TWIST Update - Nodes
Hey guys, we've released an infographic giving a concise explanation of TWIST Nodes. We are aiming to have Nodes fully functional in Q1 2019, however we intend to open node registration later this month. Further information will be released soon, including instructions on how to register a node (this functionality will likely be made available through the web-wallet).
Weve also contacted CoinMarketCap about getting our circulating supply updated so that our market cap displays properly. Stay tuned for further updates!

This is excellent news which should also put to rest some silly talks about the "team having disappeared" which have been popping up lately. One question to the team though: which is the reason of opening node registration months before the actual launch of the nodes? More: in what cosists exactly the "node registration"?
The reason we are opening the registration of nodes before they go live is for multiple reasons. Firstly, we are potentially considering a cap the maximum number of nodes available. People who are serious about owning a node and supporting the TWIST network therefore will have the opportunity to register and secure their position as a node owner before the cap is reached. Secondly, we are likely going to run testnets with beta versions of the nodes before the final nodes go live. In this case, registrants would be given the option to participate in the beta testing phase if they wanted to.
More info on node registration will be released soon - but it will very likely be made available as a feature in the web-wallet.

We have made another update to TWIST DATA!
You are now able to view all your saved passwords in a convenient table layout. Simply go to the TWIST DATA page in the Web Wallet and click on the 'Password View' button. This feature should help to make our TWIST DATA platform more viable and easy to use as a secure and decentralised password manager.

I have thought of wearing the Twist signature but to my disconcert I could not find it anywhere - it has been removed from the Twist bounty page. This is a quite silly mistake by the team, to make the signatures UNAVAILABLE for those who spontaneoudly decide they want to wear a TWIST signature. Please make them availabe again.

Hey guys, we are happy to announce that TWIST DATA has been updated to support shareable data transactions!
When adding data simply check the 'Shareable' option. Upon viewing the data you will be presented with a shareable link to the data. Anyone with the link can access the data so think carefully about who you give it to!

TWIST Update
Hey guys, this is just a short post to clarify the next phase of the TWIST project.
So in the short-term what can you expect from TWIST? The team will be releasing a couple of updates for TWIST DATA and the Web Wallet to introduce Shareable Data transactions and to improve the general user experience. We will also be releasing an informative and promotional video highlighting each of TWIST's unique features as well as the purpose behind needing TWIST nodes and their role within the TWIST ecosystem. Finally, towards the end of the month the TWIST team will be releasing the specifications and requirements for nodes, followed by the opening of registration for nodes.
Now that development has progressed a significant amount over the past 10 months, the team will also be putting more focus into marketing and raising awareness of the project. We will be running further bounty campaigns and we will also be looking to regularly attend blockchain conferences to build up and maintain professional networks and connections. Furthermore, we will be updating our website to better reflect all that we have accomplished so far, and to highlight all the existing and upcoming features that make the TWIST project unique.
Finally, the TWIST roadmap has been updated to reflect our current progress as we start the 4th quarter of 2018. Bring on an exciting few months for TWIST!

As we near the release of TWIST DATA scheduled for the end of Q3 the team have decided to write a brief article outlining the TWIST DATA feature.
We introduce a new facet of TWIST DATA which is the introduction of different UI experiences depending on the type of data you are submitting/viewing. This expands the breadth and enhances the usability of TWIST DATA, allowing it to compete with existing digital information utility tools such as password managers and contact books.

The big one is the change from the transaction (all coins from the input must be spent in every transaction). If you follow the chain you can see the coins return back to the bounty address

The TWIST Web Wallet now supports encrypted wallet file exporting/importing!
Using industry standard AES encryption techniques, you are now able to encrypt your wallet with a password when you export it, massively enhancing your security.
Further improvements to the Web Wallet will be coming soon so keep an eye out!

The TWIST Web Wallet and Toolbox has been released!
The team want to thank the community for their patience and understanding on the release of this deliverable. We had a few setbacks and delays, the most notable of which were needing to perform multiple server upgrades to handle increased traffic, and waiting for domain verification and approval from a SSL Certificate Authority. The wait is over however, and for the next few days the team will be working around the clock to further improve the user experience of the wallet and to combat any potential bugs raised by the community.
Moving forward, very shortly the team will be revamping segments of the roadmap, making it clear to the community what is in store for TWIST this quarter. (Hint: TWIST DATA is just around the corner )
