools to make it available to the users to purchase SAPG tokens directly. In the end, we want to work for you guys, and do it in a way that you will appreciate and give value to the project, and if you are saying that you rather purchase our tokens directly, without having to use our utility tokens, that is something that we will definitely take a look at.

As replied to the user above, the reasoning of it is just to bring more awareness to the platform, and if you read through the announcements, you will se that you can buy SAP tokens using USDT, DAI or USDC at any time through Uniswap or LedgerDex. You also have the option to purchase our governance tokens directly from us, until the presale stage is over (20th March). So if you want to bypass buying SAP tokens for that, just reach out on Telegram or via email (info@swaap.org).

Hi Asyakashi, the reasoning behind it is that the project is already fully funded, and we are not looking to raise capital out of the sale, but to bring awareness to the platform. Allowing only swaps through our native tokens allows us to do that, as more people will become aware of the existence of our platform through the purchasing of our utility token (SAP), so they won't be looking at it exclusively as a speculative instrument, but a truly powerful platform that allows individuals and companies to do business globally.

Hi Sourhearrt, initially we were not expecting to launch on CEXs, but since we started a few exchanges contacted us and we are now on the process of due diligence to decide if we will be listing, and if yes, with what exchanges we will be working. As for now, nothing has been decided yet.
No, the team has no intention to remain anonymous, the request for the company who maintain the website to update the social links has been already put through, and we are waiting for it to be updated. As for the photos, they we decided to keep the avatars, as it somehow reflects our joyful mojo, but you will be able to check each individual member on their socials, once the links are updated.
