Anyone still buying new GPUs on here? What's the actual price you are buying lately? I heard rtx3080ti and 3070ti are in the way, would make lots of sense if there is a way to get for MSRP or not too far from MSRP, right now I expect GPU demand to be lower compare to past months or am I wrong?

Core 1500, Mem 2150, custom fan curve. Temps range from 48-52c, junction 58-60c.
I want to do the bios mod but I do game a few hours most days not sure if I can do that with lower voltage?
The other thing is if my card isnt running 170w+ then my hash goes to crap ie 29mh/s at 160w.
Basically atm I have to keep core around 1500 or it goes lower voltage and kills my hash.
Are you sure that's the exact power draw of a rx6800xt or you are telling us what your mining software is displaying? Get yourself a wattmeter and see the actual wattage that rx6800xt is pulling from wall because I can bet with you that it's more than 172wattCore 1500, Mem 2150, custom fan curve. That 172w is what Phoenixminer was saying, I know thats not the same as at the wall. Just tried bios mod finally got it to 625mv (didnt bother going lower).
So now it is 64.6mh/s and 137w in miner. I also tried changing ram speed but it wouldnt even do 2mhz more without crashing.
Pretty happy with the about 20% less power usage thou. Runs 5c cooler, should of done this much sooner.

I’ve been fiddling with the settings and have got 63. I’m using SMOS and it took me a while to realize that any memory clock setting above 1075 gets reverted back to 1000.
I’m not quite done tweaking but here is what I have so far:
Core: 1600
Men: 1060
Core Undervolt: 700
MVDD: 1300
MVDDCI: 900
This gives me 63 MH/s at 127 watts.

Where are you mining at? And what do you mean when you say profitability? Like your earnings (in LBRY) went up 1000%?
Just using NiceHash. And yes earnings went up like 10x for a period of time yesterday, however we are back to normal now.Rig working few hours,and then one of gpu lose mhs..example 55mhs to 0 mhs..and show like gpu is dead..!! I check risers one by one works well..stock gpu work some period and again on 0 mhs..undervoltage as well ..if i put 4 of them..then works without problem..
This happens when you either overclock or undervolt too much. Try dialing it back a bit on the GPU that is failing.I’ve got a few Baikal Giant B’s mining library. They are normally profiting about $2 a day each. However all of a sudden today the profitability jumped up to about $20+ a day. Anyone know why? Would be nice if it lasts but I’m guessing it won’t.
Assuming you are mining ETH, 1000 watts will be enough to power 5 x 5700 XT plus MB, CPU, etc. but only if you undervolt the GPUs. If you wanted to add more GPUs in the future you can get a little device called add2psu to connect the 1000w and 850w PSUs together. One thing to keep in mind though is that If you are using risers you need to power the riser and GPU from the same PSU.
