I'm talking about Jared Tate taking an aggressively anti-Binance stand on Twitter. I'm talking about the DGB devs and community leaders pushing weird conspiracy theories about Binance in the official DGB Telegram. I'm talking about community members - such as yourself - assailing anyone who questions why there is such a negative Binance slant with this coin.
It's all very fishy.
And yes, I am a fan of Binance. Most people are these days, after how professionally they've managed their exchange. On the same day Binance handled a hack better than any crypto exchange in history, you have the creator of this coin tweeting about their "shady business practices." This is terrible optics and not good business, especially when there is a DGB community initiative to raise the Binance fee completely separate from the Foundation. Just hamstringing this coin for no reason.
I think the general myopicism of people in the DGB community will ultimately see this coin flounder. It basically needs to be on Binance to succeed, that's where the action is, that's where the liquidity is, that's where the adoption and excitement are. But no, listen to some anonymous dev's seventeen Telegram messages about how I have insider info on Binance about to go under in a year or two.
No vision with this coin. No ability to see the bigger picture. No pragmatism. Personal attacks on those who disagree, even though they want to see DGB prosper just as much.
Not a bad coin, but definitely has some fishy aspects.

Can anyone tell me why this coin has so publicly made itself an enemy of Binance? Seems like a terrible business decision, especially as Binance is being universally praised and lauded for the responsibility they're bringing to the cryptoverse.
If you go on the DGB Telegram, you'll see admins posting bizarre FUD about "inside information" they have that Binance "won't be there in a few years." Anyone who asks about Binance is told they're a fraud and a scam. This is very weird. The CEO bashes Binance on Telegram and very publicly on Twitter, undermining the community effort to get DGB listed. They keep saying over and over again they've tried to get DGB listed, but it looks more like they just hate Binance.
It's kind of ridiculous an old coin like this somehow isn't on the world's most popular exchange four years on. It's a huge market that is being left completely untapped for what appear to be weird conspiracy theories on the part of the devs. Why is it so hard for DGB to get on Binance, when every single one of DGB's competitors have managed to do it? Hi all. I've been trying to mine on Digihash for months now, but the amount of downtime has been really frustrating. I tried to set up an account with Blocksfactory, but they do not have any info on their set up page for Scrypt, so I have no idea where to point my miner.

The weblink mention , this was posted 2 years ago. I think DGB don't need this fork even if it's still on track to happen (I don't think it's the case). Now correct me if I am wrong but DGB is able to process today +500 tps and next year it will double to +1200 tps. This is sufficient to go mainstream. I don't see DGB to reach visa's adoption at anytime in the future but will occupy an important place in the payment systems . I believe to have 10% of the visa's market in 3-5 years will be for DGB an uncrushable victory and with the capacities of this coin, DBG can well cope with 200-300 tps - no need of any forks. DGB secured a good place in the future already with the infrastructure it has but also thanks to many other factors such as reputation, security, community. No financial advice , but personally I forecast that around 10 bln $ market cap by the end of 2018 and why note 50-100 bln in 3 years conditional upon having the total cryptocap at 3-5 trillions .

I'm old believer and holder of DGB but I have sold all of my coins because lack of wallet improvement.
For example, DGB gaming wallet is not working. I can't connect to the network. And I'm too busy to run the full wallet. Hope this will improve DGB.

McAfee is right, this is a sleeping giant. DigiByte uses five highly advanced cryptographic algorithms. Wow
DigiByte on one of five seperate mining algorithms. Each algo averages out to mine 20% of new blocks. This allows for much greater decentraliztion than other blockchains. In order for an attacker to hardfork DigiByte the attacker would need to control 93% of the hashrate on 1 algo, and 51% of the other 4 making DigiByte much more secure against PoW attacks than other blockchains

I have absolutely no idea what has happened, but yesterday I did a sync of my digibyte core wallet installed on my computer, and when the sync was over, my wallet was empty.
I checked my wallet address DMHUZWvzfJwdiiivnbfkMW34LBmAt5r9Zv in the blockchain explorer and to my horror I realized that the transactions in fact had taken place.
What has happened? I have never given my private keys to anyone, my pc shows no sign og beeing hacked, its fully updated, have the newest antivirus. My wallet is also protected by a strong password. My pc wasn't online at the time of the transactions. Im a sysadmin and i know a thing or 2 about pc security,
How can this happen? can anyone help me to clarify what has happened before i jump screeaming out of the nearest window
