Re: Invest into Bitcoin or bank

I have worked to get $2000 worth of money and I am planning of investing in bitcoin but my uncle is pressuring me to save the money at bank. I have done everything to convince him but he is not comprehending to my point. Please what do i tell him again to convince him?
For  me  investing in bitcoin better than bank because bitcoin is more opportunity and more chances to earn double or triple than bank. And they know all  about the advantages between bitcoin and bank.Bitcoin investment is a great opportunity for us to increase our wealth and assets as the flactuations in price can increase BTC to more than 100%.

Re: Patience is the key

As a matter of fact, it is very few number of noobs in the cryptocurrency business that understand the level at which patience is required and valuable in the business. I do tell my friends around me that wish to come in to the business “it’s only patience ones that would feed from the milk of a lion” . I bought some coins few weeks ago, which I decided to hold while it was dipping but I keep holding with zero fear and absolute patience. Presently, i’m In over 47% profit in all. My advice to my colleagues is all you need is buy into coins with good potential and relax even while it’s at dip. Trust me, you won’t live to regret anything if only you would be able to hold with patience. Thanks
I believe that the patience is the key to our success.Patience together with full determination and positive set of mine are we needed so we can making better decisions. However, trust and believe to the system is also important to have because it can help is to still support even we know that we can able experiencing difficult. All of this  traits are needed to reaches our success in life

Re: Does money make you rich?
by
Swanh
on 15/07/2018, 13:53:20 UTC
To me the answer is No. Money alone doesn't make an individual rich. A lot of people go to work everyday, working for money and making more money, but fail to become richer. Ironically, many only grow deeper in debt.we have all heard stories of lottery winners who are instantly poor again. Also there are cases of real estate going into foreclosure instead of making homeowners richer. We all know of persons who have lost money investing in the stock market. Maybe you are one of those individuals who have lost money investing on cryptocurrency,Bitcoin to be precise. Even investing in gold(real money) can cost the investor money

For all intents and purposes, it is not business, estates, stocks, bitcoin (crypto currency) or money that makes a person rich. It is information, wisdom, knowledge that makes one wealthy.
If you are really determined to work hard then obviously you can be financially successful through cryptocurrency. So it is not true that cryptocurrency will make you rich in a day,you have to invest your time on proper things and very calculative to achieve that position. Also you have  to be very lucky to billionaire with the help of cryptocurrencies.

Re: Is now a good time to buy Eth?
by
Swanh
on 15/07/2018, 13:35:21 UTC
Newbie here... I've been thinking about buying my first crypto. I think I want to buy ETH, but wondering if I missed the boat already?

Primarily I'm choosing ETH because I think there are less foreseeable limitations than BTC, and it seems like ETH is basically accepted everywhere BTC is. Plus its cheaper  Grin

Is now a good time to buy it? Should I wait?
I think ETH is  one of the most promising coins. The rising  price of Etherium will continue but I doubt that it will happen rapidly. For experienced investors more attractive are the new unvalued coins. They can show very large growth rates. But it is very risky for beginners.

Re: Bitcoin's volatility is a non-issue
by
Swanh
on 15/07/2018, 09:05:15 UTC
I know that this subject has been discussed many times before, but lest we forget when yet another conventional financial journalist, investor, money manager, perceived thought-leader et al pronounces on why Bitcoin will fail because it is too volatile to be used as a currency or store of value:

  • Each Bitcoin transaction is a zero-sum game -- one party benefits to the same extent that the other does not benefit. So one party is guaranteed always to be fine with the volatility. And neither party knows for sure (or at all) who that beneficiary will be.
  • The purchaser of a bitcoin has still spent the same amount of fiat no matter what the volatility after the purchase.
  • The premise that the aggrieved party could have done this or that instead of send someone a bitcoin that later appreciated in value has no more merit than to say that that party could have bought a stock or bond that later did well too. In each case, they simply did not have the information needed in time. Shoulda coulda woulda is not a valid argument.
  • If Bitcoin were impractical as a currency, the dark web would not use it. There would be no Bitcoin-using dark web.
  • Many things have been used as currency. Anything tradeable and of proven long-term value (like gold) or expected shorter-term value (like packs of Kent cigarettes in communist Romania) can be used as a practical currency, and have. Before WWI, travelers checks had the rate of conversion printed on them because it was expected that the gold-back currencies backing them would be stable. And so they were. The fact that fiat currencies require electronic conversion-rate signs today shows that their stability is entirely an illusion. They are not stable.

The argument that Bitcoin's volatility specifically negates its value as a store of value is clearly false as well. Stocks and commodities and their futures (as well as the effective interest rates of some bonds) are highly volatile. The mantra is that you accept their risk in exchange for growth. Fine. But volatile Bitcoin has growth potential too -- lots of growth potential. Both Bitcoin and Ethereum, as systems of decentralized, immutable, economical, sustainable, and perfectly legal data-registration means that everyone will become their own notary public. The implications for intellectual property protection are arguably beyond what we can now imagine.

Underlying all of Bitcoin's volatility is an unchanging protocol that is proven to work -- and expected to grow.
There are several factors causing volatility in the market. However,I believe that unregulated market and lack of maturity are biggest reasons for it.The market is unregulated so anyone can trade with any amount from any corner of the world and he can do it at anytime of the day so a big volume affects the price.

I want to know whether what is a blockchain technology...? If you know, please explain as simple as possible....
For me blockchain is the distributed ,public digital ledger. It is made  for bitcoin and its look like a chain of block. It is linked and secured by cryotograph. It  also called a database because it records all the data chronologically and publicly.

#consensus2018

The narrative has changed. It used to be “Is Bitcoin a scam?” now it’s “ how high do you think the price will go”.
Institutional money is on its way people.

Matthew Goetz from 'Block Tower Capital' stated in front of a capacity crowd at Consensus;
"Bitcoin to 60k in 2018"

Goldman Sachs are already well and truly in the space.

Maybe because it is easy for them to create one that is why scamming is not a hard thing to do.I suggest search and gather information about a particular ICO or project before exerting efforts and giving much time or investment.

by

Bitcoin was the first blockchain based cryptocurrency and is as yet the market pioneer in view of market capitalization. However, even as the benchmark in the crypto ecosystem, it remains exceptionally volatile. Your opinion about the Future of Bitcoin...
In my opinion, not always bitcoin will lead the cryptocurrency market. So far right now, I think that it is possible that bitcoin will lead the cryptocurrency forever I am not seeing any good crypto right now,we all don't know what will  happen next coming years so we can't give exact answer for the future, but what's important is right now bitcoin is the all time leading crypto.

I want involve this sector fulltime. But is their any ensurity of better future?
I think its difficult in your part to left regular jobs and make it fulltime here because you were only just a jr.member and you still need to have alot of time to rank up and this would be very difficult since merit system had able our account to just leave it there. If we doesn't get any merits then we don't have any chance to rank up and jr.member has less stakes earned than higher member.I see that it is too risky on your part to decide making this job full time mate.

Re: Good business is a business that begins, not questioned continuously
by
Swanh
on 09/07/2018, 01:34:37 UTC
Many people in this world are always questioning this, what is a good business? Well, good business is a business that begins, rather than being questioned because the hard thing in doing business is to walk to the first ladder. If we do not start a single step, we will never get to the top. Just as with trading, or investing in cryptocurrency, without trying and starting investing in it, you will not know how much profit you get, and how much experience you will receive if the market is down. Remember that experience is the best teacher.
Well i think everyone is aware on what might be the outcome of our investments, its either it will earn profit or we will get bankrupt.According to what you say experience is our best teacher so we must treasure it because this might be our key to become successful.

Re: My opinion about ETH
by
Swanh
on 08/07/2018, 14:28:14 UTC
In my opinion , ETH is now more hot than BTC because the explosion of ICOs base on ETH Blockchain. During the recent dip, ETH price even a little come up, all altcoins and BTC holders lose funds but ETH holders still have profit. So i think that ETH will reach BTC price this year. What do you think guys?
ETH is one of the top coin and yes the price right now are soaring higher for me better to wait for some correction because it will happen so you can make money.Be more patient ,this is the common rule in this kind of market or if you really want to take this opportunity right now then do it,just hold it because the future of ETH is really good.

Re: Investing in Bitcoin? Advantages and Disadvantages
by
Swanh
on 08/07/2018, 14:09:15 UTC
While browsing the net, I have stumbled on an interesting article were all the advantages and risks related to investing in Bitcoin have been laid down. An excellent, and informative read: http://cryptodetail.com/page/risks-of-investing-in-cryptocurrency
In my opinion there are more advantages of bitcoin than its disadvantages. One of the advantages of bitcoin is it can be used anytime and anywhere as long as you have an internet connection,it can also be a store of value.Second advantages of bitcoin it can be a good form of investment and the last advantages of bitcoin is decentralization.Since it is decentralized , government has  no control over it and every transaction are non taxable. As for the disadvantages of Bitcoin it has no regulating body so it is more riskier, also it has no fixed value.

Re: Is Bitcoin a Bubble?
by
Swanh
on 08/07/2018, 13:45:24 UTC
Wall street grows ever more certain Bitcoin is a bubble. I can't even say they're wrong. Flirting with $6000 per coin and low economic utility? For as dumb as Jamie Dimon sounds every time he says anything about Bitcoin, the tulip bubble analogy looks less and less inappropriate all the time.

Quote
In a note to clients published on Thursday, analysts at UBS took a long look at Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, and the blockchain technology that underwrites this whole enterprise.

Looking only at pricing, UBS said that, “a twenty-fold increase in bitcoin prices in just two years, and an absence of any fundamental economic backing, cryptocurrency prices are almost certainly a bubble.”

Blockchain utility doesn't make crypto not a bubble. That'll be important to remember for people buying now expecting to make big gains at this cost basis, and there's real risk there.
It will probably always depend on the fact if a good/commodity will have any use after a bubble burst. The enormous attention that bitcoin has received through the building up of the bubble may have encouraged innovations. If however BTC and cryptosin general will be abandoned after a real burst of the bubble  all the infrastructure and innovation may arguably be useless.

Re: Regulation of Bitcoin
by
Swanh
on 08/07/2018, 07:28:17 UTC
Many governments are concern about cryptocurrency and they think it should to be regulated. What do you think regulation and how is it going to effect the price ?
Maybe if bitcoin will be regulated by the government, the value of bitcoin will decrease after they make some regulation on it,because I think that bitcoin is awesome when it will be used freely.Furthermore if the government make their hands on bitcoin,I think it's one of the worst move of bitcoin, because it will make some rules and it maybe effect bitcoin negatively.

It has not even reach the quarter of his goal because they are still much to achieve that will make the masses to join the forces of blockchain in the future.  i also see government approved it soon.
In my opinion bitcoin still has not reached its goal. Both in terms of price because Bitcoin prices are still volatile and very far away to get back to their highest price. But the main purpose of bitcoin into digital currency that can be accepted by the world

Re: why bitcoin is volatility?
by
Swanh
on 03/07/2018, 14:36:00 UTC
Why bitcoin is votality compare to fiat money. Many say bitcoin is not a good investment because it is votality.

What is votality?
liability to change rapidly and unpredictably, especially for the worse. this is the fast price change.

Why is the votality of bitcoin high?
Bitcoin is a low supply at the time of its growing number of users and it has become a demand for the masses. Many want to buy, Many want to sell in easy-word multiple transactions. When many bitcoin transactions are fast market movements and we do not know what might happen because of the emotion of the seller and the buyer may have the price increase or decrease. So the bitcoin is votality because of the small supply and in-demand.

Why is fiat money not too volatility?
Because the government is able to regulate a traditional money, they can make new money and just increase its supply so that it does not have a votality compare to bitcoin.

Note: This is my only opinion, if you have any opinion you can also share it.
Bitcoin votality is also a driven in large part by varying perceptions of the intrinsic value of the cryptocurrency as a store of value and method of value transfer.A store of value of the function by which an asset can be useful in the future with some predictability.

Re: investing more than 10k worth it?
by
Swanh
on 03/07/2018, 07:00:59 UTC
is it a gambling habit that you invest more than 10k? most people that are into crypto are working and taking classes at the same time. only to take loans for school to put into crypto. should you invest more than 10-30k dollars worth of crypto? back then people are investing only 1,000 to 5,000 into bitcoin. how serious is crypto. back than i hear people opening 2nd loans from their homes. but now it has quiet down a bit.
Thats quitely big amount for investments mate.I think that it depends on how confident you are to invest in a coin, you need to keep safe first your priority in life just like your daily expenses, daily needs if that already settled down and you still have remainings then theres nothing wrong with that as long as you know the risk behind it.You might gain huge profit or might lose some of your money in investing in cryptocurrency.

Re: Best way to store Bitcoin safely ?
by
Swanh
on 02/07/2018, 14:07:43 UTC
Hi guys
I know this might sound like a newbie question, but Ive not had enough bitcoin to think about putting any in cold storage since Cryptsy ripped me off when they went down Sad
But just lately ive built myself back up a bit, and just need to check my understanding of a creating a cold wallet is correct ? This is what I think was the best way but im not sure Huh

1. Download latest BTC client
2. move to a pc not connected to the internet.
3. Create an address on that PC without internet.
4. Send fund to address created on PC with no internet access.
5. Save keys in safe place Smiley

Also I was wondering if there are any 100% safe third party wallets that enable quick access if needed ?

Sorry if my question has been covered many times, but I just don't want to make a big mistake.

Thanks
Rick
For me the best way to store bitcoin using with Ledger Nano S.For the best security, you required cold storage.Cold storage in the blockchain realm simply means a device that is disconnected from the internet. This is the toughest security measure possible to safeguard any crypto-investment from the prying interests of hackers.

Re: What bitcoin brings to its users?
by

on 02/07/2018, 03:59:22 UTC
I watch a lot of information on the television talk about bitcoin (mainly the news about the bankruptcy, the bad side of bitcoin). On the other hand, I read a lot of online articles about the benefits of Bitcoin. What does Bitcoin offer the user?
Bitcoin has become a very useful tool for investments,it either long term or short term. This ebables any person in the world to earn more profit without exemptions. You will earn based on how determined you are to work things out in the cryptocurrency community. There were lots of opportunities that hinders beyond cryptocurrency and this just truly depends on how we handle it most especially our time, patience and effort.
