In my opinion, i think the best way to safe while travelling or to travel is first is you need to pray you need to know your destination the background of this and make sure you are take the first aid kit, food and etc, and you need to know youre packet money it is enough to youre travel.

Though it's a bit unlikely that most landmarks are actually doing fishy stuff with their wifi access points, being sure of your online security is always a good idea. If you're paranoid about public wifi hotspots, then your best bet would be to just pay for your own mobile data bandwidth; and if you want to take it to the next level, probably purchase a VPN subscription for your mobile/laptop.

this is vague. some people may call using blockchain.info with 2FA as "really really safe" which is obviously wrong and some consider the cold storage on a pc that has never been connected to the internet and never will "really really safe" which is the right way to do it.
so if you did the offline computer thing then you are safe.
and if things are complicated for you then simply use a hardware wallet instead. they are safe enough and easier to use.
I will do that. However, what about exchanges. let's say I have some btc on an exchange because I want to trade. What is the best way to protect myself? Buy / sell and move btc to my ledger s asap?
I think you should learn the experience from the pages for long trips on facebook. They will guide you in the most specific way. I also have some advice for you, if you want to travel to a certain country you learn about that country in detail. google will guide you to do it. You should prepare yourself for a good spirit to handle the tough situations. hope you have a nice trip.

So I am traveling to Asia soon, I want to visit a couple of countries in the next few months and live there, however my biggest worry is ofc safety.
For those with experience, please give advice.
I have backed up and secured everything back home and stored it in a really really safe space that no one can find or access except me. However, I heard that it is dangerous to connect on an Internet that is not on your name. I will be staying in an apartment complex, but they offer the Internet from what I read. Same goes with phone, I heard that it can get hacked and 2fa could get accessed if connected on a network that is hacked.
In general give some advice, I would appreciate that.

I believe the platform would be even better investment than neo.
