Staking is a way that Marlin Network uses to protect its platform. The presence of validators and stakers all work together to ensure that the Marlin Network works efficiently. Users are encouraged to stake because of this season and more. Staking offers both stakers and validators access to perks, as they earn for their services. For community members that want to stake, this will show you how to go about the process.



Understanding the User Interface
Every staking activity on Marlin Network occurs at https://app.marlin.pro/relay/operator. Once clicked, it takes you to the Operator tab, where you can see a number of Cluster Operators that you can easily delegate your (M)Pond.
For those users that want to become a Cluster Operator, they can use the Register tab. Before a cluster can run on the network, it needs a delegation of at least 0.5 MPond. Those that want to operate a cluster should reach out to Marlin directly for more information.

When the user logs in to an address that is linked to a Cluster Operation, the registration page immediately moves to an update page, allowing the user to alter the on-chain parameters of the cluster.

When you click on the Delegate Tab, your previous delegation pop out, and you are allowed to update them or create brand new ones. This is an alternative method, if you do not want to use the Cluster Operator page.

How to link your wallet?
The link process can be done by clicking the Connect Wallet button, which is seated at the right top. At the moment, Marlin Network only supports WalletConnect and Metamask, though it may change as time goes by. Those users with hardware wallets can connect through Metamask by clicking on the Connect with Hardware Wallet feature.
Before a user can utilize the staking platform, they have to be on the Ethereum Mainnet Network.
Immediately it has been linked, the user can see this at the spot, where the Connect Wallet button once existed. Apart from the aforementioned, the wallet at the left side will show the linked account's POND and MPond balance.
The wallet will possess two tabs, which are the Cluster and Delegator. At the Delegator side, the user can see aggregate details linked to the address that is linked, as long as it delegates (M)Pond to clusters.

On the Cluster tab, the user can see details about the delegation to the cluster, as long as he or she is logged in. In the case that the same address is both a cluster operator and a delegator, the varying details can be seen.
