How do you plan on competing with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Steemit, etc., etc?

I think ethereum is the best altcoin in the terms of its stable price situation and good innovative ways. In my opinion, it is maybe the only coin (for now) to be a real competitor of the bitcoin.
Agree on 100%. Because all its competitors are very heavily raised and falling in price, and this coin is really very strong and I think that it even has a chance to become the first cryptocurrency.

Currently with PoW, Ethereum supply is indeed infinite and growing quickly but the coin might evolve during the year to become a PoS coin.

This would change a lot of things, and I'm interested to see to where the price will be driven. I think a lot of users likes ETH because of its mining profitability, so where all these miners will come once ETH will be switched ?

It's trying to compete with Ethereum but WAVES NG already took care of that. Its tech is Blockchain 3.0.
What does it take to influence the market of an altcoin? Buying a big amount of the total circulating supply from 1 exchange wouldn't work right? Or does the price go up while buying that big amount? To get that to happen the exchanges would have to look at eachothers prices right?
It's all supply and demand.
When demand goes up but supply goes down, price goes up.
So, yes, whales can manipulate the price of any coin just by buying lots of it.
But they then have to purchase the coin from different exchanges right? Or do all exchanges share the same exact price? Last time I checked they had slight differences.
It depends on the coin but, yes, they can vary in price based on the exchange its on.
The ethereum is one of the most stable coins. There is a brand. There is Vitaliy Buterin, who is promoting his project. A strong team of developers, who constantly works on improving the project. And all the ICO are on the platform of the ERC-20. All this speaks about the perspective of the etherium.

Ethereum is a very good cryptocurrency, its price is slowly rising year by year.
But as it rise the more transaction is being performed and the heigher the fees. But it still ok, it is just a part of improving the capabilities of ethereum. Just like what happen to bitcoin, it will surpass all the problems.
So just invest in it, trust it, be patient and make profit.
