Looking for a used 320GB sata hard drive..
Got 5.5-6 BTC for it shipped..

I have two 150gb that I can let you have for 2.5-3.5 shipped if you're interested. Both are SATA and while used, are in excellent working condition. If you like I can also throw in an extra 40GB for excess space (I don't have a desktop anymore, just a laptop and have no need for these drives). If you are interested, PM me. We'll work it out. I can even include an extra or two (if you like Star Trek or Star Wars).

This honestly wouldn't be an issue if my PC hadn't fried, but I've been trying to generate Bitcoin since March and haven't gotten a single on. I understand that it's supposed to be GUI mining, and my old PC would have done just fun but FRAK! Nothing. Not a single bloody thing. Why does it have to be so difficult for people with PCs like mine to generate Bitcoin? Is there a better way? Ugh. It's like I leave it running day in day out (haven't shut it off since 31 March - my birthday), and NOTHING. I thought this would be a good way to get back some of the things my parents sold, but apparently not. I'd buy these things with cash, but I have no money, so I can't. Is there anyone needs a writer, and is willing to pay in Bitcoin? I mean I'll do ANYTHING at this point to get a couple. Thanks for letting me rant. I appreciate it.

www.forbitcoin.com

put up a job saying that you'll include a banner/link to forbitcoin.com in your signtaure, and I'll buy it =)

Sure! I'll also advertise the site in my Facebook, in the "About Me" section.

Edit: Gig is posted. Also: I should mention that I'm MiniKirk on forbitcoin.com

TheDoc:  I also sent you .25, enjoy!  Don't be discouraged and please do continue to work for Bitcoins - a better economy for all =)

Thank you guys so much for your generosity, and for letting me vent a little bit! I really do appreciate it, and I'm looking. Always looking. =D I would rather this whole thing be a success, so of course I'll do my part. I wish I had joined this forum sooner, you guys seem a lot nicer than everywhere else on the internet.

MacFall: Do you think people would be interested in paying like .10 or so for a novella? That's my skill is writing.

Re: Bitcoin Weekly Looking For Writers

I am willing to pay 5 2.5 1 BTC for anybody who would write an article and authorized me to publish it under the public domain. Pitch an idea to me and I will think about it. If I like your idea, you will get a 4 days deadline to write your article and 3 days deadline to finish your final draft.

I am one of the most reliable employer on the market. As of May 24th, 2011,  22 articles out of 29 articles on BitcoinWeekly were somebody's writing or drawings that I paid for. The rest were written by me.

See http://bitcoinweekly.com for all the articles that been published on the site.

At the moment, I am looking for articles dealing with:

1. Cryptography
2. Bitcoin economics
3. Stories. Especially business stories detailing your exploit and your failure in the bitcoin economy.
4. Technologies.
5. History.

So, as you can see, I like all things to be related to bitcoin. It's not a full fledge magazine in technology or whatever.

If you like the magazine, don't forget to donate bitcoin to me at the address I listed on Bitcoin Weekly website. Those donations help pay for the magazine's very existence.

OK here's the pitch: My article idea would be about the way our modern technology is bringing us into the science fiction of yesterday. Specifically cyberpunk. I would focus on Bitcoin and the various savory and less than savory aspects of using it, as well as the black market that has sprung up thanks in no small part to the increase in publicity for Bitcoin.

Re: [HIRING] Writers needed for The Bitcoin Sun

Hi everyone - as you may or may not know, I'm an editor for The Bitcoin Sun- I write all the articles about development news and goings on, which is something I'd like to change! I'd like to get writers signed up, and try and am aiming to have 1-2 articles freelanced at anywhere from 2-3 btc each, for roughly a page and a half to two pages of reporting on the goings on of the Development team, feature requests, community development, etc.

Essentially, I'm looking for articles that boil down the developer forum's posts into a coherent, easy to read format. Topics should be cleared with me in advance, and articles should be timely (We are a news organization, after all Wink ).

Repeat writers will get priority with their articles, and potentially a more steady job, but new writers will be subject to review and will only be paid based on quality of the article.

A good article should describe the discussion/problem, describe why it is important to regular users/miners/businesses/ etc.

So basically, if you want a constant contributor I'm (one of) your guy(s). I'm a talented writer, kinda along the lines of a Palahniuk or Salinger, with a current events/political twist. I love to write and I love reporting on anything. Bitcoin is one of the most interesting concepts to me; I've been dreaming about digital currency since I was a child. Kinda wish I'd found out about this sooner (I've only been into this stuff since the end of March and only registered here today), because I kinda wish I had been working on getting some coins for longer. Anyways, if you want a sample, give me a topic to write on and a couple of days to write it. Thank you for your time.

I'm looking for creative writers that also are up on US based news and have a sense of humor. I only have around 7.50 bitcoins, so this really won't be a "paying" job it's more of a stake in the website though I guess I could throw in a bitcoin or two in good faith.  I have hosting and will hopefully have a great domain in about a week. If anyone is interested please post here.

edit: it would be great if you fit the above criterea and are into the alt/punk/goth scene and can provide none mainstream news. Or a geek/nerd/techie or really anything alt.

If you're still looking I'm interested. Give me a topic so I can prepare you something. Please. And thank you. I can also provide non-mainstream news. I'm a huge nerd, fluent in: French,  Japanese and English. Klingon, not since high school but I am proficient. I'm well versed not just on mainstream news but also on nerd stuff too. Tech, pop-culture, sciency things. You name it. If I can't write about it, it doesn't exist. Just consider me a nerdy Hunter S. Thompson.

Post your address and I'll send 0.25 to you Smiley

Seriously? Wow, thank you!

The other things, I'm pool mining but stuck using CPU. And how would I sell a bitcoin domain? Wouldn't I need a domain first for that? Also, once again: I'm serious about working for my coin. I like to give back when I get things, it's just how I was brought up. So if anyone (Zhalox especially) needs some writing or information on well damn near anything, or needs someone to do dirty (internet) work or something, you know. I'll do it.
