Users should not forget to make backups, whether they are backing up a hardware wallet seed phrase, private keys or even paper wallets. You have to have multiple copies in safe places.

do not worry! if you consider investing in bitcoin for a long time, then in any case, the price of bitcoin in a few years will be very expensive! the price of bitcoin already within a year - can rise to a minimum of 40,000 dollars!

I'm also bullish and think although you bought at ATH this will not matter as in the long run you will still make a big profit if you HODL.

Yes ofcourse it can be another payment method in the future, actually i believe there will be more than one Smiley The Bitcoin becoming the new worlds payments system and it has just started. The world will love the system i believe and will use it, all over the world. But in 2050 there will be many more i am quite sure of it..

It's a very interesting food for thoughts to imagine what money systems could look like in 30 years time in the future.... I'm sure it will be surprising and very interesting!

Re: Bitcoin Wallet Blockchain Says It’s Adding 50k Users Per Day

If these fugures are correct then this sounds excellent. Still you have to have in mind that this is just the number of open accounts, not actual users, so these two numbers might vary. Also, not of all these open accounts will be actualy used.
Another thing is that both Blockchain and Coinbase are making the promotion of their business and services so take this statistics with some reserve.

I would think an account is equal to one user since they most likely don't allow to have multiple accounts and require identification...

This shows people are still entering Crypto despite the bad news and bear market. From this we can understand that the bear market is nothing but much of FUD to get weak hands to backing down. Just stick to your aspiration and keep faith with bitcoin, when the enemies are tired, market will pick up.

This news is from Dec. 10, 2017, 8:30 AM so from the peak of the hype not now, maybe it's 500 now....

Maybe a biometric technology to identify you as an account holder?
Some banks already have it now allowing you access after the system has learned  how to recognize your voice.

I do not think anyone can walk 34 km. This is a far cry. Are your feet firm enough to walk so long? But if this is true, I think your father has a very good health, toughness. Take care of your dad, to enjoy more.

You certainly can walk that far, where I am from they do an annual walk of 28 miles for charity. It takes some just 6 hours to complete.

Sounds about right 5miles / hour. I walk frequently about 8 miles at least twice a month.

Re: Technology and life

The tech that changed the world around us goes back in time more than 30 years...

1. The Plow
Prior to the plow, humans were subsistence farmers or hunter/gatherers. Their lives were devoted solely to finding enough food to survive from one season to the next. Growing food added some stability to life, but doing it by hand was labor intensive and took a long time. The plow changed all that.
Plows made the work easier and faster. Improvements in the plow's design made farming so efficient that people could harvest far more food than they needed to survive. They could trade the surplus for goods or services. And if you could get food by trading, then you could devote your day-to-day existence to something other than growing food, such as producing the goods and services that were suddenly in demand.

2. Wheel
Another ancient invention. The oldest wheel and axle mechanism we've found was near Ljubljana, Slovenia, and dates to roughly 3100 B.C.

3. Printing Press
The printing press allowed enormous quantities of information to be recorded and spread throughout the world.

4. Refrigeration
The ability to keep food cold for prolonged periods (and even during shipping, once refrigerated trucks were developed) drastically changed the food production industry and the eating habits of people around the world.

5. Communications
These developments in communications technology effectively shrank the world. In the span of about 120 years, we went from a world where it might take weeks to hear news from across the country to one where we can watch events occurring on the other side of the globe as they happen.

6. Steam Engine
While the steam engine has been eclipsed by electric and internal combustion engines in the areas of transport and factory power, they're still incredibly important. Most power plants in the world actually generate electricity using steam turbines, whether the steam is heated by burning coal, natural gas or a nuclear reactor.

7. Automobile
The automobile's effect on commerce, society and culture is hard to overestimate.

8. Lightbulb
Infrastructure that was built to provide electricity to every home and business changed the world.

9. Computer

10. Internet

Why is it illegal in many countries to spank a child if it's so beneficial and good according to you?
