Governments and other agencies are putting high priority on 'Dark' targets for surveillance. 'Dark' is like wearing a bright orange shirt that screams "I'm Up To No Good".

Dark tech is the way to go for maintaining any level of personal privacy. Wearing the 'Dark' name is counterproductive. I suggested a name change 6 weeks ago (or close to that) for this exact reason. At the time, the majority were in disagreement. I presented my case, and then laid it to rest. I never brought it up again before now.

'Dark' tech, but drop the 'Dark' label. Also, TOR network users are targeted for high priority surveillance simply due to the way TOR network is perceived by the authorities as a major security risk. Using 'Dark' as a label and using TOR network is pretty much guaranteeing that there is a high probability of BEGGING for the wrong kind of attention from the wrong kind of people.

Too much unsubtantiated FUD was getting in the way of progress for the new team in regard to getting up to speed and well organized. Pump and Dump propaganda that only serves the motives of the greedy have no relevance. There was a significant increase of both types which was purely opportunistic squatting while they thought we were too busy to nuke that shit.

They were wrong.

This is our topic. We will use it as a communication tool to facilitate forward progress of the project. Not going to allow it to be perverted by others to use as their soapbox to spew false information and/or manipulative propaganda.

I will delete any post that deviates from the goal of moving forward. I will not delete posts that express an opposing opinion regarding how to reach our goals, as long as any such posts are rationally composed and civilized in tone. the current price is not even worth the cost of mining most people have paid imo. they have large reserves from proof of mining, but i doubt this coin has much life left anymore

LTCD ist the first coin i invested in (200k Coins) and before i only used Bitcoin on Blockchain Online Wallet

Maybe a stupid question but if i Transfer my 200k LTCD from Bittrex to the Windows Wallet.. what happens if my PC crashes or something? Are the coins lost then?

If I were you I wouldn't be so scared about the so called big whale. He/she has more than 134 BTC worth of coins, so you can be sure he or she will not dump with a massive loss.
The other way around I hope he/she is going to sell so the coins can be sucked up by more hands, since LTCD is one of the fastest growing coins in the market and we will do our best to keep it like so for a LONG time...
We have more than 1-1½ year of releases until now in our backpack and we will on regular basis continue to bring out special features.
As we promised the community from the start, LTCD is a coin for the long run.

About Bittrex. Just as curiosity.
I have noticed the deliberate bot pattern there.

I have checked many other quite new born or emerging cryptocurrencies which main trading exchange is Bittrex (sometimes they have some 2nd on or 3rd one like Cryptsy or Poloniex but the trade colume there is lower).

It appears that Bittrex bots tend to lower prices down to hover around certain BTC prices, ranging between

0.001, 0.0001, 0.00001, 0.000001, 0.0000001 BTC

up to

0.0014, 0.00014, 0.000014, 0.0000014, 0.00000014 BTC etc. (if the price is a bit larger than the decimation of 0.1 then it seems to be, because there is an interest in buying this certain cryptocurrency).


It seems self evident that prices very seldom reach more than these, like for example 0.00015, 0.000017, 0.0000016, 0.00000018 etc.
When this happens, it is becasue of sudden large amount of coin being purchased within short period of time. Then bots bring the price down again.

They use these bots delieberately to have the smallest prices to compete with other exchanges.

That's for the sake of your cryptos. Unless you are a speculant and spend thousands of BTC buying cheap cryptos on Bittrex and selling on another...
