I don't think bitcoin has been classified as illegal, a secretive one though but I don't think its illegal. I haven't bought any illegal things using bitcoin too. Though there are black propagandas and scammers out there using bitcoins and cryptocurrencies in general. It's a matter of weighing the risk because obviously bitcoin is much more risky than the investments offered by banks.

In my own opinion, bitcoin plays a different set of rules. So I think we can not base how good it is by those categorize.

The down trade is quite disappointing. I almost gave up my full time job before seeing the increasing trend of bitcoins, luckily I didn't. Black market and illegal hackers plays a big reason why investors pull out their assets but we can only hope for the best. But I'm not a total risk taker so I'll just hodl and invest what I can afford to loose.

Only time can tell. But if that happens let's get ready to pay huge amount of taxes for the government will regulate everything about it.

I think all other countries are open to the fact to make cryptocurrency legal as long as it being monitored and being taxed. Which also create another issue because bitcoin's vision is be decentralized.

I don't really agree with declaring our crypto assets because I know that some governments would tend to manipulate it. The idea of bitcoin is having a decentralized transactions, and that's what we deserve to preserve.

I think the main reason for that is because they can not regulate bitcoin transactions. And as we all know, governments always want to exercise control over things and if they can not 100% regulate it, they would definitely consider it as illegal. I feel bad about this too.

Wow this is awesome to hear. Although prices now might now be so attractive but this is a milestone that we should celebrate. This only proves that the spirit of bitcoin and cryptos are not dying so we should not lose hope.

Well honestly, seeing the price go down day by day I really panicked, the numbers shows this is going to be a long game but I'm still hoping that it would be back to its soaring prices again. I think it would help if we see it as any other investments that have risks and see it as an opportunity to invest more since the prices is down, just make sure that you are willing to spend what you can afford to lose.

I think in a ratio there's only a quarter of people who are actually using cryptocurrency. I think if that happens it will take more than a decade for the world to be finally ready, right now financial experts still views it as a scam or not worth the risks kind of investment. Another reason why it would take so much time, maybe because most people in the third world countries are still not adaptable with the technologies that we have today.

I'm an investor and a hodler at the same time and I agree with you, hodling and trading in this market requires a brave heart. As the saying goes no pain, no gain. One effective technique that I've learned is never to invest all your eggs in one basket, having a different sets of coins in your portfolio can minimize the risks and there were also lots of good projects outside the top 100 list, you just have to be careful though.

I had some losses too from some altcoins, better to invest with top 50 on the market cap list but there's also lots of goodies outside the top 100 list of altcoins. I still think that btc is the strongest you can hodl, I strongly believe and hoping that crypto prices will recover soon

My country belongs to Southeast Asia, in my country bitcoin is still massively viewed as a scam. It is not consider as illegal to do legit bitcoin trading but I'm afraid legalizing it in my country will add to corruption issues, this is just my opinion
