For sure the best way use several wallets because if you are holding all alts in one wallet and it will be hacked, you'll lose all of your coins. I just think safely. Obviously don't see any reason to hold all eggs in one pocket.
As ,my opinion it should be very soon, my prediction that in next two or three month altcoins also will go to his jolly ride because bitcoin dominance is too high right now and over bought imho.

With the BTC price going down so rapidly, some members of crypto community have forgotten the preceding Bitcoin Cash hard fork that took place on November 15.
Now, those enthusiasts that had Bitcoin Cash (BCH) are now facing the choice to keep their assets in BCH or to go with BSV. Some decide to opt for one or another and there are some who prefer splitting their assets and holding both currencies.
There are some options here. You can send unified coins to an exchange that has promised to split the tokens for its customers or, if you use Electron Cash wallet they allow users to split the tokens and add them to a separate address or multiple addresses independently. Further, because the software serves as a noncustodial wallet, the user remains in charge of their private keys and funds at all times, which is a nice touch for every crypto-holder.

I cannot say that this dump was predicted but a lot of people was waited for it. I think now we see just a rebuild of market and a lot of useless coins will gone, obviously market don't need 3k of coins.
I don't think that selling is good idea right now, in my opinion market can continue fall till $4000 or $3000 and will start grow after that, however we can see another scenario when bitcoin drop till $1000 or$1500. So it's up to you.
