I used to use it a lot in the early days as it was one of the few places where you could buy and sell with a decent amount of security.

It's probably been about 5 years since I last used it though as there are many quicker and simpler methods these days however my first thought was also this...

I thought it would be sold instead of shutting down because it is one of the most known exchanges in the btc community.

According to the coindesk article volumes have slumped but it's still doing $5-$7 million per week.  Surely there's got to be some profit to be made.

Maybe the announcement will generate some interest from a buyer.

I have a 6 cube setup at my office (UK), but not touched it in at least 2 years, so will see if I can get it running and get back to you with some speeds and die situation, not even sure if I can remember how to use it Smiley

I know there are quite a few dead dies, it arrived liked that so KNC shipped me extra cubes, hence why there are 6 cubes instead of 4, plus I'm sure I used GenTarkin's firmware on them which optimised the voltages and clocks.

For the last couple of weeks AM just wouldn't start, occasionally it'd briefly appear in task manager then close, but most of the time nothing.

Figured I'd just try a new install but that's not working either, this problem was reported back in 2014 and it was due to .net framework but I've double checked and I do have 4.8 installed.
,
Windows 10, logged in as an administrator. Any ideas ?

Just in case anyone else gets this issue, Patricke identified it as a problem with my .net framework.  Sadly in Windows 10 there is no way to remove it or re-install and none of the many fixes on the internet worked either.  So the only option was a fresh install of windows, but then decided I may as well try the Windows 11 update, was pretty quick, retained all my settings and files and now everything works normally again.

In the balance section I'm sure I used to have a bitcoin xpub key to show the total balance, but following a pc upgrade I'm starting from scratch and can't seem to get it to work anymore, just returns unable to get balance.

Tried tweaking it to use https://blockchain.info/balance?active=[address] but that didn't work either.

Can anyone help ?

So as I've had loads of PM's all in the same vein, I'll just say this once then I don't have to keep repeating myself and answering them all.

This thread is only active because somebody bumped it asking if they were still available, I hadn't even considered selling them after there was no interest initially because they are now insanely profitable, that's why there are none for sale anywhere, except for some obvious scams on ebay or sketchy alibaba sellers.

The last time I shipped a miner abroad it arrived broken, it was a total nightmare to deal with and I ended up losing a load of money, so under no circumstances will I ship these anywhere outside the UK.

Finally, I am perfectly happy to keep these and continue mining, but if you want them don't ask me what I will take, just make me a realistic offer that will tempt me to sell.

Hello, do you still have the miners?

If so, please reach me through Telegram. I can’t reach you through PM.

I’ll take them all if for a fair price.

https://t.me/andrefconde

Cheers

Yes these are still available.

Sorry, didn't realise my PM's were restricted, I've fixed it now, should be able to message.

I do still have these, but obviously wouldn't sell them at that price now, given they are impossible to get hold of and are making over $50 a day each.

Send me an offer in the thread or by PM, as before don't want to ship them out of the UK.

Official from Inno....

Recently, due to the continuous expansion of the Ethash algorithm, the Ethereum DAG file has broken through the 4G edge, leading to an increase in the rejection rate of A10 Pro and causing fluctuations in computing power. In order to provide users with a better experience, inno technical team launched the Beta version of the firmware two weeks ago. After repeated trials and improvements for two weeks, the official version of the upgraded firmware has been successfully released. This official version of the firmware effectively fixes the shortcomings of the intermediate Beta version, which will further improve the computing power and increase the stability of the machine. It is strongly recommended that you download the new firmware as soon as possible and complete the upgrade according to the process.

The following are the official upgrade firmware download links for the 5G version and 6G version of A10 Pro. Please observe for 24 hours after the upgrade. If there is any abnormality, please contact Inno after-sales support staff in time:

I'm on f2pool. Have you got a lot of rejected shares too? Since epoch 370 (and its restart of the A10) my accepted shares are up to 91%.

I will give f2pool a try see if it's any better, I'm on nanopool at the moment.

Awesome miner shows that they are hashing at the usual speed (~530MH), but it's the increase in rejects that's causing the lack of poolside hashrate.

Update: The new DAG file is getting eaten better by the A10 Pro - back to 500MH/s today.

PS: I tried the new Firmware yesterday and the result was even worse  Sad 330MH/s and 30% rejected shares. But its running fine now.

Not working as well for me sadly

Some machines I upgraded to the beta version and it improved them from 430MH to to around 470MH, but the latest DAG change has killed them again and down as low as 400MH

I have some other machines remotely hosted that haven't been upgraded yet so are still on the 1st Sept and they are now abysmal ranging from 198 - 390MH with the average being around 340MH

What pool are you on ?

It's a problem with all machines on all pools.

Innosilicon have just released a beta firmware that is supposed to fix the problem.

My friend is experiencing this issue too, he has 5 units on 2 different location mining to f2pool

Thanks, swapped a few of mine to the 2miners pool to see if that made any difference but it didn't, so it's not an issue with the pool.

Anyone running any Innosilicon A10 5GB on Nanopool ?
by
Tigggger
on 18/10/2020, 08:43:26 UTC
Had a few of these for a while now and they have been fine averaging the advertised 500MH each at the pool.

As you know, when the DAG changes they start again with the tuning and it takes around an hour to get back up to normal speed.

However on the last DAG change the speed on them all has plummeted and they are only getting around 430MH.

Wondering if anyone else has observed this.  I have machines at 2 locations which sort of rules out it being an issue at my end.

[WTS] [UK ONLY] Innosilicon A10 Pro 5gb ETH Master (5x Available)
by
Tigggger
on 13/09/2020, 11:51:11 UTC
These are 1 month old and provide the advertised hashrate of 500MH at the pool, they are the 5GB versions so are good until around October 2022, all updated to the latest firmware

I am happy to escrow the sale through SebastianJu one of the longest serving forum escrows who I have used multiple times over the years.

Payment by Cash or BTC/ETH at Coinbase Rate.

You are welcome to come and view the machines working, I am in Lancashire, pay and then take it/them away.

Current best price online with the UK resellers is £4500 but I wouldn't trust their in stock claims, Cheapest EU Reseller is £4250, cheapest US/China reseller is £3600 and then add 20% import duty and a weeks shipping, plus all the reseller stock is reconditioned units, these were brand new, the next batch from Innosilicon is not until November 15th.

Looking for around £3750 each, but make me an offer, the more you want the cheaper I will go and if you want all 5 I will personally deliver them to you anywhere in the mainland UK.

As per the title I do not wish to ship these abroad, sorry but have had bad experiences in the past doing this.

- BILLING CHANGE - due to worse time in the world and high electricity costs the billing system is changed. You (user) will benefit from this change but we(smos) will loose some on that "feature". Until now you was charged for "number of online rigs in last 24h", and now you are charged for "number of online rigs in last 1 hour". This means that if your rigs are working 12 hours daily during cheaper electricity price then your account will be charged for 12 hours instead of 24 hours. For now this is temporary change and may be reverted in future but no rush there. If you turning off your rigs, you can check how it is behaving on account graphical charts of your balance by clicking on button that is next to Actions button on RigList.

Thanks for that one, I'm in the UK where electricity is crazy high so have been using the sleep function you added to run mine overnight when I get a slightly better rate.

Much appreciated.

A

I'm guessing from the layout of the neptune cubes that you've removed the display and are running 6 cubes per controller ?

OT: Knowing KNC they were probably going to ship that way, but they found the display was cheaper than the cube and they could overclock the crap out of them with only 5 to deliver the bare minimum.

The motherboard looks like it's resting on top of some aluminum (?) pegs. Did you make those or buy them?

My cheap solution was to use a bolt and two nuts for each leg.

Use the holes in the motherboard that are for case mounting, one nut below to rest on, one on top to tighten.
