You've got to have serious HVAC...
The winder was a breeze, I punched through the wall to an abandoned 6 floo elevator shaft. I pump the heat into the shaft, then bring in cold air from the shaft (Shaft is not insulated). Beautiful temps all winter.
Now that it's summer, I simply only vent into the shaft, that air is replaced with cool air from the HVAC. The HVAC is set up to create positive pressure in the server room, thus the exhaust of the hot air balances nicely.
I'm sure the building owner and local Fire Marshall are quite happy that you punched a hole through a 4 hour fire rated wall to exhaust hot air to save on cooling costs.

We have been acting wonky since Sandy, the main server in New Jersey hash been seeing strange patterns of packet loss. I have provisioned some new servers in Georgia. PA.mtred is looking good, and I hope to have a stratum server up soon.

i strongly believe that BTC cgminer for GPU will be dead in a matter of weeks.
Thus, all the efforts now for cgminer development should be in the direction of LTC (scrypt)

One of the oldest, most established, most respected, and wide spread dictionaries of all time for the English language is wrong because Luke Jr. doesn't agree with it. If anyone needed proof that Luke Jr. was nothing but a self-centered, egotistical, deluded, douchbag I think that pretty much sums it up.
Nothing personal against you guys as CoinLab, but personally I see no reason to continue to point my gear at you guys. With the block reward being reduced, quite clearly the profit margin has significantly decreased for all miners, regardless of what gear they are using. That being said, while personally my GPU systems are still profitable, every little bit counts now more than ever. I can see no reason to stay here until/unless the HPC client is released and providing work. There are just to many other pools out there with far more features, and lower fees.

I have all my "Loyalty Points" left, I just see no reason to use them at this time.

There is a two-year expiration date on loyalty points from the time we cross below the price floor. Because the crossing of the threshold was caused by the block reward halving, Loyalty Points will expire two years from today - 11/28/2014.
Interesting aside.
If I had Loyalty Points, I would probably wait until ASICs hit if I was still mining profitably. However, if I was planning on ebaying my GPUs before they become depreciated from obsolescence, maybe squeezing them for all they got as fast as possible is the way to go. Tough call. I'd love to hear more about other people's strategies. I don't think most miners that are on CoinLab are planning to Ebay their gear. There is a rumor floating around about some company that is supposedly developing a custom client for GPUs to do HPC work. No proof of this yet of course.
Now that the block reward has halved, is there any reason NOT to redeem loyalty points? It seems like the prudent thing to do.
It all depends on your operating cost and is different for everyone. Personally, I am still profitable with my GPU rigs, probably will be until ASICs hit and drive the difficulty to the moon. Then it will either be time to use loyalty points and CoinLabs yet to be released software, or part them out."TOTAL LOYALTY POINTS EARNED: 0"

Seems to be working for me.
So how do I switch to the "normal" pool? I really don't feel like staying on the "protected" 95% pool if I am no longer pulling in loyalty points. I might as well just pull my rigs off and go somewhere that doesn't have a 5% fee.

Thanks for your dedication to this project. I'd like to request a new load balancing option. 1 device per pool. I'm concerned about pool stability once ASICs start rolling out.
From my experience with cgminer, load-balance and balance do not really distribute work evenly across pools. I'd like to define a list of 10 pools, and each device mines solely on one of the pools in that list. If one of the pools fails, the device attached will move on to the next pool in the list.

This can already be done just by running multiple instances of CGminer. While it's not the most elegant solution, it is far easier than asking Con to add or rewrite code.
What's being done to protect the assets of your users if the feds launch a full frontal attack against Seals?
I'm not sure why this should even be an issue. I don't walk out of a casino and leave my chips with the cashier, why would you leave SWC without withdrawing your BTC? Just like everything else in the BTC world, the responsibility of protecting the bitcoins is no ones except the user's. I personally feel that anyone that leaves their BTC in anyone elses control should expect them to be stolen.

Well, not exactly. It's basically referred as the 3-step rule. It must take 3 distinctive steps to bring the firearm to a fire-able state. The 3 separate step are not specified, as long as it can be reasonably conceived as 3 steps. Having it loaded, within arms reach (under the seat, etc) is totally illegal.
For me the 3 steps are, remove from glovebox, load the clip, chamber a round.
