Plenty of people used cryptsy for years, there was nothing shady about it until near the end, just like gox. Using every exchange assumes a risk, so just get over your self, ok?
Actually it got shady long before "the end" as you put it, so before you get high and mighty about people's assumption of risk, check your facts. Could be as simple as the early posts on this thread letting people know of the issues that pointed to insolvency. They did not operate in a legit fashion for an extended period of time and people knew it, so don't try to be paternal and defend a thief.

As in one of my posts I picked up some of their drivel on a derisory tone, he made very clear to me that I shouldn't, because their stupid unproven claims repeated hundreds of times come as confusing or even possibly true to the newbies and ignorant. He explained to me it's part of their strategies. I did agree with him and never did it again.
