Hi unfortunately yes because you will never know the value of your coin you choose. Once we choose to think for investment, risk is always with it. If the coin you invest has losing value then the only way you can do is to wait when will go up or else revert the investment. But if the coin you invest is growing, then 100% sure you will earn.

Long-term investments in crypto can be a good idea, however it can be very risky, because it is volatile, and is very unpredictable. The best thing to do is to check for the  project plan, history of the company, do research, choose the best coin, and do be fooled by wrong info. Don't be a victim, be a victor and a survivor.

We are going down since the end of january because of too much up last year and mnay fud makes investor take their money from crypto to fiat or othet instrument. the price movement of crypto is unpredictable so this makes the market unstable and I think we should be able to accept more wisely. here there are only 2 stable altcoin for me and it is a lite coin and ethereum coin but for me, Ethereum coin is the best because its value is still increasing and growing. Ethereum is the best investment choice to do.

For me the primary criteria is to look at the exchange and the market cap before investing in any coin. If I find any new coin on exchange like Binance, I study it throughly and then decide whether to invest in it or not. My decision involves two main factors. First is to see in which phase the coin is. Is it growing, matured, or in declining phase. I stay away from already established coins and try my hand at new coins. Second, I look at the market cap of the coin.

This changes project to project, for example project is good but there is not much hype and at bear market, it drops under ico price. But if there is big hype it is not matter bear or bull market, price can do x3 x5 from ico prices.

By participating in different bounties and airdrops, I have come to the conclusion that holding altcoins for too long is not profitable because they tend to fall significantly in price compare to its value during the ICO period, so I prefer to sell my altcoins as soon as I get some good profit.

Things may not be pointing upwards or bullish right now but it looks like we would have a green ending when compared with last year, 2017. I believe that soon, cryptocurrency markets will settle at least averagely to allow the market to be greenish again.

Many factors can be considered regarding your losses, might be due to bad timing because of bitcoin's time to shine again and of course nobody knows how long it will be, maybe you are just having a bad time investing in alt, another thing is if you bought some bad alts in the first place. Losses are part of trading anyway.

The one who really wins in this current dip right now would be the ones who have not invested in crypto yet. And I think those who does not have any active investments in crypto yet. Those who bought during the ATH needs a little more patience in dealing with their investments, no doubt this will go up it is just a matter of asking when would that happen.

invest in ICO is always dangerous, and so many bad news about cryptocurrencies are from ICOs, most of ICO are scams bringing bad reputations for cryptocurrencies, so i suggest you should stay away from ICO investing but investing BTC instead, BTC is a great investment for both short term and long term in the future.

I think only billionaire can said when bitcoin will fall, market are crashing again because of the bitcoin is going down again but as like the bitcoin before in last few years i'm expecting bitcoin can rise again and again.

It depends largely on your strategy and how potential the toke you have is. If it is a potential coin and it is also stable, I will buy and hold on long term to earn big profit by the time I decide to sell but if it is a coin without much potential, I invest on short term so I will not be at loss.

 think in 2018 market will not has a very huge growth but it can growth with low speed to higher goals. it is clear that if we consider yearly time frame, 2018 is the year for decrease the speed of growth.

This year will be difficult. Because there are eos, too many people are optimistic about the project, whether or not it can be successful, but the popularity can be equalized with the ether. So it depends on whether the two of them can decide the outcome this year. This time, they can know who has a better future.

It is always suggested you should opt for long term trading because it involves less risk as compared to short term trade. Short term trade can be compared to Day trade which is very risky as you never know when market will crash as I believe once in two weeks market is always red and such conditions can decrease your investment greatly.
