For those who think this coin is dead: Thorcoin is only at the beginning of it's life. I would recommend to everyone to mine it while the block rewards are big (and while the network is very low due to the fact that coin is off everybody's radar) and to buy it while it's ridiculously cheap.
I would also like to announce that I am working on new big giveaway website for Thorcoin (that will also include new block explorer) where you will be able not only to signup to receive free Thorcoins but also have all relevant information about Thorcoin and of course, have some fun!

Volume has to do with exchanges and exchanges have to do with volume. It's a catch-22.
I think exchanges will list the coin based on mining difficulty as well as volume. Thorcoin is getting more difficult to mine and supply will also start to dry up at some point. It doesn't seem like it now but it can happen. I expect if we land one exchange in combination with two cuts in payouts next month Thorcoin will be fine.

Exchanges can list super innovate coins or coins with really good community support in addition to trade volume criteria. Small exchange can pick you if you're a new promising coin. With current trade volume no exchange will be interested in adding thor.
If somebody can become a dev, that would be nice, but the premine should go to him aswell.

Support programs like paper wallets, phone apps that are secure (unlike Bitcoin at the moment), and as much point of sale as we can get increase value. Scarcity doesn't make value as much as support does however 42 coin is extremely expensive compared to Bitcoin because of scarcity.
Before everyone gets on me about how Bitcoin isn't secure on a phone. I based that on news stories I read on the internet. My opinion is if you want to loose Bitcoin just put it on a cell phone.

Yeah none of my coins on cryptopool.eu are confirming for me either. thor.pools.mindfox.net is working and confirming OK
Continue using Mindfox until Cryptopool resolves these issues.
