How to get rid of negative trust rating? Please Help
by

Hi,

I was just wondering how to get rid of this dumb negative trust rating.  The reason I call it dumb is because I just randomly got it one day for no reason what so ever and I definitely didn't deserve it at all.  You can go look back at any post I have ever made.  There is nothing there I promise.  I realize I am a newbie and really want to have a good and clean reputation and I really don't like this negative trust associated with me, and making people think they can't trust me or I'm trying to scam or whatever the case may be.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

Thank You

Ripple - Why is the value not higher with all it's features.
by

Hi,

I just kinda had a quick question and wanted to see what everybody thought.  My main question as the title states;  Why is Ripple or XPR not worth more or why is the value not higher?  With all of the possibilities it can offer and potential it has,  I would think it would be one of the most valued coins.  If you don't know what Ripple has to off, just go to their website and it explains it perfectly.  I don't wanna take up your time attempting to explain it all, and they can do it much better than myself.

Anyway, the only guesses I can somewhat come up with are,
  • It hasn't caught on yet.
  • It isn't worth a lot now but will be in the future
  • They don't have a very good wallet or hardly any choices for wallets
But that's really all I can think of why it's not worth very much.  But these things can be overcame fairly easily.  Especially with everything Ripple has to offer.  But I would like to hear from the community any answer and insight is greatly appreciated.

Thank You![/size]

Re: Asking For .2 - .5 Loan Please. Have Collateral

Okay I get I'm a newbie that's why I'm trying to build trust.  Ive had this account for over a year, but just don't post much.

And I still don't get how I'm doing a bait and switch.  I'm still offering my altcoins as collateral PLUS the other ideas I had listed.

Also I'd be willing and expect the lender to change the passwords of any account that would be used for collateral, during the agreed time.  So I don't get how I could get them back.
And if this is the case then I don't understand why people offer their bitcointalk accounts as collateral.  Wouldn't those be reversible too? So anyone offering that is trying to bait and switch like me?

No disrespect but I still disagree with your feedback saying I'm doing a bait and switch.  And there's still plenty of my other points that you didn't address, but its whatever.  I'm not looking to have an argument or anything.

So would everything be fixed if I just asked for a loan that's equal to my altcoins?  Cause I'm fine with that too.  But like I keep saying, I just was listing other options and potential ideas if a lender were to be open to one of them.

Alright I'll take you up on your offer and instead of proving you wrong, I hope we can end up being friends.   Cheesy

I'm very easy to get along with, I just really don't like being accused of something that I'm not doing, and would never even consider doing. I would guess most anyone would feel the same way.

First off, Will whoever gave me negative Trust Rating please fix it.  I have done nothing whatsoever to deserve that.  Like I said I am trying to build trust not the opposite, and giving me that now other people will think I have done something to deserve that, which I have not.  Please.

Secondly, I have ready the sticky's and other guidelines, but as I stated these were other just options and potential ideas if the lender was open to it.  I'm just trying to be flexible and while not everyone can sell those kind of accounts if I defaulted (which I won't because the job I've had for over 3 years pays me on payday, I will have the money to pay back guaranteed no matter what) there are definitely a good number of people that can easily sell those accounts for a very decent amount.

Also to go along with that, I listed those accounts as potential options for their worth, I listed them as options to especially show trust.  I'm not just gonna hand over my personal accounts with no intention of paying  back.  I would be screwed.

Third, I realize my altcoins isn't very much, but I have also said I am open to getting whatever the lender feels comfortable lending,  As well as being open to a lenders ideas or different types of collateral they would accept.  Like I said trying to be flexible and accommodating.

Fourth, and Lastly and Definitely Not Least,  Vod, Dude, seriously please don't post a comment like that when you have literally no idea at all who I am what my intentions are.  It honestly sucks man cause I'm on here trying to build reputation and trust, be open, flexible, etc. and then you come on the thread and post that I'm trying to use an of bait and switch scam?

Seriously, name one thing that I did to remotely deserve that comment, or that accuse me of something that is completely a lie.  I'm not gonna take this much time defending myself and get like this if I was trying to scam.

The funny thing is I literally wouldn't even have a clue where I'd start if I used social engineering to reverse online accounts.  Trust me I'm not even that tech-savy, and honestly I am not a good liar, so I why would I try to social engineer anything?

It just sucks man cause I'm not like that and am the farthest thing from it, and trying to prove it, but now people can see your unsubstantiated and ridiculous comment and now think I'm untrustworthy or a scammer.  Not to mention my now negative Trust Rating on top of that.  So I'd really appreciate you if you'd removed it, or made another comment disregarding it.

And if or when I do get a loan, I hope I can show and prove myself and show how uncalled for your comment was.

If you made it down to here and read all of this, I give you props and really appreciate hearing me out Smiley

Hey,

Good to meet you!  But I have about 1.21 of ETH and 1.1265 of Monero.  I'm also willing to use other forms if you have ideas.

I can let you hold my PayPal Account which is verified, with bank and cards attatched. and is a Business account with a lot of recent transactions and very high limits.  I also have an account on AlphaBay Marketplace which has a high trust level.  Oh and I also have a Virwox account (where you buy btc with paypal) with very high buy limits  and discounts on fees when buying.

So all these accounts are my main personal accounts and have been aged a long time, all have high and very high limits, and all are in perfect standing. Of course my account here is a newbie since I just read a lot of posts and usually don't comment, anyways.  But there's just some other ideas.  So just let me know what you think and if you have any other.

Thank you!

Asking For .2 - .5 Loan Please. Have Collateral
by
ThomasRozinski
on 15/02/2017, 01:15:24 UTC
Hi, as title states, I am asking for a .2 to .5 loan.  I am very flexible and will do whatever you need and will provide whatever makes you comfortable to loan.  I know I am a newbie but I do have collateral, and am also trying to build a very good reputation for the future.  Brief details are listed below.  If you need more information feel free to pm me, or if you go to my profile, there are other ways to get ahold of me for a quicker reply (in most cases).  And I will be happy to provide you with any inquiries, information, etc.  Thank you in advance, it is greatly appreciated.

[Loan Amount:   .2 - .5
Interest Rate:     Your Choice (0 - 20%) I would guess somewhere in there.
Length Of Loan:  Friday, Feb. 24th, I get paid that day.
Collateral:           I have Ethereum and Monero I can give to hold, I can give this account.  And I am open to any other type of collateral you will accept to make you comfortable.
Reason:               I just need an advance before I get paid on the 24th, so no matter what I will have the loan amount (and more) ready to be paid back to you.  And I'm hoping and will even try to pay back early.

Again if any other information or anything is needed, please feel free to get a hold of me, and I will be happy to answer and provide whatever is necessary.

Thank You

Re: I Have A Unique & Awesome Idea For a New Bitcoin Website, But I Need Help.

If you have some idea you already in good start and now you know many people are not trusting that newbie offering this awesome idea that honestly investors also no idea if you are legit or not..
Can you explain what can of idea and put some image link that we can see what you are talking about or what gambling website that can be unique.. honestly i have also  idea and unique but i already suggest to other people here but until now no one are starting a website what i giving idea..
Much better to start your idea with your own with test coins or demo plays. if it is attracted well maybe some investors will need it before they can trust you need to run that site in few months or weeks before you get paid or something.  because your standing is newbie..
If the idea is as good as he says then it will be a mistake to share it here, personally what I will do is to look for established casinos and offer my idea for sell, if it is really good I’m sure casinos will pay good money for it.

I actually like that idea a lot.  Especially if I could get something in the contract I make with them where I would receive a percentage or something as a monthly/quarterly residual income, or something similar.  I don't know if I would do that with this particular idea because I want to do it myself, but I have other ones that I probably will do this for.  And also just so clarify, this idea isn't so much under "gambling"  but more under trading forex or binary options.  And also the way my idea works, I don't need nearly the bank roll a casino needs, because the way it works, the majority the money or bitcoin people are getting is from other players or customers.  You could say think of it as poker  Shocked

Firstly, you should find potential investors and then pitch to them your idea. Or you can choose to acquire the knowledge you need to make your "unique & awesome" business idea a reality first then build it up yourself. Don't buy a domain and hosting yet until you have a solid plan and investments.

We don't have much to say or suggest because you did tell us what's your idea about (even though your post is so long).

(Sorry for the self-promotion, if you'd like to pitch you idea and ask for investment, you can do so at TBZ's Raise Investment (external link)).

I can't suggest him to find an investor for this early stage, his site doesn't guarantee to earn fast success if he can habe investor beside him and i doubt his legitimacy and sick to see som newbie who's offering that, and the only thing he must do for now is to became more informative to tell some proper details about this plan and he must have fundings for here own and make his site successfull first before asking some investors to invest at him so that people have assurance that they can earn and will not be scammed.

You're right too. However everyone got to start somewhere. He can choose the slow route of getting reputation at Bitcointalk via doing trading and making quality posts before he/her pitch the idea to investors. Or he can choose the risky but fast route of pitching his idea to some investors that is willing to hear it out - this route is only if he/she have a very good and innovative idea.

And I agree with you that he/she should give us more details about the business idea. If it is a very unique and innovative business idea then he/she shall consider only telling a bit.

I agree with both of you guys, and thank you everyone that has replied.  And like you said I have to start somewhere so this is where I'm starting.  To address my newbie status, it does suck, and I am willing to do as you suggested to gain trust as well as share more information about myself.

To address the ambiguity of my idea and how I didn't explain very much is because like people have mentioned, I don't wanna give away too much of my concept.  I've been trying to figue out how to give more details while still not revealing it in its entirety.  Should I just explain it and hope no one beats me to it?  What do you guys think?  I do want to just explain it so everyone can understand it, and tell me what they actually think about my idea.  I just don't want to regret it.

And one last thing is I do have some capital to put towards this in bitcoin and cash, but as almost everyone said I will most likely need an investor to get it all up and running.  And I am willing to show my personal Facebook page or LinkIn to gain more trust as well.  But do I do that on this thread or just give it to potential investors?  Thanks again for all the help guys I really appreciate it!

I Have A Unique & Awesome Idea For a New Bitcoin Website, But I Need Help.
by
ThomasRozinski
on 03/01/2017, 11:42:42 UTC
So like I said, I Have A Unique & Awesome Idea For a New Bitcoin Website, But I Need any help, advise, tips I can get.

So without going into to much detail, my idea could be considered as a trading/gambling website, but it definitely has skill involved.  And I would say the skill aspect definitely out weights the gambling aspect in terms of how profitable people are.

What I need to know is how would I go about creating this website.  I have been thinking about trying to make it myself, but I don't think I have enough knowledge to make the website how I am picturing it in my head.  Do I hire some one?  I am definitely willing to learn how to make it so it is a high quality site and accurately reflects my vision for it.  I don't know if I should pay for a domain and hosting, and try to go from there, or what.  So as you might be able to tell, I'm a little lost and not sure which direction I should go from here.

I am determined to make this site a reality, no matter what it takes, the reasons being is I really do think it could be a big one, there's nothing else even close to it out there right now, it has a ton of potential for myself as well as everyone who goes to it to make a lot of money  Grin

But if anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.  Even if you want to work on it with me, let me know that as well.  Like I said, I am determined to make this happen, so I am open to doing whatever I can to do so.  I will be looking forward to what you guys have to say.  And if you want to talk to me personally and not reply to the OP you can email me at thebitcoingenius@gmail.com or hit me up on jabber at anaughtymouse@xmpp.jp.  Email is probably better, but either one is fine.  Or you can go to my profile, and there are other ways of getting ahold of me there.  Thanks again for helping! Help With Electrum Please!?
by
ThomasRozinski
on 30/05/2016, 06:06:32 UTC
Hey,

I'll try to keep this short.  I have been using Electrum for a few months now (3 - 4)  And I haven't had any problems at all, and it was becoming if not already my favorite wallet.  I tried opening it about a week ago, and it opens, but I am not able to see the actual screen/UI/Window that is the actual application.  For some weird reason, it shows a taskbar icon, and I can hover over it and it acts like any other application I have running, but when I click on it, I still don't get an actual window where I can us the app.  It also loads in the Tray, and I can see the Electrum icon, and when I hover over that I can see my balance.  And when I right click it I have the options of show/hide my wallet, or to close Electrum.  But still I never can get the actual window to show so I can use the app. I have completely uninstalled everything and reinstalled Electrum multiple times, and every time I still am having the same problem.  I have tried clicking on the executable file from different locations, or running it as an administrator as last ditch efforts and not knowing what else to do.  If someone could please help me I would greatly greatly appreciate it.  Thank you in advance!

Re: BITCOIN CASINO - PARTNERSHIP OFFER

on 07/02/2016, 21:26:11 UTC
Hey I am very interested in you offer! And probably can invest the amount of BTC that you are needing.  I have been wanting to create my own bitcoin casino sooooo badly.  And although I don't play Mine Craft, I know how huge it is, and really like your idea.  But I definitely do have my fair share of online bitcoin casino's.  I have tested almost all of them.  I don't have very extensive technological or coding skills.  But other than that I can do and am good at a lot of things.  I would not just want to give you investment and then sit back and have you guys do all the work.  I would love to be a part of it, and contribute to the project as much as possible, and have us all work together.  I think we could really make this a big, successful, and profitable project and business.  And hopefully make enough we could start to make and open other bitcoin businesses, gambling and/or websites.  Just let me know! I would love to help in any way I can.  My contact info should be on my profile page, but if not my contacts are below.
