That's true, 1 issue, when will someone actually do a proper fork and not greedy to f it up day 1. For this project I ain't mining something that has a full week of solo pre-mine.

Are developers not allowed to mine their own coin? Someone has to start running the chain.

I don't know who you are to make such accusations but I'm just not very active in here... Most of the time I'm not even logged in when checking the posts here.

I have been using the wallet and node for days now and my computer is fine. If you are too paranoid of malware, just a VM.

There is still a lot of development happening in Chia, this is just the beginning. Also keep in mind everything is currently down because we still are in a bear market. Chia still has really amazing tech and isn't IPO yet. So I don't think it is over yet.
