Thank you all for your comments.

I just wanted to explain the math involved for newbies like me.

I'm glad that people now understand how activity works.

Sorry, but I didn't find any explanation of this formula the way i posted  Roll Eyes

How activity is calculated for beginners

As a beginner, I was curious about how activity works and made some research.
I found out that you can get your activity with this formula below:

Code:
activity = min(time*14, posts)
time is equal to each period of two weeks which you posted at least one time

This formula is composed basically of a min() function which returns the lowest value between the arguments.

For example, if you just registered and you posted 10 times in the first 2 weeks, you will have 10 points of activity, as seen in the formula below:

Code:
activity = min(1*14, 10) = 10

Now, if you posted 23 times in this period instead, your activity will be limited to just 14 points, according to the calculus below:

Code:
activity = min(1*14, 23) = 14

Therefore, we can see that the maximum activity we can have is 14,, being a completely unnecessary to post a lot of times to earn activity points. It is much better to invest in quality than quantity cause you have a greater chance to gain merit points from your hard work.

I hope you understand this simple math and if you have any question just comment below.

by
Thiggy01

Code:
atividade = min(tempo*14, posts)

Code:
atividade = min(1*14,10) = 10

Code:
atividade = min(1*14,23) = 14

I just found a thread created by theymos.about the recovering of hack accounts or lost passwords and it might be better to look for that newly created thread for theymos has decided to go for an old fashion way to recover bct accounts. Just send an email to the email address being provided so that your concerns and issues will be address by a team that was created for.the matter.

Yeah, I read that. If email recovery doesn't work we still have a way to recover our account by emailing recoveries...@bitcointalk.org with a signature.
That's great.

There's no such thing as certainty when it come to trading markets.
You have to be neutral to make make appropriate decisions about them.
Emotion tends make us do really bad trades and certainty is one of them.

I see more like a watch time to see if theses prices consolidate in these ranges like what happened in 2015 when price was sideways almost an entire year.
Then, you buy every bloodbath as you can get. Every panic, despair and anger trades you see on charts.

In the previous bull run of 2017, Eth had a return of 230x.
If you compare with 100x of Bitcoin, you can have an idea of the potential of Ethereum.
With a wide range of adoption i see at leas an easy 100x in the next bull run,
if you can buy the bottom, of course, which no one knows what it will be right now with this multi year bear market.

You must learn to make your own research in order to know what to buy.
Dont follow anyone blindly. Follow your instincts and wait for the right moment.
Patience is everything in this world of crypto trading.
