I got the key cent but can not get the coins in wallet, nothing happens after the command in the console. Can you help me? pennies_release-10.3.5

One thing that might be missing in the document is that you should execute "importprivkey" before downloading the whole blockchain (if you need to download it).
If not: you need to restart your wallet with the -rescan option. This may take a while.
As far as I remember importprivkey takes a third boolean argument which defaults to true. This third arguments tells the wallet to do a rescan (takes also a while).

Probably you need to call importprivkey "some label" true

Or how already said: start the wallet with a -rescan argument.

Kindly note that you won't see your funds until the blockchain is fully downloaded. (Depends on the coin but that's certainly the case for CENT) CENT has around 900k blocks and it can take about 48 hours until the blockchain is fully downloaded.

Edit: In case that you're still downloading the blockchain and we're talking about CENT: you don't need to do anything right now. Just wait Smiley

The exchange engine was one of the best ones, such a shame to see this fall apart, I will let them keep the few alts I had there

I hope to see the competition learning from what a good interface and service is  Roll Eyes

RIP Swisscex Cry

Thank you very much.

José, if that's true, then i ask you to forgive me for my previous post, i was wrong.

No need to apologize. Pretty understandable that you thought that.

The process already started btw. You all should have received your private keys already.

Hi everybody

You'll receive an email by the end of the week with all your private keys

Keep in mind that you only will get the keys of already settled accounts which are quite a few.
CENT owners: You must be patient since we need to process them manually.

As soon as you got the keys transfer the coins to another adress.

Further information can be found in the exchange closure document posted on twitter.

Best regards
José

Importing private keys is like spending money coins from a paper wallet.

You can import Bitcoin private keys on blockchain.info, so you don't need to download the whole blockhain.

Most wallets (based on qt) can import private keys via the console with the command: importprivkey
See tutorial here: http://dogecointutorial.com/paper-wallet.html

We are sorry that we could not offer blockchain transfers for a longer time. At least this way we can ensure that all customers have enough time to claim their coins. We recommend to transfer your coins to another address (for security reasons) after importing the private keys. Importing a private key does not compromise the security of your wallet.

Can you explain why you are not having a simple withdrawal method, why you are complicating with private keys? I believe many of us does not use offline wallets and importing those keys is not possible via online wallets so not sure how we will use them.

Thank you,
Ivan.

Hi Ivan,

There are two main reasons:
  • Hosting a large number of wallets is expensive.
  • This method allows us to send the coins to our customers mailboxes if needed.

Hope this anwers your question.

Best regards,

All KSC accounts have already been settled.
You can get your private keys and import into your personal wallet. You can find them under: Accounts -> Settled Accounts (Tab)

Withdrawals won't work. Probably at a later stage but that's still a topic that we have to discuss.

So please save your private keys and your KSC will always be safe.

Forgot to add: For those who need some nodes:
We are currently connected to those two: 188.166.39.75 104.236.224.33

Not yet processed are the following coins: CNO, CORG, EMU, FAIL, CAC, FSC, XPY, CARBON, PPC, CCN, MTC, GRC, CENT, GRA, DRK

Most of them should be by the end of this week. The delay is owed to the implementations of these wallets.

We thank you for your patience.

Do we have to guess where are these keys ??

They can be found under "My Portfolio" under "Settled Accounts".

Sorry it seems like a few (<10) withdrawals were stuck. Some due to wallet/connections problems.

Most services worked without any problems.

We have a steady rising here. But dev here is absent, no info from him.

RibbitRewards is not a one-man show like most other coins. They are a whole team of over a dozen people. Their reward program is targeting the mainstream, which is probably the reason why they are absent here.

I had the chance to skype with them in December and we coordinated the launch of the coin together early this week.

Dear USDe community,

Our USDE/BTC market is currently lacking liquidity. Maybe you want to place a few sell orders. Higher profit margins possible than e.g. on Cryptsy.

Please have a look: https://www.swisscex.com/market/USDE_BTC
USDE/BTC (0.00001484 +1398.98%)
BID: 0.00000019 / ASK: 0.00001390
Low: 0.00000018 / High: 0.00001484

Do you know the old devs or how to contact them? This is dead youll run out of buy orders eventually

I am not aware that we have been in touch with the devs in the past 6 months (if ever).

It indeed happens that people buy at very high prices on such markets from time to time.

With this low overall volume it probably does not make sense to provide an alternative market to Cryptsy.

Best regards,

Kevin

Dear Darkcoin community,

We have recently redefined our strategy and in order to improve our service experience. We want to focus on building fewer but more suistanable markets with mature coins which hopefully offer long-term value for investors and reduce risks for our traders.

Currently we are looking for traders on our Darkcoin market and hope some people might be interested in bringing some liquidity to SWISSCEX. Especially long-term holders might be interested to leave some coins in the order book.

Soon we will celebrate our first anniversary, what makes us one of the older exchanges out there. We warmly invite you to have a look at our DRK/BTC market. If you have any questions regarding our exchange, please let us know.

Best regards,
