Do you realize how easy it would be to forge the order books ?
NO i do not trust Poloniex.

Haha your penguin with a gun is hilarious and your FUD line is a classic. Whats the current going rate for premium FUD right now? Can we pay in your favourite alt?

But in seriousness what do you mean "forge the books"?

If you cant trade at Poloniex where do you recommend?

Trying to guess which will be next is a fool's errand.

Well I guess the good thing is that even a fool can make money. So far I have done alright and if anything just sold 2 of my coins too early. Its true that you cant lose selling at profit  Cheesy

It's really gambling and luck unless you have inside info. This usually happens after a BTC rally, the top alts have pumped, then the little alts get pumped. More alt pumps that can last weeks or months then another BTC rally. The cycle just repeats  Cheesy

So is it worth just buying every alt there is and holding on?

Which Alt Will Be Poloniex's next Overnight Moonshot?

Unless you have been sleeping you can notice all of the little alts on Poloniex are getting some huge attention. Many of the little Alt's for some reason have started going ballistic with gains between %50 and %700!

What is driving this insanity?

Im searching through the list of cheap ones now and trying to find the next potential rocket. None of them seem to have anything special, somebody starts buying and then chaos kicks in for everyone to jump in.

My noob strategy of buying all the smaller alts has started to pay off but I dont want to get greedy. Probably most of you will laugh and say only invest in trusted projects like ethereum, lisk and nxt but that hasnt always been the best idea.

I bought small amounts of piggy, pink, sc, sia, silk, btm and a few more. Its not a huge amount but enough to enjoy the action and have some fun amongst the whales.

What do you think will be the next superstar?

Edit: I got some CGA too for the sole reason its the cheapest coin on poloni. One user said only go for coins with some volume or they get delisted? Sounds likely but what got me into it was the fact that for a coin thats only worth $23 thousand dollars it traded over $31 thousand dollars in volume and then $12 thousand days later.

If it fizzles out you can all laugh at me as a noob but my other coins already did something.

Last note, where can we go to get to hang out with other traders?

Ok there certainly wont be any precious metal involved probably plastic or some brass.

In regards to the private key issue: There are already a number of guys that operate in a trusted community producing coins and the business is thriving!. They get the coins made and then seal private keys with holographic tamper evident seals.

I have asked for some help and maybe I can get some made!

Is it a stupid idea or the best one we have had yet?

Every coin seems to have its niche but none of them have a dedicated mint creating roll after roll of collector coins.

I like the idea and the excitement it brings but will probably need some help. Are there any thoughts on how to go about this? If there was a coin thats main focus was to create offline physicals, would you buy it for a special collection?

(WTB) 10k Cryptographic Anomaly (CGA on poloniex)

We are starting a new project and want to begin by placing as many of these coins into physical form as possible.

There doesn't seem to be a whole lot for sale on poloniex but there must be someone who has stored or mined them over time?

We can use an escrow system or they can be offered for sale on the exchange and I will buy them Smiley

If you want some of them stored in physical coins we are waiting to hear back from one of the mints and can get them included!

Hey!

Your work is quite nice and prices very attractive. We just started a new project, do you want to join us?

I need a fresh logo that maintains the old logos core theme but takes a modern look. Simple and bold.

The logo will be a remake of Cryptographic anomaly and will be used on the upcoming physical coins. If you take a look at the logo we like the blue section that flows into form the grey triangle in the centre. Rather than include the outer clutter I would like to see the inner theme expanded upon in bold. What do you think?

It also indicates you have some coding skill? I am awaiting to hear back from the developer but take a look at the jobs https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=771830.420 and if any of them achievable. If you can do any of them, I can also pay for your service Smiley

The http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cryptographic-anomaly/ needs some lifting also. Take a look and consider any input.

If you can help with any of these features I want you on board =)

(WTB) Mint commissioning services
by
Teevo
on 11/07/2016, 04:06:53 UTC
Hello,

I have just started a new project and would like to commission the services of a well known and trusted mint to issue our first physical coins.

There are to be 3 series of physicals that we will fund costing.

1. Paper note stacks @ 1 coin each

2. Series 1a physical coins @ 100 coins each for 10 pieces

3. Series 2a physical coins @ 50 units each for 10 pieces

We want to make the coins very affordable but generous in the amount they hold. What material can they be made from? Maybe like the Satori coins?

If you would like to work with us on this we would be excited to make our first batch!

Re: [ANN][CGA]Cryptographic Anomaly - Multipool is LIVE!

Due to various reasons, Cryptographic Anomaly will be going through some changes.

These require first priority. They have first priority over ANY OTHER concern because, if these things don't happen the coin won't live much longer:

  • CODE UPDATE - The coins code needs to be updated to some version of Bitcoin core. Things need to be addressed, like what base code should be used, what features (if any) are to be added, and who should have access to the development repo (We need more bodies maintaining the code then just myself even if it is just someone periodically popping into github and adding a checkpoint or useful link).
  • Branding - Should a re-branding happen (the name has been confusing for non-native English speakers)? If re-branded, then new social media pages need to be created, and possible new logo (I have been working on updating the logo, it wont change to much).
  • Web presence - Thanks to the DIEM team we have http://cga.thehouseofdiem.info/ (which is VERY outdated, source: https://github.com/s4w3d0ff/cganomalywebsite) but it would still be nice to have our own site and forum. We also need social media managers to maintain the social sites that allow moderators.
  • Whitepaper - We have this: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1cQJE8P0mR6n-9_F5BuI8sDvjNn-SD3VTPHK9ulxpgUQ/edit?usp=sharing It is a good starting point, but like I said before it is very outdated.

These things are NOT a priority and will be addressed by the main developers ONLY after the list above has been 90% completed (I say this because of the lack of bodies, if we had a solid crew committed to the software, these things could be done simultaneously/autonomously):

  • Network Services - Pools, block explorers, etc.
  • Other Services - Exchanges, markets, games, applications, etc.
  • Media - Blogs, Videos, wallpapers, banners, etc.
  • Translations - For the web page, whitepaper and forum as well as community support (helping out with general translations between members)

What this means is, until the updated coin software is ready to be released and a basic web presence has been established for the possible re-branding, no one should be overly concerned about getting a pool/block explorer running, or getting added to new exchanges/services (it is pointless if the code is going to change).

I will attempt to be on IRC in #CGAnomaly (freenode) as frequently/consistently as possible to answer any questions, address concerns, and point volunteers into the right direction. (Just don't bug me too much if you want anything to get done Tongue)

PLEASE DO NOT ASK/TELL ME ANYTHING "INVESTMENT" RELATED INVOLVING CGA, I DO NOT CARE. I WILL NOT HELP YOU BUY A GOLD UNICORN.

Hello,

I am excited to become involved in the community and can head the task of rebranding and social media development. Have you any logo mock designs or can I get to work on something?

Who currently holds the accounts?

My time is in abundance for this moment and I like to work quickly.

If developers need funding to make some changes we can assist. I am not familiar with state of affairs but if you can get tasks assigned regarding the technical development I will help pay for the work.

Anyone that wants to be apart of a strong community should voice their support and get on board! The coins been around for over 2 years and stood the test of time. Its not going to disappear and can only rise in strength.

Lets get to work
