Re: Singapore will not ban cryptocurrency

Can you please post the link here so that we can read everything about Singapore stance on bitcoin? Too lazy to search the web right now.  Smiley. One thing that goes with Singapore is that is a Information Technology hub for the in the last decades or more. So they are really inclined to adopt new technologies such as crypto. So they are going to attract entrepreneurs to make Singapore as their home based if indeed they are going to stay on embracing cryptos. And maybe we will see that they will become behind Japan as one of the prime movers. I would like to see them give incentives to ICO companies as well. Similar to what Belarus did, 5 years tax free, thus becoming a blockchain and crypto hub country.

is this great time to buy bitcoin???

At present, bitcoin prices are down at $ 6,644. This is a opportunity to buy bitcoin for long-term investors.
But still need to be careful as the downtrend remains. The reason for the bad market may be due to an increase in access bans for international trading sites in China and the number of banks prohibit credit card payments for cryptocurrency

Sad? Why would it be sad that a moron ended his life because he gambled and lost?

of course "sad". Because he was too young, just 20 years old, he’s so foolish. He has a beautiful future ahead.
I hope he think carefully before he act. There’s More To Life Than Money. Sad

One of the reasons the Chinese regulators controlled ICO are stricter because the ICO  has spread and out of the traditional crypto community.
China recognizes the real needs of its people with the ICO, but the government should prevent speculative ICOs to protect real investors.

should you invest in Bitcoin companies / grow your Bitcoins / HYIPs???

I think NO, you shouldn’t. Because These sites can be categorized mostly as scams or HYIPs (high yield investment programs).
These sites take money from people around and promise to give them interest on them. They will then start off by paying these returns through money they get from new sign ups and create a big buzz around the site. Usually they will also have some sort of referral program so that users can bring in their friends. This will go on for around 3-4 months until one day the website will just go offline and the money will be gone.
I should you stay away from sites promise double your coins or give you daily interest on them.

The journey of bitcoin from 2009 to 2017 is very interesting. Although the stories of individuals(investors) are very interesting and motivational that how they initiated and what problems they faced at earlier stages.

In 2017 the number of businesses accepting bitcoin continues to increase. Where you see the bitcoin in 2018?

In 2018, there are big surprises for the crypto currency market, but there are two difference opinions. As financial experts, the market is in a bubble period, should not to jump in. On the contrast, technology specialists believes the crypto currency will continue to boom, and will become trend in future.
