Re: A lot of Americans still don't know what Bitcoin is

Bitcoin does not necessarily have to be used by everyone around the world, but if only 3% of them know and 1% use it and make profits, we can easily know the rest about it.
Innovations in the early days do not achieve much turnout, but in short periods they succeed in winning thousands and perhaps millions of followers.
I believe in less than 10 years more than 20% of Americans will know about bitcoin

Re: Spyce Price Conditions before and After Distribution
by

Because after the end of the distribution, the developed team and a large number of people try to sell and thus create a lot of liquidity that may lead to a lower price.

Also, many platforms lie about profits, which makes many people sell once the currency has reached the maximum possible price, which is the price before the end of the promotional campaign.

I still can't believe this news is true? Why after all these bans do they accept making exchange with a NWC token?
If so, can exchange NWC token to Bitcoin? If possible, why not accept Bitcoin?

Sorry about your situation, it is bad and the recovery is slow, but you have to fight, a lot of people have lost their jobs so don't worry.
What skills can you provide? Can you show examples of the sites that you designed? Or any evidence confirming your expertise in design?
you can try using this forum and other bitcoin community to earn between 100 to 1000 if you are a good dev

Can someone explain to me what the account owner is talking about?
Do you mean to use fake Telegram ID similar to Bitcoin acount of a trusted person and then to ask you to send money to that account?
I don't answer the mail that comes to me from anyone on Telegram, they are scammers or want to get the money, either way I'm the loser.

I hope you recovered your money.

You didn't make many posts during 2018 to 2020, 70 posts in more than two years are very few.
It is good to have about 17 Merit with 70 posts. This indicates that you are doing a good job. I wish you more success.
It is too early to celebrate It is still a long way to reach Full member.

Phishing is the easiest way to hack, when the user is not aware of anything and therefore it is easy to be convinced to submit some important data.
I expect that people who are exposed to such deception will learn and thus this method will decrease and the two cases will search for new ways to deceive others.
If someone believes this is a scam, he is stupid and deserves to lose some money to learn

Re: Growing number of institutionnal investors

Does the report talk about digital or crypto assets? Because there are many reports that use the term digital assets to denote digital currencies.
I would not be surprised if I heard that many rich people have already started investing even a small portion of their wealth in digital assets, but that will not exceed 1% to 5% of the value of their assets.
When institutions and governments move, we will see more demand, and therefore we may find some people advancing more aggressively and investing about 30% or more of their wealth in these assets.

I did not expect banks to be bold in proposing that they might invest in cryptocurrencies or put those ideas publicly?

In the past we could only hear criticism and skepticism, but the language seemed more accepting and open, which may be considered a point around building huge investment funds denominated in digital assets.

The current crisis or any future crises may accelerate such measures.

Re: How in the world we going to restart the world economy ?
by

Governments hide economic impacts during the past months, but everything will appear in the coming months.
We cannot live in an economy that is falling apart, so everyone will think about the economic consequences more than the deaths that occur due to the pandemic.
5% will not put pressure on governments to reopen the economy, and many people will start getting used to the new conditions.
The governments that began with fear will not succeed in such bold decisions.

Anonymous service, uses cloudflare, and has many conditions for withdrawal, do you think yourself are the only one who offers such services?
You need to pay some money to try your service, as it is difficult to trust the new services.
The number of currencies that can be exchanged between them is very few, I do not expect anyone to try to trust you and you offer a few currencies and many conditions.

Re: I can't access to my wallet
by

The wallet follows the traditional way to derive the public key from the private key, so you will see the address as p2pkh address.
You must define the wallet that you want to derive p2wpkh-p2sh/p2wpkh from the address by adding the appropriate word before importing the private key.
The solution above is correct, as you can try with electrum console:

Code:
key = 'your_key'
txin_type, secret, compressed = bitcoin.deserialize_privkey(key)
wif2 = bitcoin.serialize_privkey(secret, compressed, 'p2wpkh-p2sh')
print(wif2)

Hacking is a crisis for these platforms, so most of the platforms will not act immediately and tell clients if they can control the breakout.
Many platforms have been hacked and clients did not know that they were hacked so it is relative.
Are withdrawals and deposits going normally?

EU has joined in with 826bn. Globally over 10tn has been printed

The European Union has revealed its intention to raise up to $ 850 billion to its members to fund their recovery from the economic meltdown.
Before this package, the European Union approved a stimulus package worth 540 billion euros.
The new packages will give the European Union the ability to raise taxes directly, potentially causing inflation in Europe and beyond.

Countries like Japan, which released the $ 2.2 trillion package, and the United States, which passed $ 2.3 trillion, made a refund package.

As indicated by predictions bitcoin should have achieved 15k$ by end of 2017 and fall in first week of jan 2018

In any case, shockingly its effectively reached 17k$ in 2017.

Should I purchase or hold my btc?I don't plan to sell at any point in the near future.

Holding will rise because all will want to buy more bitcoin for future.
bitcoin now is more trusted than others

Re: Bitcoin crashing & housing bubbles popping Deutsche Bank’s biggest risks in 2018
by
Thasins61
on 07/01/2018, 12:55:26 UTC
Investors should get ready for potential risks this year, warns Deutsche Bank. With national central banks pursuing active policies pegged to the whole range of internal and external drivers, the geopolitical environment is continually changing with one concern being replaced by others..

Domestic policies carried out by governments across the world commonly have a significant impact on the whole planet, and new phenomena such as a crash in the crypto-market might bring down real companies. That’s why the number of risks worth worrying about is growing, even when the Volatility Index VIX is steadily falling..

Deutsche Bank's chief international economist Torsten Slok has circulated a list of 30 risks for markets in 2018. “They are in random order and are both upside risks and downside risks,” the analyst writes in a note..

“Think of them not only as potential VIX-boosters but also as potential sources of faster or slower growth than what we have in our baseline forecast.”. In the list there’s something for everyone: a bitcoin crash, North Korea test launches ICBMs, the Robert Mueller investigation and an ongoing growth of inequality in the US..

i agree with you if bitcoin crashing i will be biggest news and end of all other altcoin.
the market is strong but also based on bitcoin.

If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?
i need friends send me gifts even 1$. if i get 1 bitcoin will just hold it and after 10 years will send him 15,000$ and save rest.
