It was not the intention to show that bitcoin has major flaws. Sorry on that.

Bitcoin keeps going down and forecasts of a rebound don't fulfill anymore
Cryptocurrencies should be moving beyond from being just value storage. Real functionality is needed.

Blockchain technology is well positioned to be the next level of money evolution
But governments are starting to implement it because they know it can save their ailing printed money

When I first proposed to use cryptocurrencies as support for a financial system based on energy instead of money or gold, some members asked me how it would be instrumented. Thanks to them all.

Here it is. The basis of a plan for a financial system based on blockchain technology and energy, mainly solar, that can show the way it may be operative and workable.

Time to time we see people in the news depicting BITCOIN as a bubble.

Trusting printed fiat money is even more delusional

Please check my post at:

What do you think?

Hi guys,

Enjoy some fiction on the cryptocoin universe.

What does CRYPTO DEATHMATCH tell you?

Hell, you might want to develop an ICO about it.

High volatility and sudden crashes will kill bitcoin, unless...

Hi Ev'rybody.
Last days we witnessed a 20% crash in bitcoin, not to sepak about other crypto, including ETH that had the most solid growth till then.
These anomalies, as good as they might be for day traders, does not speak well about the BTC as a reserve currency.

As I said before, there's a reason why paper money was pegged to gold prices and reserves. Because any currency needs a reference value if it is going to avoid those dramatic ups and downs. The euphemism of USDT is just out of question.

And even though I'm strongly against any regulation of BTC or any other crypto, I have to say, leaving it freely float poses dangers such those I said, plus manipulations of speculators who can, by their own operations, affect prices at will.

So, I will insist that crypto needs a value reference. And as I said in my other posts, the best reference value is ENERGY. The most pure asset in the universe.
And there's got to be a way to tie the value of bitcoin to Joules. There's already SOLARCOIN, but to be honest I'm not sure how that is working.

Future economy has to be energy-based.

Hi, and thanks for all your comments.

I see most of you think that cryptocurrencies as energy currency are far away in time. However i have to insist that energy banks are already in use. The very first moment electric companies allowed users to inject energy generated by rooftop photovoltaic panels to the grid, energy banks have been created. It's already happening as an unregulated energy market, and it will be just a matter of time until they figure out other things they can do. Cryptocurrencies will be natural progression. I see there are other commdodities more valuable than energy but energy is universally useful, even though not that scarce and it's value is constant. Tie energy to bitcoin mining is next natural step.

My point is: If Energy Banks progress the way I think, shouldn't be the cryptocurrency community at the front in order to help regulating it? Are we going to let governments dirty hands and overvalued printed money take over the energy exchange too? let them corrupt the most pure commodity in the universe?

Hi ev'rybody

I'm not much into bitcoins, (but i managed to get some) but I think that cryptocurrencies are a quite interesting phenomenon.

So I'd appreciate some feedback about this topic in my blog.

http://estaciontrend.blogspot.com/2016/09/is-energy-currency-of-future-yes-and.html

I really think there is a descentralizing trend. Not only currencies, but also energy, and public services.
