Re: DECENTRALIZED OR CENTRALIZED?
by

It is decentralized in nature and if anyone wants it to be centralized, it won't really happen. They can't remove or freeze anything inside the blockchain.

I am not selling my coins. Investing in something also means believing in it. If you believe that this project will give you more gains, and you are confident with your research, why sell your coun this early?

I've been using cointracking.info to track my cryptos. It has different reports and charts and allows you to get the transactions from the exchanges by importing it thru csv or excel file.

Re: Is ICO WhitePaper Matter Most?
by
TheBraveDesolator
on 16/07/2018, 05:58:43 UTC
Of course. Whitepaper is only their documentation. It is only documents that describles the project and answers the following:

  • What does the project do?
  • What particular problem/s it really solves? (Why are they doing it?)
  • How will they solve the problem?
  • What are the target dates for the accomplishment of every parts of the project?
  • Who are the people involved in this project?

It rarely answers these:
  • How feasible is the project proposal?
  • What are the methodology/ies you're using or the algorithm/s derived in solving the problem?

It never answers these:
  • Are the people/part of the project really reputable, reliable and relevant on the project that they're doing?
  • Are they doing things the right way?
  • Are they doing things legally?
  • Are they well funded?
  • Are they well supported by their own community?

Whitepaper is just the tip of the iceberg.

Re: Crypto currency in five years!
by
TheBraveDesolator
on 16/07/2018, 05:33:26 UTC
There are some factors:
  • Government are against it because of its decentralized nature.
  • Some people particularly, non technical savvy people, are resistant to new technologies like this. They will, somehow hate bitcoin for its too technical for them
  • Businesses and industries, particularly banks will be disrupted once it is widely used. So they will be against it.

and many more.

Fiver years aren't enough for this kind of change. Trust me.

Re: Warning BITCOIN Scam... Be Cautious!

It is because some politicians aren't really inclined into technology. I am from the Philippines and most Filipinos including those incumbent officials doesn't know what Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain technology can do. Even if you educate them, they will insist their own beliefs. Sad.

You can't control those scammers. In every investment vehicles, there are scammers lurking, sets a bait and wait for someone to bite it.

#Patience is the key to success in trading

I think that is the most important rule. Watch the market and don't buy if you think the price won't maximize your returns.  Grin

Don't hold much ETH. I suggest you diversify your portfolio and I heard a lot of good things in Waves platform so split your funds while Waves is on its low price.

Re: SPRING AFTER THE WINTER
by
TheBraveDesolator

Big time investors like Warren Buffet, treats bear market as an OPPORTUNITY. They buy while the market is in its very low value, equipping themselves for the future.
HODL my brothers, winter is here.

these two are contradictory!
taking advantage of a bear market and seeing it as an opportunity means you either continuously short bitcoin while it is dropping or you do pull out at the start of the market (not near the end obviously) and then wait for the bottom to buy as much bitcoin as you can.
HODL means missing opportunities that this market is now offering you.

HODL is only for those who don't want to trade or at times when you can't predict the market.

But that's not the point. Either HOLD or trade. It is your choice. But panic selling is not good. Withdrawing your funds because of what your emotions are telling you is not good. You must remain calm and be unshakeable. Don't be carried away by the pundit's news about bitcoin. Smiley

SPRING AFTER THE WINTER
by
TheBraveDesolator
on 30/03/2018, 01:32:36 UTC
While I'm reading Tony Robbins' great book Unshakeable, I decided to go to coinmarketcap and check the graphs. I noticed that there is another correction and when I went to this forum, I see posts about negative things in bitcoin. Well let me tell you something -- a part in the book that I'm reading.

"In 2009, blue chip companies' stocks went to pennies on the dollar. Citigroup sank to a low of 97 cents a share from $57 a share. You can literally own a piece of the company for less than it cost you to take money out of an ATM. But here's a kicker: winter is always followed by springtime, and sometimes the seasons turn much quicker than you'd ever guess. This 97-cent stick shot to $5 within five months, giving investors a 500% return."

All I can say is that when the market is very depressed, negativity from news, forums, discussions may arise. People really pulls out their investments as a reaction to its very low price but let me tell you this: Big time investors like Warren Buffet, treats bear market as an OPPORTUNITY. They buy while the market is in its very low value, equipping themselves for the future. Winter will always be followed by spring, market will always be reversed irregardless of how long the bear market will last. Imagine if you pull out all of your cryptocurrencies and the market soon skyrocketed, you will miss LOT OF THINGS.

HODL my brothers, winter is here. Are you the one who's stuck outside, freezing in the bitter cold? Or do you want to be the one who's wrapped up warmly by the fire, toasting marshmallows?

Even if someone copied your idea, I believe everyone has his/her unique way of doing the thing. I suggest that you start doing it and prove that you can do it way better than the one who copied.

Re: What’s everyone’s opinion on Ripple (XRP)?

I doubt this coin will triple its value.

Circulating supply is 39T but the total supply is 99T. What will happen if they release the uncirculated ones? Huh
Price stays to 50 and the graph isn't remarkable at all
Many news say that this coin is backed by large conpanies but I cannot see much growth in it.
