r9 290/390 give 29-30 mh/s while mining on Ubuntu. For a serious increase in performance, you have to use Ubuntu version no higher than 16.04 (with new Ubuntu kernels these cards have poor compatibility). You have to install driver version 17.40 and AMD SDK kit. Switching to Linux-like OS gives additional 10 mh/s (50%). There is a guide how to do it (in Russian): https://www.cryptoprofi.info/?p=3313. Ubuntu will be useful for mining on all old cards including R9 280, 290, 295 and 390.
Yes, I tested and it works with R9 290 and also R9 280x. Higher hashrate also gives higher power consumption...

I tried -cclock, but it didnt seem to have any effect on Radeon R9 290X. I also tried to write to /sys/class/drm/card0/device/pp_sclk_od, according to this

For my r9 280x is still the best driver [Guru3D]-radeon-crimson-15.12-with-dotnet45-win7-64bit
Hmm, it seems 390X can reach 400H/s though it requires some additional efforts, Polaris cards can get some speedup too.

I am holding mine. Have arround 500k and waiting for POS. As said before, coin is in an early stage, it takes time to develope things and I am sure new products will come..

OP updated, what we are working on:
- A secure Web wallet (didn't pick one yet so if you have any suggestion we are listening)
- Updating Creditpay to HD wallet
- Updating creditbit-Qt and creditbitd to 1.3.0.0 (fixing some bugs and major other updates)
- Got a guy to manage/work in social media accounts.
- Trying to get exchanges to add creditbit.
Have any suggestions? join our slack and lets discuss it.
When updating creditbit-Qt, is it OK just to execute update program and it will automatically update to version 1.3.0.0 ?
