The beauty of cryptocurrencies is that no one really knows what is ahead.

I have been referring users, but there is no incentive now that the $500 bonus is gone and the main exchange isn't opening until 1 March!

Ironically holding BTC would have been more profitable than most coins in the last few months.  So definitely hold some.

A lot of the top coins have good reputations too, such as Ripple, XLM, QTUM etc.

I would suggest some staples such as XLM, STRAT, LSK.  As well as some more med-risk high return ones such as REQ and ELIX.

Don't bet the farm on a particular coin, diversify even if you are trading small amounts!

Manipulation is rampant, as well as bots that exemplify trends (both down and up).

One of the few coins I actually feel FOMO with...  Will definitely be interesting to see how it scales.

Try low-ish marketcap coins with solid tech such as REQ, ICN.  As well as more speculative coins such as HST and ELIX.

ED was not hacked, rather the nameservers were compromised.  The smart contract that runs everything continues to work and is still secure.  Hopefully the ED team will add security features to make phishing attempts in the future be less effective.  I still use ED but the volumes have dried up...

Don't be fooled by the % change, sometimes it could be with tiny volume (i.e. you would never be able to sell more than like $100 of that coin before it crashes).

Look at the charts for where the price "bounces" back down (resistance) or back up (support) over a period of time.  It will also help you identify uptrends (higher lows) or downtrends (lower highs)

Surely it has to keep up with LSK (+$1b more than STRAT) and especially ADA (+$9b more than STRAT?!)

Cryptos obviously have had a stellar run.  Stocks are less riskier (both upside and downside risk) while Cryptos are incredibly risky (again, both upside and downside risk).  History does not indicate future performance, so just because everything in cryptos went up x100 in the last 12 months, doesn't mean it will happen (although we all hope it does!)

So the answer depends on your risk profile.  IMO best to diversify, put some of your crypto earnings into stocks so you can sleep easy at night 

I do prefer Bittrex, but that's because I started off using it before Binance... Although it seems like Binance is definitely gaining more momentum... I think Bittrex volume is still greater though?

Deposit fees (usually a flat figure, e.g. $10) would make it not worth it unless you put in $100 minimum (even that is a bit low).
