anyone can translate to english? So it will be posted in chinese

Yes, Lesoros, thank you. That translation is forthcoming. Creating initiatives for Earthcoin Greece is important because Greece suffered so terribly in the recession. We want to send a strong message that this is a critical place where the original fiat-based economy failed and people really paid the price. We are developing Earthcoin innovations to answer some of those local problems; other regional Earthcoin teams can point to Earthcoin Greece and develop Earthcoin projects to target local problems elsewhere.

I would like to remind the community that the Earthcoin Mission Group, which I developed, addresses the coin's highest priorities and original mission statement in terms of focusing this coin on real world sustainable development. It is established in the private forums of Earthcointalk.

As announced in the mid-August newsletter, I had to step back from comms to deal with IRL work. Cryptozark is handling comms at present.

More on EAC's vision and plans for mainstream adoption

https://earthcointalk.org/forums/topic/eac-strategy-the-road-to-mainstream-adoption/#post-7945

amhaggerty asked me if the Earthcoin Mission working group is a bitcoin project.

https://earthcointalk.org/groups/eac-mission-working-group/

I felt I should repeat my response here:

This is an earthcoin project. It was my idea, and the aim is to use this as one of the major points illustrating why an altcoin can operate in the sphere of mainstream adoption alongside bitcoin. I don’t believe that bitcoin is an inherently better coin. It has roots in the underground, and now a higher profile and more resources. But the underlying rationale for the coin is not necessarily one that answers the demands of this project. Ultimately, cryptos are social networks and communities with peer to peer capabilities, much more than they are simply types of digital money. I feel that all cryptocoins have an imperative to define a vision, and I’m not convinced that bitcoin’s drafted big minds have any monopoly on vision or will necessarily corner the ideas that make cryptos indispensable. If you look at the early history of computers, there were early contenders which, at the time, defined mainstream computing. You can mention their names now, and only tech history buffs have heard of them

It's dangerous, but I am filled with really solid trust for earthcoin. Usually I always feel the risk when buying any cryptocurrency, even the ones I believe in. But now I feel that at the current price there's no way of losing value. Interested to see what the hyped changes are, but I wish they will not change the algo - We have found a steady price and survived for many, many months at 3-15 sats - Which other altcoin has managed that? It tells me that people have already adobted and accepted earthcoin.

I will start providing personal training services to people for EAC soon, and at some point I will start the explore the earth-blog I talked about earlier.

I will quote this post next year at the same time. Laugh at me now - I think I will just slightly smile to you then Smiley

What personal training services to people for EAC do you mean? Earth blog? There is a blog on Earthcointalk, it needs bloggers.

I told a new member of the community to consider what cryptos are and what Earthcoin stands for.

Earthcoin is expanding the images and materials we use to reach people in different regions of the world. We made a call for regional designs, elemental logos, projects reflecting local cultural lore of our planet on deviantART: http://earthcoin.deviantart.com/journal/Earthcoin-s-Regional-Designs-468613130

Our logos are in English and we would like to reach other cultures: http://getearthcoin.com/eac_marketing.html

If you have visual ideas or graphic designs that you want to contribute: please submit them to the EarthcoinGroup at deviantART: http://earthcoingroup.deviantart.com/

Wait..you gotta login to that exchange with a facebook account  Huh

Screw that..never use the shit & never will.

Once again, if you want to support this effort but don't want to vote, you can send some BTC (it takes 0.01 BTC to vote, but you can send less) to our donation pot and we will vote for you. If you donate please send me an email, tell me how many satoshis you sent and your EAC address - earthcoin@earthcointalk.org - and we will send you an EAC500 tip for helping the coin out.

EAC has risen to first place in alts considered for listing on BTC38! Please vote the coin up.

http://www.btc38.com/trade/vote_for_trade_en.html

Thanks TamB, I would like to stress how important it is for everyone to vote for this exchange. This will let us get into the Asian market in a big way and could really help promote EAC. This exchange will introduce Earthcoin to many new investors that may have never heard of EAC.

There is a minimum amount of trading that is required to vote from your btc38 account, approximately .42 BTC. Join up, deposit and trade .42BTC for CNY, and immediately trade the CNY back to BTC and withdraw it. This will allow you to vote. If everyone that is able spends just .01 BTC voting (as I have) we will be added to the site.

Mintpal will be next Wink

We sent up a BTC donation pot for those who have a few satoshis to contribute to this effort to get EAC accepted on BTC38 but perhaps don't want to vote; you'll get an EAC tip for your support! Details: https://earthcointalk.org/forums/topic/please-vote-for-eac-on-btc38/#post-7585

FYI, we have a winner in the name Earthcoin's smallest denomination contest - he's been contacted to receive his EAC 700K.

The satoshi equivalent for EAC will be 'grain.' So 0.00000001 EAC = 1 Grain.

As you may know, a 'grain' was an ancient measurement, based on a grain of wheat, for denoting the smallest part of a troy ounce of gold and other systems for weighing gold.

I see your reason to invent the name for the smallest unit of Earthcoin. I see your reason not to use Satoshi for that. The only thing I can't understand is why you picked another coins name? Yes, this word is not registered tm or whatever, but it is already used by the Grain Coin longer than Earthcoin blockchain exist.

Yes, we know that. The community nominated that name, among others, and the community voted for this name; so we accepted it.
