Hey Tom, would you please join Discord? We have some questions especially on the wallet. Thanks!
Lets stop. Its dead and finished. The thread we are in shall now be closed to deter further misunderstanding that people may exhibit in response to more responses that build up here. If u guys crave another jawn bunny fuck coin to tuck ur money in, I can assure u that I am in the process of replacing Tom as a lead soul to curate the project thread we are presently in.

Looks like there are a few miners left, must be really profitable to mine right now as the hashrate is extremely low
Hey Crypto community! Since coin is constantly developing, some people from community made great progress in gaming. You are now able to play Poker with BitcoinZ coins!
Hi, According to Ethereum developer Afri Schoedon, Ethereum Classic and Ethereum are now 100% interoperable and both blockchains have reached protocol parity. What does the future of ETC look like? Will many investors invest in ETC because ETC is currently cheap and fast compared to ETH? what is your price forecast for ETC in the next few years?
What do you mean interoperable?
What do you think the future looks like for ETC?
I mean of course ETC is decentralized like BTC so more stable and changes happen slower.

Re: PhoenixMiner 4.8c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux)
I've just edited original post - added GitHub link.
hello, im a little confused on your posting in this thread you say the algo is equihash and yet mining pools such as https://equipool.1ds.us/getting_started says equihash 200,9
if i rent a miner that mines equihash will i be able to mine this coin?
BrazilmanBTC
That is a good question. Have you tried mining with Equipool and 200,9 algo?
VOT has been going up lately, I wonder what is happening. It was at 550 SAT a couple of years ago, I can see that level happening again very quickly.
Sup guys. Zel made ~5x in last couple of weeks in BTC. And almost reached the last year's ATH in USD. What could be the reason of this rise? Looks kinda miraculous.
Binance CEO announced partnership with ZEL.
Doesn't he partner with 2500 crypto projects? Whats so special about his deal with Zel?
Not until we start seeing crypto scammers get arrested for real many new investors won't join,I have friends that won't join crypto because of scammers running away with ICO funds forever ,no way to arrest them and get the funds out of them, the few news I read about getting some scammers is not enough ,the more there is an effective way the less scammers will harm crypto
What about @Zooko who is milking all the ZCASH fork projects and creating free coins in each and selling them down to zero? BTCZ, BZE, VOT, HUSH, ZCL, BTCP all being sold off to zero satoshi.
Don't forget: it is very important to spread the hash power all over our network.
Are you planning on implementing Sapling?
We have sapling since March
GReat.
How about an Android copay wallet ? Maybe fork BTCz wallet?
Thanks for you suggestion. BZEdge is already present on ZelCore and VidulumApp. SnowGem's ModernWallet mobile version is coming soon. BZE has plenty of support on mobile.
Nothing replaces an official dedicated wallet backed by the dev team who will brand it and slowly move it towards a useful payment system.
ZelCore: Where do I scan a private key in? I cant. How do I add my existing wallet with 24 words? I cant. Where is my private key? Stored on their servers and supposedly encrypted until we find out maybe not very good encryption?
We make recommendations that would make the project better. Copay wallet that BTCz team forked to create their branded wallet is open source and proven to be trusted. The private keys are ONLY on the local device.
You can not import a private key in ZelCore, indeed. But let me clarify a few things: - zelcore doesnt hold your private keys - vidulum doesnt hold your private keys
You dont import a wallet using 24 word... you generate one from those words. Zelcore generates it from username+password. Vidulum generates It from username+password+pin.
While any suggestion is appreciated dont spread fake rumors. We audited zelcore and it doesnt send any data outside the local storage. You can use the username and password on any device. You still get the same account without a central server.
Thank you for your notes on Zelcore App. I am glad you have looked into the code and the private keys stay local to the device.
I still don't agree with not having a branded wallet but again I am not the developer on this project. A branded wallet will become the starting point of adoption where people could use the app to send value to each other. I know many other crypto try to do that but they are all doing it wrong. Venmo does it right and in one month gets 100M users. Why? Because they do it right. The US Bank Chase app does it wrong and no one uses its Zelle format. The devil is in the details. If you app is written very very carefully with specific options and buttons in the app.

Re: [ANN][VOT]: VoteCoin - a new era of anonymous crypto democracy
Just a note on ASIC algo change, Tom has said previously its in VOTs interest to have all the vots issued, for a coin like votecoin to realise its potential its better to have as much issued into the market as possible, this will find the real value of the coin and marketing will do a lot more because he doesnt want to do the eventual marketing push as a mineable coin, that should be an afterthought, he wants the final stage to be marketing and exchanges based on what the coin can do, he does share the frustrations of having limited exchanges but he is really anti hype, he wont announce things till its done.
VOT used to trade at 550 Satoshis when Bitcoin was $18000. Bitcoin is now $9000 and has lost 50% of its value. VOT is now 7 Satoshis so it has lost over 98% of its value. So obviously Ton is a genius coder and terrible business person. The ASICs have nearly destroyed this unique project since they only mine-n-dump to pay off their stupid bricks which will never even pay themselves off. GPU miners tend to be more cool and techie and hold and speculate.
The ASIC issue is more of an EMERGENCY matter at this time. It needs his attention the most.
