Re: characteristics of fraudulent projects
by

Most fraudulent projects are quite easy to foretell. There are few characteristics that have been very common with projects that end up being fake and scam projects. One of the first way to know that a project is fraudulent is through their white paper. Many of them lacks professionalism, and fail to sell a proper idea. sometimes, whitepaper could be really good too, but project can be fraudulent. Another way to know is if the team members are not of credible characters, then the project is most like fake.

One of the best ways you are assured that you will be making profits off cryptocurrency without investing funds, and without the risk of losing money is by participating in airdrops, bounty, and giveaways. Although these are no longer as lucrative as they use to be. You can also to well for yourself by ensuring that you invest in really safe coins. this you can do by investing in top listed coins at least.

Re: Will Bitcoin mixers be considered illegal by worldwide governments?
by
Thefrolly
on 03/10/2019, 09:27:55 UTC
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency transactions are already being perceived as illegal, and promotes illegal transactions like money laundering, and in fact, terrorism. Bitcoin mixers is only going to act as a further disadvantage to the industry, and will cause more raised eyes towards the industry. This might in turn cause the government to further their plans towards banning cryptocurrencies.

When there is an increase in bitcoin hash rate, it invariably means that a bull season is coming for bitcoin. The same thing will very likely happen to Ethereum and other top cryptocurrencies. Now Bitcoin price is still on its low, but it will come back with force. Yes, Bitcoin has been undervalued for some time now, and this would restore back its glory.

There are a few number of good IEOs and ICOs in the market now. Our space has been invaded by the activities of scammers, and a lot of these projects are just an eye saw. If you are looking to invest in any, then you should be willing to make proper and adequate research by yourself to determine which of them suits you and is worthy of your time and investment.

Re: How to find scam coins
by

There are really no specific guidelines towards finding scam coins. Basically, there are just a few tips and tricks people tend to follow to help them what coin is safe to invest and what coin is not, and mostly scam. Research and knowledge are two weapons to equip yourself with in order not to fall for the scam coins.

Re: stick to the same option or switch to another option?
by
Thefrolly
on 03/10/2019, 09:06:48 UTC
There are a lot of options in the market and what you really want to do is entirely up to you. If your current options are not working out for you, and you no longer believe in the project, or you do not see it to have prospects, rather wasting time on that, you can just trade the coins, and switch to a more safer option. But don't forget, patience is a virtue, and it is one that is needed to survive in this market.

Re: What should we do ?

There is really nothimg illegal about hodling bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, and seeing that the transactions are usually anonymous, I think that you should go ahead and hodl your bitcoin. The governent are aiming to ban crypto without considering those who already have huge investments and interest for it, and I think that's just absurd. People should be allowed to make whatever choices they want to make with their money.

I have been seeing a lot of promotion on this coin lately, and from the little information I have been able to gather, it seems  like a really good project. i like the concept and idea behind it, but they should work more on making their team accessible. There are no useful data on the team members, and this might come off wrong to a lot of people.

Re: Why are Bill Gates & Buffet anti-crypto? Heavily invested in the current system
by

on 03/10/2019, 08:47:39 UTC
Bill gates and Buffet being anti crypto is just another set of normal individuals being anti crypto. It should really be a big deal. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and that's theirs. They shouldn't really be criticized for it. and come to think of it, not like their opinion is going to relatively increase or decrease the price of cryptocurrencies in the market, so why make it a big deal?

Re: Coins that have referral systems/programs
by

Coin Referrals allows for people to build a downlines in multiple businesses with very little effort. Some of these companies even have a tiered referral program. To so many, this is only but a ponzi scheme, and perceived as nothing but scam, so they might be skeptical about getting involved in it. Don't think it is good for the system since the public already have a bad opinion about them.

We cannot help but value and appreciate people are sincere, and honest especially when it comes to finances. In a world that scamming people of their money and day light robbery has almost become a norm, it is good, and a restoration of faith to see someone refund money sent to them by mistake, especially funds this huge.

Re: Cryptocurrency to be used in Money laundering and Terrorism?
by
Thefrolly
on 03/10/2019, 08:35:56 UTC
This is what people and the government say when they want to go against and attack cryptocurrency. It is an agreed upon fact that even before the existence of cryptocurrencies, money laundering and terrorism has always been a major crime, so cryptocurrency is not what is being used to foster these crimes. More energy should be focused on the crimes to tackle them, rather than spreading negativity on crypto.

Re: The crypto hell: the exchangers manipulation.
by

Many exchangers manipulate the market when they dump and sell their coins. Exchangers who involve in Pump and dump help in promoting a stock they hold and selling once the stock price has risen following the surge in interest as a result of the endorsement. This in turn causes a misleading appearance and could affect the prices

There are so many exchanges that allows for the trade of fiat with bitcoin, and this is the most popular method of acquiring bitcoin. Re: Are ICOs dead?
by
Thefrolly
on 03/10/2019, 08:04:33 UTC
ICOs are not exactly dead. The thing is, most people are finding it very difficult and unworthy of time, money and trust because a lot of them have proven to be fake and scams in recent times. No one wants to invest in an ICO only to find out that it was a scam, and that's why they are boycotting it. I think with a little regulation to prevent the flooding of these streets with scam ICOs, maybe investors faith in ICOs will be restored.

Re: WHY DOES BOUNTY PROJECTS TAKE TIME TO ENTER A MARKET
by
Thefrolly
on 02/10/2019, 14:37:08 UTC
A lot of these bounty projects take time to enter the market because they have a process they have to follow through, I guess. Most of these exchanges, especially the top rated ones would not like to list just any coin on their site. And again, I totally agree with the fact that they might be trying to avoid the massive dumps that usually come after the airdrops.
