Hello everyone and welcome to the TAXI COIN community!

We the devs are very excited to see where TAXI COIN will head with your support and interest. We have been working since launch to resolve issues we faced with the offical pool and source hence the delay in getting this posted, our apologies.

First off we wanted to address the launch issues we faced.

1 - WE DID NOT PREMINE THIS COIN.

2 - We had a critical error with our pool operators (thecryptonians.com) on launch. We did not start solo-mining, we were working on fixing the pool from the second we saw the issue. All our tests on the pool were perfect but when we went live it was a dud. We do however recognize that yes, someone was mining soon after we launched our source live on Github. For anyone who was watching you know it was very very small amount of KHS (cpu mining presumably) for the first hour and a bit before the pool was fixed. In total we are talking about a very small amount of TAXI, which grows smaller (proportionally) every day.

3 - We did not make this coin to pump and dump. The intention of the coin is to open up TAXI and transportation to cryptocurrency not to get on an exchange to be pumped then dumped.

- Exchanges -

We are very interested in getting TAXI COIN [TAXI] listed on good exchanges. We are presently trying to get it listed on www.coinup.com as our first exchange. We haven't rushed to get it listed on launch because we want to make sure that the support, community, and intention of the coin is clear and established before it is listed and speculation abounds. Now that we are gaining momentum and the team is energized and modivated we are looking forward to engaging the community and trying to get TAXI listed at a reputable exchange within the near future.

- Partnerships -

Currently we have a relationship with our pool operators and a few other individuals who have helped us in our effort to get the coin live.

The TAXI COIN team are looking to collaborate with developers, artists, engineers, Taxi drivers, drivers of all kinds, software companies, and just about anyone who is interested in using TAXI COIN or learning more about it.

  Offical pool (taxi.thecryptonians.com) collects 2% fees and 1% of that is intented to go towards bounties and faucets. The faucets should be up really soon. We are open to suggestions for new bounties please let us know. For now we have a few to get us started.

1 - Explorer   - We are looking for someone to build an explorer for TAXI COIN.
2 - Marketing  - We are intersted in paying some people to help with promotion for TAXI COIN - link backs, twitter,
3 - Mobile App - At the most basic level we are looking for a working mobile wallet app on iOS and Android. Beyond that we are open to hearing ideas on anything you can dream up and execute for taxicoin.
4 - Wallets - Bounties are always earmarked for refinement of the existing wallets, or development of wallets within reason.

We would also like to stress that bounties are in many cases placed in addition to our existing development of TAXICOIN and are meant to help stimulate the TAXICOIN Ecosystem, not to "do our work for us".

50% of TAXICOINS will be mined in 8 months, During these 8 months the block reward is reduced 3 times, starting at 250, then 125, next 65, and finally 35. The remaining 50% of TAXICOINS will be mined in 12 years, with a block reward reduction every 350,000 blocks (1 year), starting at 20 and reducing by 25%.

SuperBlocks:

There will be superblocks 3 times a day for a 2 week period before and after every block reward reduction, and during the beginning of the coin. The closer to the halving block, the greater the superblock multiplier is, starting at 1x all the way to 18x, and conversely, the further the block halving gets the lesser the superblock multiplier.

Difficulty Retarget: 6 hours

The Windows wallet we ran into something of a snag with, but it is forthcoming for sure. Everything else seems to have sorted out. For now we have a bounty on it, so if someone manages to compile a windows wallet before us we would then obviously pay that out (or Mac, for that matter).

Don't worry, we learned the lessons of Maxcoin well.

I would imagine you could convert your breadcoins to milkcoins, or perhaps convert your trollcoins for whatever you wanted!
