The price you indicated and quoted the source has already been exceeded, so returning to this mark is a matter of time.

Re: Trump selling his own token, is it a joke?

It seems to me that this token has nothing to do with Trump.

Creating his token is not a new news and has nothing to do with Bitcoin.

But at least under Biden the sec moved to enact some legislation.
Old candidates, new elections.

Anyone considering to vote for Biden should read the lyrics of her song WEX and consider if you want to vote for someone who is associating with someone like Cardi B.

Someone please clarify me this: has BlackRock made it official that they are interested in bitcoin? Please don't reply with a tweet. I mean actual announcement by something like blackrock.com.

Good luck confiscating bitcoin like they confiscated gold. I unfortunately lost all my private keys in an unfortunate boating accident.
Could you share some details? I'm really curious. I know several similar stories from the news, but I have never met a person who could just talk about it like that. I don’t know what amount we’re talking about, but I think your sense of regret is simply immeasurable. My condolences! In the end, everything that doesn't happen happens for the better.

You can't do anything about it until people start learning from their mistakes.

And if someone has not yet realized that any KYC passed will backfire on them in the end, then there is nothing to be done about it. Moreover, state structures will soon begin to more strictly direct ordinary users towards services with different levels of verification. I am deeply convinced that sooner or later the US government will classify all services that exchange bitcoins anonymously as strictly prohibited. I believe it is not a problem for them to refer to any law, for example, section 311 (of the U.S. Patriot Act).

Re: I think it's time to leave Binance, any alternatives?
by
Three Millionth User

Funnily enough I've had some issues with Binance recently, too. I've been using their services for many years, a binance card user as well with decent trading volume. A couple of weeks ago they started spamming me with "Source of Wealth documents needed" - I provided everything I had and after some time they backed off but then I got a warning because "You have sent and received funds to/from gambling services which is prohibited as per our terms". I searched through their ToS and they make no mention of gambling services, anywhere. When I pointed this out the reply I got was "This is our terms, do not receive funds from any gambling services or you will be banned".
I read all the nonsense that spammers from sig campaigns write in this thread, and I stumbled upon your post. If a week ago my experiences were fairly easy, now I am seriously thinking about withdrawing my funds from Binance as quickly as possible. The only question is whether it is worth using a centralized exchange to exchange and then withdraw coins from the exchange? I’m just worried that even if I don’t store my coins on Binance, but simply replenish my account in order to make an exchange, they can also block me without any explanation (despite the fact that I have a verified account).

While I am sceptical about FUD around Binance, given that information about their reserves is publicly available.

However, I am starting to worry about my savings as I can see that the colours are thickening. Can anyone suggest an alternative to Binance?

I am touched by your story to the core.  Undecided

A long time ago I knew a girl who had a similar problem. The more I got to know her, the more I realised that she had a bad memory, as she got lost in places that even a child could not get lost in. I really hope that the feelings you described do not weaken your mind over the years (loss of clarity of past memories).

Take care of yourself.

But then even bitcoin is pegged to a fiat, to make it usable. I am trying to understand is there a better solution to this pegging to government-controlled fiat currencies?
Bitcoin is pegged to fiat as long as you think so. 1 BTC = 1 BTC

Re: Why putin choose winter?
by
Three Millionth User
on 13/02/2022, 17:53:30 UTC
Have You ever heard of "Rasputitsa"? Russia is not only known for winter but also for Rasputitsa. In spring and autumn, it's impossible to move with heavy machinery through unpaved roads because of the rain and melting snow. Those heavy Russian tanks will be useless in such conditions so it's better to do offensive in winter when the ground is solid. War can not be won only by machinery but with manpower. And to properly fed the huge Russian army they need money for the provision and salary of the soldier. We all know Russia's economic condition right now so it's totally suicidal for Russia to start a full-scale war.
Have you been brainwashed by propaganda news reports?
  • If one of the Russians reads this word "Rasputitsa", he will laugh out loud, by the way, precisely because of the illiteracy of the opponents and because of the neglect of obvious things, Russia has won almost all wars.
  • This is not the middle of the twentieth century and Ukraine and Russia have extremely developed infrastructure, (yes, the quality of the roads sucks), but this is enough to lead an offensive in any weather. And if you didn’t know, heavy Russian tanks move perfectly off-road.
  • The size of the Russian ground forces is only 280,000 people, which is half that of the United States, despite the fact that the United States is surrounded by an ally and militarily underdeveloped Mexico and Canada, while Russia has the longest borders in the world and borders with dozens of countries.

The kids are sleeping, but now my wife took my spot so I'm resorting to mobile.
Curfew starts again in 4 minutes, so nothing else to do.
It's almost the same for me, but cartoons save me.

I had to review all possible cartoons about foxes at least twice, can someone advise me something new?

Re: The curious case of the forum's three millionth user
by
Three Millionth User
on 07/12/2021, 17:28:45 UTC
A troll account created by someone who should know better. Pretending to be a newbie when they're clearly not. No big loss here, I hope it stays dormant forever.
You are deeply mistaken, because judging by my humble history of messages, I hardly look like a troll. Moreover, in the context of your caustic response, you are more like a troll than I am, but I understand your feelings, and as before, you will continue to remain on my real list of trust.
The Custom Title raised questions about this user being created by an admin or not, but nobody found out for sure how that Custom Title appeared.
Until today, I thought that "the custom" title was assigned to me by Cyrus, because in the discord someone said that he was the one who added me to the white list, now I know it was teymos, so I want to thank him for that!

It was also interesting to observe this user's activity in the short amount of time while s/he was present on the forum (at the moment of speaking s/he is offline since June 5th, 2021). The one behind the account tried to act cool in the first topic, then got involved in popular forum areas, such as WO, CM topic, Merit Cycling Club etc. I felt like the one behind the account tried to get as much exposure as possible.
I think everyone will agree that only a mentally retarded person might think that an account with such an identifier and with such a username belongs to a newbie, especially since it was quite difficult to guess the right time for registration, (the last actually registered ID does not match the data of bpip/Largest profile on Bitcointalk). And I'm not Italian, I just added a list of prominent representatives of the Italian community to my trust list to give you that impression.

But still, I'm not one of those who know everything, that's why I still consider myself a beginner. I have never used PGP, but I signed a bitcoin message once or twice, and if I had to do it again, I would again look for some kind of instruction. It would seem that there are many primitive things that after a while (after registration) every forum member should do at least once, but all these years I was so busy with my real worries that I missed it all.

But the most important thing is that this account only temporarily belongs to me as a trophy account that will not be monetization. The thing is, in the long term, I'm thinking about introducing my son to bitcoin and this forum in particular, and I wanted to prepare the ground for this. That is why I said what I said!

I hope that by the time we see the ten millionth registration the forum will not have undergone significant changes and the newcomers of the future will have to deal with the version of the forum that exists in its current form. Although in 10 years the information on Bitcointalk will still be relevant, I really hope that for future newbies we will not have to create simplified guides, despite the fact that each generation becomes dumber. I hope in the future the situation with activity will become clearer, and we will see an influx of fresh blood!

and

It is a vanity account. Similar to how some people use vanity addresses or vanity license plates. I think most people who are using a vanity address have received at least one transaction before even thinking about creating a vanity address. Similarly, it is very rare for someone to have a vanity license plate on their first car.
Remember your sarcastic answer.
Forgive me if my questions may seem stupid to you. I'm new at this.
I doubt this, lol.
Now, if you can answer these questions, then I can agree with your opinion.

1. Is there a chance Theymos saw the contents of thread 3? Internal settings of the forum.
2. Sirius or did Satoshi remove this thread? I ask because I see Theymos's account was registered two months after the forum was created.
3. I would like to know if there is a way to see which of the users posted messages in thread number 3?

1, 2, and 4 exist in the staff forum. 3 was permanently deleted at some point (it must have contained Satoshi's real name and address).

Ho trovato questo articolo interessante e semplice su BTC che voglio tradurre, o almeno pubblicare per me stesso, ma non so come posizionare il testo a destra oa sinistra delle immagini. Aiuto!

second vaccine was no arm ache. just a lil fatique at most.

all in all.. id rather have arm flu(vaccine) then lung flu(covid)
Did you get the second shot right away? After all, it is necessary that at least six months pass between vaccinations, as my attending physician explained to me.
