How is everyone getting on with harvesting?
Im on delegated harvesting, but havnt harvested any NEM since i started on the 1st of april.
Only one block was harvested and no NEM was in it.
Has anyone else had the same results? i have 2.25 million XEM

With the full 2.5mill XEM I've harvested one block with no reward.

I know it's not a huge, pressing issue right now - but is there a reason why the NEM logo is very low resolution when compared with the rest of the client?

It's a very bad idea to be messing with private keys or accessing any crypto on a public network.. Try to avoided that at if possible.

Just checked - that port is closed. Looks like I can't run NCC on my university WiFi then... -_-
You can run the software. It just means you are not fully supporting the network. Or do you experience problems sending or receiving transactions?
Yes I do... I've been sent test NEM and nothing has arrived.
Will you be able to make the 3 week deadline?
I can generate real addresses, so I can still receive the NEM can't I? So long as I have access to and store those keys. I just won't necessarily be able to access it on this WiFi...

Public, it's the university WiFi. You need a login to access it.

TauMuon, it depends on the browser too. Chrome is the fastest browser. Try it with chrome.
I use Chrome. Must be my machine.
Also, my local node isn't booting. The yellow bar complaining is perpetually there. Any ideas why that might happen? I'm using public WiFi (the type where you have to login with an account), could that be the issue?

It could happen on the same day that you get struck by lightning, win the lottery, get hit by a neutrino, and have your body ripped apart encountering dark matter.
I thought we get hit by neutrinos constantly it's just that noone notices ? They even had a hard time building a detector for those little buggers.
Yeah you're right. I think about 100 trillion neutrinos pass through your body each second, they just interact very very weakly with matter... As analogies go, that one failed catastrophically
Very quickly doing the maths: each private key is 66 characters long, each entry can be 1 of 36 characters. The total possible number of private keys is therefore 3666 which is a staggeringly huge number; 5.2 x 10102. The likelihood of someone generating the same private key as you is vanishingly small - small enough to treat as 0.

Enjoying the alpha, I haven't had any real issues, so great work.
I am curious to know what the development roadmap is though? The brief one given on page 1 is very vague.
I would like to know what fixes / features / improvements are planned in the next week / month / quarter etc.

This logo is by no means final. We just needed to get a logo out quickly in time for the alpha and various other things.
If you want a logo vote, then organise one. There is nothing stopping you.
