I think I know deep down that a cat is never needy.....they take what they can, and if they're not getting anything any more, they just leave - rather efficient actually, wish I was the same

i'll just carry on bribing her with food, treats.............. Grin

Try to avoid bringing back any atoms that exist in the future, as you will increase the mass of the universe in the past causing a paradox - The mass of the universe in the past will increase recursively and you will (without knowing it) destroy the universe.
Bear that in mind.
Though if this does happen it will be impossible as you could never have existed in the first place to embark on this time travel adventure.
Be safe.

thanks, my head now officially hurts  Grin

i don't think any of my skills in the modern day would serve me well in the middle ages or roman times  Sad

i teach dance to kids, dabble in wp plugin development and have done freelance journalism in the past.......can't see any of that being helpful

i can cook a mean curry  Grin but knowing my luck, back then the general populace's taste buds would not be accustomed to spices so I'd probably be tied to a stake and burnt alive for my 'witch-like poison peddling' aka chicken madras

I'm doomed!!  Cheesy

I read somewhere that cats rarely feel attached to the owner, but rather to the house. Cat goes where the food is and doesn't care who provides it, that's why people who steal cats and have no problems keeping them in their new home.

you've just broke my heart  Cry i wanted to carry on living in my little bubble where my cat actually loves me and not just my house

Re: Will mother get away with murder?

Clearly you don't understand mothers with severe mental health problems. If she was in her right mind I'm sure she would've done this, but those who are psychotic don't think with a rational mind..

completely right, mate...............there is no 'getting away with it' for the mother - she's living in her own prison already and probably has done for many years. I'm not saying we should all now sympathise, but this idea of getting away with anything is ridiculous

if you class British as 'white British' then no, I'm brown. Mother from Bangladesh, father from India - but I was born here, as in Britain

Is that good enough?

p.s and I do love tea

It's interesting how so many people complain about the U.S. when many other countries are way worse. Of course, that doesn't mean they're doing well, but it's the only place I see complains about.

I get the same living in Britain, everyone always whining. But I guess I realise that it's the whining that causes change. Enough people whine = change. Never been to the US, but I assume in general it's better to live there than most countries. Why? Because you guys are constantly whining!  Wink You have a country where you are free to whine (lots of people would live in fear of their lives if they badmouthed their respective countries). I'm convinced that Britain is a great place to live because we're a nation of moaners...............nothing more British than moaning (with a cup of tea in one hand)
