I am shocked to find an article that actually does not call HEX a scam. Everyone of course needs to do their own research, but it is somewhat refreshing to hear the other side. The coin is currently pumping which is crazy, and everyone is wondering whether it is legit. This article might help people understand more:

Coinmarketcap won't list it on the front page, but Coinpaprika does which shows that it overs in the top 30 coins already. Very odd, but interesting.

Google the website Castle Crypto - you can find in-depth blockchain gaming reviews similar to how IGN does for regular type games. There is also a good running list of blockchain games there.

It's possible that it is not a scam, but a really well designed project encouraging people to stake and hold. Yes, it has its shady aspects, but seems like it could be a legitimate project. For example this article makes a defense of HEX:

I guess if you have BTC you should free claim as there is no harm in doing so. If you don't do it soon you lose most of your claim, as I believe HEX may already be in the 50% claim penalty phase.
