Please someone of middlecoin check that Transaction ( http://middlecoin.com/reports/191Y8iU9PtPr7XsGVi3gdFMdVwmH9XTzqR.html )

As far as I understand 0.36333083 BTC were sent ?
But I did not got them into my btc wallet yet, any explanation ?

Thanks!

If your address is correct the coins are there. The transaction is long confirmed and the network verifies that the coins were sent to that address, so if you don't have them, there's an issue somewhere on your end.

I switched to Hashcows since H2O doesn't seem to be willing to fix the problem. There definitely is something wrong with the pool and he just doesn't acknowledge.
Look at the top address. Just made .4 today when usually his balance is above 1, maybe 2 BTC per day.

Looks like H2O doesn't want to earn money anymore

Except hashcows is having problems too....

Up that intensity. On my 6990 it peaks around 17, unfortunately my computer is unusable but you can play with it to find an acceptable rate/usability.

Okay very many such thanks guys, you've been wow!
so I'm using cgminer 3.5 and a .bat file to launch it :
cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://doge.scryptpools.com:3333 -u mylog -p mypass  --worksize 256 --lookup-gap 3 --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 2 --intensity 20 --no-submit-stale --queue 2

running at 500kHs
let's play with that mystic thread-concurrency parameter now

Also, intensity isn't necessarily a card specific thing, sometimes higher values (like 20) might actually have you losing hashes. Play with 17-19 just to test where the rates lie.

stupid thread is stupid.  Have some patience, let BigVern sort out the problems.  He's seen explosive growth, and obviously is having difficulty keeping up with it.  He can't just magically appoint 30 people to start handling support for him either. They've been having issues as a result of this growth for at least the past couple weeks so I don't really understand why you have that much BTC sitting in there if you're that upset about delays, since they've been obviously ongoing.

GPU mining is already happening. mtrlt, who made reaper, has been mining it for a while, and it's easy to assume others are also. He has no immediate plans on releasing source because he can still make a decent amount with his cards.  Makes sense to me, and you can't really fault the guy for it when he's done the work himself.

It's already being mined on GPU and has been likely for a while.  The OpenCL is still being optimized though.

Mincoins and Solidcoin. Ha ha, yeah the market for trading those coins is HUGE  Roll Eyes
Mincoin is a scam and solidcoin is a dead currency... damn when can I start trading?

Yea, SolidCoins are kinda meh.

I can see your concerns with MinCoin. A large portion were mined in the first 3 days, I think it's around 10%. But doesn't Satoshi Nakamoto hold around 10% of all bitcoins in circulation?

Quote
Although Bitcoin users are anonymous in the sense that they aren’t identified by name, their activity is logged in a universal register of Bitcoin activity known as the blockchain. By analyzing public blockchain data, Bitcoin blogger Sergio Demian Lerner discovered someone who has been mining bitcoins—running the software that introduces new bitcoins into the system—since block 1.

In other words, this early miner was involved in creating the very first bitcoins.

While it can’t be proven conclusively that the miner is Nakamoto, Lerner is convinced by the consistent mining patterns, which have stayed the same since Bitcoin’s first block.

And besides, he adds, “this entity is the only entity that has shown complete trust in Bitcoin, since it hasn’t [spent] any coins.”

http://www.dailydot.com/business/satoshi-nakamoto-bitcoin-fortune-100-million/

Yet, Bitcoins are seen as legitimate. Isn't that a little bit of a double standard?

MinCoin is actually relatively innovative. It has scrypt for its algorithm, very fast transaction times, low market cap. I'm not trying to push it, just saying it doesn't really look like a 'scamcoin.' SolidCoin is kinda whatever, but I don't think you should lump it in with MinCoin.

Bitcoin was the first of its kind, and was an entirely new concept, you can't really fault someone for that.

Mincoin on the other hand, was a very carefully orchestrated launch, I guarantee you the exchange was in the works the same time the coin was, and 8 hours to mine all the bonus blocks meant that 9.36% of all the coins that will ever exist were mined by whoever caught onto it in the first 8 hours, and obviously people with low latency (such as the first node on the network) have a huge advantage in early mining of new coins.

Re: Vircurex DOWN AGAIN. Move to MCXNow?
by
Thracky
on 15/05/2013, 22:07:39 UTC
And here it goes again - mcxnow spammers. How much you got to post it here?
This is what pisses me off.

You have a bunch of stupid bars next to your username so you feel you can say "oh yeah mcxnow sucks"

Well hey, how about you substantiate your claim? WHY should vircurex be supported over mcxnow?

It isn't spam if your position has no fundamental basis.

Leave my bars alone  Grin

Well, mcxnow spammers are pissing me off with their amateurish attempts to promote (read: spam) that site here in planned and often paid campaigns.

But I've seen one banned this morning, hopefully that's what is going to happen with all of you until you stop opening thread after thread after thread about it.

And I don't give a shit, let alone support vircurex but I don't see vircurex members spamming this forum unlike mcxnow one.

Wow, guys, if MCXNow promotion is getting spammy... please stop.  I am positive no one is getting paid to promote this site.  The problem is that the exchange is good.  No seriously it is good.  However, RealSolid is a bit *notorious* around these parts, so any project he creates is branded a scam.  (Do your own research, however, I personally think much of the historical accusations have been unwarranted and based on disagreements with the guy-- not scamming behavior.)

Anyway, I'm actually going to request that my fellow MCXNow fans keep it cool.  I believe in the exchange because it's fast, reliable and cheap.  If it really is a good site, and we're not a bunch of liars, I think we can and will attract new adopters by simple organic discussion.  It may not happen as fast as you want so that we can get more MNC movement, but that's ok.  Otherwise, spamming BTC Talk just makes the site appear illegit.

Actually people were being paid to spam mincoin, by RealSolid, the owner of the exchange who obviously has a financial interest in seeing both mincoin and mcxnow succeed. I believe the price was 10 MNC per thread posted? Any further bets that SandyCohen and RealSolid are the same person?

Interesting. However, wouldn't the SC already in existence be equivalent to an 'mc premine'? Except with this model, all you have is a 'premine' and then a chance to gamble on what amounts to a coin toss...

Perhaps I am mistaken. If not...Damn, that sounds really bad.

That's exactly what it is.

On the nose, RS has instructed people to do just that. Apparently, MNC is just there for 'testing purposes' in preparation for microscam. '1/1 sc/mc' seems to be the exchange plan...That's gonna be an awesome premine.

There's no mining at all for microcash actually, it'll be some random investment thing where you invest your coins for 10 rounds in which there's a 50/50 chance it could increase or decrease each round.

I agree that he's had some good ideas, but he's just so goddamn manipulative, I can't trust a thing he says as being fact.

There was some thread not long ago that seemed to imply the MicroCrash scam might be starting up again too.

To do with that same exchange also, advising to move your solidcoins there ready to trade them in for MicroCrash coins.

I just dumped the last of my solidcoins there, I'm done with his crap.

^ I've noticed those names too. They behave exactly as you said.

Wanna know something even more enlightening? The guy running the exchange is none other than the well known scammer 'RealSolid'. He abused his control over the centralized solidcoin (suddenly reduce block rewards to under .1 SC per block 'thereby increasing the value of SC already in circulation), and also scammed his own delusional little followers out of 250 BTC so he could release microscam. Of course, he's nearly as late as BFL.

These people have but one objective: helping themselves to the money of anyone who is foolish enough to follow.

I am fully aware of the owner, I refrained from mentioning it because I didn't want this to turn into a RS hate thread.  I used to have respect for him, I was an early adopter/supporter of solidcoin, and I'm now just realizing I was just another person he sucked in to his little games. Tongue

Also, I have this sinking feeling that SandyCohen (mincoin dev) is actually him.  Why else would he just show up again and make an exchange for it?

Re: The end of Alt-Coins

The thing that makes me laugh is that some of these alt coins are literally turning into circlejerking cults where the leaders make large profits and the idiots that follow them will eventually lose.

Mincoin is a prime example of this. An unheard of developer (which is obviously an alias for someone else) releases a coin by way of proxy (SuperTramp) Over the first 8 hours (which was supposed to be 3 days) 9.36% of all the coins that will ever exist were mined.  How long will it take for the next 936000 coins to be mined?  325 days given the block target of 1 minute and 2880 coins mined per day. Seems a tad lopsided.

What happened after that?  A new exchange shows up to support it, the owner of that exchange starts giving away money to people who spam about Mincoin in various places, and now gives away 10 MNC for simply making a trade on said exchange, encouraging pointless trading, and we now have a solid collection of ridiculous people who seem to want the same kind of gratification and sense of belonging that a cult provides. zacho56 runs a silly blog (and apparently has a drug problem, and uses the same nickname everywhere on the internet), tyler of altclub profits from prostitution, vipah, who obviously holds a lot of mincoin, will go ape shit on anyone who wants to discuss the facts about how ridiculous the early mining bonuses were.  You can clearly see people who hold leadership roles and people who can't see what's going on, or don't care because they feel part of something.

People are being scammed into throwing more of their money into this coin, not realizing that the only reason it's going up is because hardly anyone is mining it (and even if they were, the amounts are irrelevant compared to the early adopters) and their tiny little community keeps putting more money into the system of maybe 4-500 users (blatant guesstimate, I have no data to back that up ;-)

whew. had to get that out. Smiley

Maybe nobody will care but I found this personally interesting so I will share.

Altclub.co's nameservers are:

Name Server    NS1.LULULIST.COM
Name Server    NS2.LULULIST.COM

Also, the server IP for altcoin.co resolves back to root.lululist.com.

So what is lululist you ask?  Well it's pretty much a craigslist for hookers... err I mean "escorts" Cheesy

I'm sure this "tyler" is a stand up guy.

Malwarebytes has been blocking a lot of attempted access to my cnc, btc and yac wallets.  This all started happening when I started mining yacoin.  Does this mean my system is infected?  I did a scan and it found two infected files, "cgminer.exe and minerd.exe".  I deleted both but still getting notification about block attempts to my wallets.

Nothing is missing yet from my wallets.  I would hate to reinstall the OS.  Any other apps to remove malware/trojan?

tb

Really!? are you kidding me?

You aren't aware that mining software gets flagged by almost every av/malware scanner out there?

*facepalm*
