The winner of the poll. 16 SMC being halved every 6 months. I think the best thing after we reach a 1 SMC reward would be to switch to Proof of Stake.
The changes don't take very long. It's getting all of the wallets compiled and ready to go. The guy who builds the Windows wallets for me isn't responding at the moment, so I don't want to release anything without working wallets on both platforms.
16 SMC is the right way in my opinion. But we have to think about the 6 month halving. Even if we change to Proof of Stake after we hit 1 SMC... and this will be in 30 month!!!
After that we will have 20 million SMC.

There is really no need for a new poll. The 16 halving every 6 months is the best and safest option for the future of this brilliant coin!
Can´t you see the problem with the 6 month halving??? We will never reach the 52 million coins. We will only reach 20 million coins with this halving. BTC has a halving time of 4 years for a good reason.

I would suggest a decrease in half for reward paired with an increase length for block rewards:
example:
16 coins / 3 months
8 coins / 6 months
4 coins / 12 months
2 coins / 24 months
1 coin / 48 months
This will help bottle neck the high influx of coins for the short term while still preserving long term mining efforts.

I can´t understand why are they selling? We just saw a nice a steady rise to 1500 today - no pump. And right after that some greedy kids place their sell orders and drop the price down to 800 again. Guys! Please! Don´t be greedy and stop to think in short terms. Let SMC rise, be patient and you will gain more value over the time. Maybe you bought at 500 and you are happy to sell at 700... but this are only some dollar. Just hold your coins and you will see, we´ll back at 10,000 and much more very soon.
