Re: Is public data helpful to AI and DeFi

So many buzzwords right there, I'm sure if the average people are reading this they'd have no idea wtf is even the purpose of the project.

This is the problem with so many new projects, they used so many buzzwords that instead of making average people understand, they just blurred the real purpose of the project making people not interested.
Morever, I think there are already plenty of decentralized data infrastructure projects.

Hey, what happened here? There’s an ongoing dump on this token. 99.2% dumped on the price is just too much. Are the team dumping their shares? There has to be an explanation for this; the project looks and is backed by big platforms.
The price right now is a good entry point, but we need to know what caused the dump.

Things like this make me realize that there are certain project that better off becoming SaaS instead of getting deployed on the blockchains Grin.
Honestly I find the concept to be interesting but the need for a token to existing is such a huge turn off. They better off settle with subscription model for these kind of project.

Re: What If DeFi Fully Migrated to Bitcoin Layer 1?
by

L2 already exist for that, truth is if you migrate such thing to bitcoin blockchain, the blockchain will be spammed heavily like how ordinals played out.

On the other hand you got L2 that was created to handle such thing and help smart contract to integrate to bitcoin.
Bitcoin's blockchain is already perfect as it is.

Re: Do altcoin season wants to have their special cycle?
by
TastyChillySauce00
on 12/07/2025, 02:26:11 UTC
People rotate out of Bitcoin into Altcoins when they think Bitcoin is heating up & close to a top. It’s almost like you get the best of both worlds. Ride the Bitcoin wave of fomo & rotate into Altcoins to catch Altseason, take profits there, before the whole cycle comes to an end. We are not in Altseason yet, it will be later this year.
That's how it works usually when bitcoin dominance is reducing.
However we also need to remember that there are some institutional investors that aren't rotating to altcoin and the fact that altcoin is already too diluted doesn't help either.

So expect there to be some of altcoins that doesn't pump. Mainly the ones with low trading volume because the market just don't care.

Re: What’s your take on Ethereum ecosystem ?
by
TastyChillySauce00
on 12/07/2025, 02:21:09 UTC
Ethereum is the second oldest coin and that's why it's still the second highest in price. However, Ethereum have failed to meet up with its gradual price increase overtime, because of the high gas fee which has made people dump Ethereum for a similar coin with lower gas fee. Whatever shitcoin that is produced on Ethereum network remains a shitcoin and I haven't seen anything special about the upgrade of the network.

It's not just about gas fees, but also about scalability. When they have a large number of orders, they become congested and increase fees irrationally. This is frustrating for many users, especially when the network is heavily hyped for a project that makes the network busy.

L2 solutions seem to be merely alternatives and are merely additional tools. Most L2s that have been built appear to be very weak and have little competitiveness with other networks like Solana and SUI, as well as other new challengers. Furthermore, Ethereum's management has previously experienced some issues, resulting in a loss of trust from the community. Hopefully, Vitalik's proposed upgrade will be useful.

It's important to remember that making money in the Ethereum ecosystem involves exploiting yield, restaking, and restaking, and it continues like this, until at some point you become exhausted and prefer to hold Bitcoin.
Unfortunately it seems ETH will still prioritize L2 roll ups and so far there's no promising solution to the scalability problem on the L1.
Even recent upgrade is all about improving UX and making L2 better.

I guess we won't ever see ETH mainnet having fee as cheap as solana and the others.

Re: Tether to wind down USD₮ support on five legacy blockchains

I guess they want to allocate resources to hype blockchain like solana and sui where the total stablecoin in the blockchain has been increasing dramatically in this past few months.

I even rarely see any cex that accepts deposit and withdrawal of USDT to these blockchains nowadays so it's fair I guess.

Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1)
by
TastyChillySauce00
on 11/07/2025, 18:22:24 UTC
When I saw PSG's pattern of play against Madrid I felt they would dominate Ligue 1 again. I see their pattern of play is not yet owned by many Ligue 1 teams. Then the gap in players seems to be the deciding factor. Many star players are at PSG, they have long built a TEAM with big money. So their process is visible this year. It seems that they also continue to hunt for new players to add strength next season.  The Enrique factor is also decisive, he can make PSG play more collectively imitating the Barcelona style.

The outright odds is forecasting the winner of the league. You get PSG who being valued 1.12 and look at how massive their gap compared to the Monaco 13.00. It explains how they will be fully owning the league next season. French league is just a toy being played by an adult next season.

Betting on them to win the league has to be one of easiest task to be done, though the odds is not even tempting.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Mbappe left PSG to win the Champions League title. But what is strange, after Mbappe left the team,  PSG won all the platform titles they played in. Mainly the Champions League title. On the other hand, Mbappe could not win a single title. Even in the match against PSG, Real Madrid lost 4-0. It was a awful season for Mbappe.
It simples man, having Mbappe in PSG's squad made them looked like a Mbappe centric, everything and anytime is about Mbappe. Meanwhile the paradigm of PSG's ball totally changed once he left. They're rebuilding back what we called as a club. A team that has team working, chemistry, passion in winning, and collective gameplay. They're not a Mbappe centric anymore. That's the point.

Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions

Elang to Newcastle. A bit surprised to see this move as i rarely heard them linked to the NuFC. I rated this as a good move as Elanga is a good winger, and consistently perform in any season. Sad for Forest to lose him, though have Bakayoko as his potential replacement. That's because Bakayoko is not as good as him.
I believe losing Elanga to the NuFC is a big blow.

I have nothing to expect from Nottingham Forest next season as they lose their key players last season. Finishing at mid must be their best target. I also consider they overachieved if they do it next season.
Elang is a very good signing for Newcastle. He happens to be one of the top young talents in the league last season. Newcastle United were one of the underdogs last season and I’m confident they will cause more problems with Elanga on their side next season.
I hope so. He has been so talented as a winger, but wondering none of big clubs wanted him. His move to the Newcastle is the best. Interestingly he becomes the second most expensive signiings by Newcastle. I can't wait to see his debut on his new club. Props to the newcastle's talent recruiter.

Re: 98% of Solana Pump.fun Tokens Are Scams.

on 11/07/2025, 05:43:58 UTC
Yes every cryptocurrency wave comes with it own unique scams,.just as we experience it during the ICO, IEO and metaverse, eras all witnessed alot of scam, fraudulent projects all flowing with the hype's to get hands on the hard earn investment of gullible investors, so not only.emecoins I agree with you, cryptocurrency space have been plague with so much scams since cryptocurrency market is highly technical and volatile with many investors getting carried away with the hypes and promises of high returns for their investments with promise short term returns.
The meme coin scams are different, they are getting deployed by every second whereas ICO at the very least not being deployed that often.

It's happening in obviously larger scale and more frequent too, on the other hand the IEO scene are being tightly regulated right now and there's complicated selection process.

Re: Bitcoin Hits New ATH — What’s Next for Altcoins?
by

on 11/07/2025, 05:41:26 UTC
With current market I'd be fixated on BTC dominance and see if there's something big going to happen.

As of now it seems inflow going to ethereum heavily, possibly because people sees it as hugely underrated and try to position themselves.
I'd expect the biggest altcoin that are top 10 to have good time in the future, as for the rest with micro market cap, I don't really know.

To be honest, I won't use ETH/BTC chart because as we know BTC is too strong in this cycle.

Definitely convert it to BTC, you can rebuy monero anytime anyway but BTC is the most high performing crypto up till now even keep breaking all time high right now.

As of now i'm speaking 100% of people are in profit since the price is breaking ATH.
We're talking about profit here so conversion is definitely the better choice.

Re: PUMPfun token PUMP presale, your view..

They are doing presale at 4B FDV which is pretty crazy to me, even doing 2x already need 4B FDV growth, I hardly see that happening unless there's ultra hype going on.

Moreover their revenue means nothing since there's no buyback, nothing, if you think it's gonna be hyperliquid kind of success, I think that won't happen but we'll see.
The stark difference is that team getting all the revenue while hyperliquid is buying back their tokens, add it into vault, etc.

It won't be easy for Ten Hag because several players have left the team which will certainly impact Leverkusen's performance next season, Ten Hag's failure at Man United will certainly always be remembered and that is what causes many doubts now for Ten Hag, I am the same, I doubt that Ten Hag can continue Xabi Alonso's work.
There's no also guarantee for the available players of Leverkusen can fit Ten Hag's strategy well. So, this obvious he must be building back Leverkusen in the way he wanted. Only hope Leverkusen to provide his whitelisting players such as Antony. Still hope to see goat to join them.
The only thing that you must remember is that the different coach, different approach. This is obvious Ten Hag won't be working in the same frame work as Alonso did.

Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2024/25
by
TastyChillySauce00
on 10/07/2025, 08:17:04 UTC
Real Madrid Football Club is currently playing in the FIFA Club World Cup and they feel that the players were not given the necessary rest period after the tournament, so we can see that La Liga did not decide to postpone their first match, meaning that the Spanish capital club's request was not granted. If this team is able to reach the final of the Club World Cup tournament, they may have a few days to start their La Liga season, i.e. their pre-season. Anyway putting everything aside, I think so now they should just prepare well for the semi-final against the Parisian in New Jersey. We will see Mbappe face his former team tonight and his former team is still flawless in this FIFA Club World Cup tournament.

Fair enough. La Liga refuses to give them special treatment while at the same time they earn millions from participated in the CWC. So, La Liga has acted wisely, and Real has to think even harder about how to rested their players. The good thing is that they already eliminated early. There's enough time for his squad to take rest.

Thanks PSG. Easy money from betting on them. I've predicted them to confidently winning the game against Madrid after i saw how bad Madrid's line up. They successfully screwed Madrid's CB, and surprised me when Madrid played with only two midfielders against them.
They can easily expose Madrid's defence because of how shitty Madrid defence is. Cool Cool Cool

As for Madrid, their line up is way too unbalanced, and only focus in attacking without caring more in their mid, and defense. This proves how Xabi still lacks of exp in managing them. I'd prefer them to signed Zidane instead of him.
Arda disappear in this game. Rudiger is finished as defender. There too many individual mistake from them.
I didn't expect PSG to win easily in the semifinal against Real Madrid. PSG played exceptionally well in this match.

The odds of 2.36 initially seemed quite tempting, but unfortunately, I didn't dare bet on a PSG win because I thought Real Madrid would do better in the semifinal, but it turned out not to be the case. Xabi Alonso couldn't do anything to stop PSG's impressive performance, which continues to this day.

Whatever happens, we can't overstate the fact that Xabi Alonso has failed. I don't think so until they truly prove themselves in La Liga next season, especially since Xabi Alonso is still a new Real Madrid manager, so he still needs time to build chemistry within the team and players.

And PSG will play in the final against Chelsea. Given PSG's relatively easy and impressive journey in defeating their opponents to reach the final, I'm quite confident that PSG will win the Club World Cup this season; they deserve it.
This result tells us about how Xabi's team may not be working in UCL next season. There're too many loopholes in his squad especially in the defence. His team is only a team with so many superstars, but no team work showed in this game. Also this confirms how 433 will never suit his team well. Only hope he learn from the result.
Still one month to go for Xabi to solve all of his club problems. He has a lot of works to do especially in reforming his midfielder and defend.

I dunno whether one month if enough for him to do that. Madrid must give him all of his wishlist, and replacing some washed defenders has to be his main job to be done first.

If these CEO can be paid in bitcoin this means in japan crypto salary is viable and the regulation already allows them to do so which is a great news.
Things like this need to be adopted by other crypto company to boost adoption and to give good example.

If any company is truly bullish with bitcoin, they would've given this option from a long time ago.

I see the chart and find it completely normal if you see how aggressive some of the exchange in top 5 in doing their marketing.
Bybit has been having pretty good user growth so far and bitget is doing fine as well. Both of these exchange always push their volume with various incentives such as token splash and so on.

In a nutshell there's nothing wrong with it.

Re: What’s your take on Ethereum ecosystem ?
by
TastyChillySauce00
on 10/07/2025, 04:46:21 UTC
Do upgrades to the ecosystem really matter much when the fees are so high most people cannot affordably use ETH or any of the tokens?
So far there's no significant upgrade that can solve the fee, their only solution is to use rollups on the layer 2.
If you see the average gas prices on etherscan you'd find out occasionally the gas spiked to 10 - 20 gwei which is very bad.

Personally from my opinion, beside UX improvement there's nothing significant with the upgrade.

Re: People still mine litecoin?
by
TastyChillySauce00
on 10/07/2025, 04:29:08 UTC
If it becomes sufficiently unprofitable to mine LTC does it just die? I mean, does the chain just stop producing blocks? I thought there was difficulty adjustments to make up for stuff like this.
The difficulty will adjust as people stop mining and the rest of people who still mines gonna get better rewards.
It works more or less the same as bitcoin in regard of difficulty adjustment maybe with some difference in adjustment interval and block time.
