Re: List of all Altcoin Faucets
by
Timelord2067
on 15/10/2013, 16:48:17 UTC
Since there is a list of all altcoins I decided that I might as well compile a list of all the altcoin faucets, if I am missing any feel free to let me know and I will add them to the list.

(Blah)

Please add the following:

SXC SexCoin
http://faucet.lavajumper.com/ 30SXC payout 10 Submissions per round

GLD GoldCoin
http://goldcoinfaucet.com/index.php 2GLD payout 25 Submissions per round

BTC BitCoin
http://www.landofbitcoin.com/?r=uRBP9Ozg23AER43p Multiple BitCoin sites - some facets require an email - you can 'hide' these - all sem to payout (most via CoinBox.me - very smooth)

http://pushbuttongetbitcoin.com/?action=submitAddressMicro Payout that accumulates to make a larger payout. (Takes roughly four weeks)  There are links to view this or that to get payouts too.

Re: [ANN] CryptogenicBullion (CB)! Chinese, Dutch, Turkish versions of the website!

Have started to see CGB move from balance to "stake" balance.

I had five transactions (all < 1.0 each and <1.0 total) from more than 30days ago, I got two "mining" payments this week (both <0.0x) , none of the coins moved across, but then after 34 days a 10.15 and a corresponding 0.09938 "mining" both jumped across to the "stake" balance.

Will be watching to see how the remainder of the coins go - just one question, is there a new block 'mined' for the 10.15 'stake' and would I be correct to assume unlike the 10, 5, 2.5, 1.25 payouts, this block netted the 0.09938 Huh

That was yesterday - today the whole balance is back to the "balance" with zero in the "stake" - is this right?

One last question, is the fractions only to six decimal places?

Thanks,

Holy Fuck Dude...Lighten up. One of the great things about sexcoin is our endearing sense of humor. You made a joke, so he made a joke ... But life is serious, life is difficult, so laugh while you work Wink

It's not his fault, his name is XOR.  So he can be serious, or he can be joking, but he can't do both at the same time.

I'm so XOR I can hardly pithsss....

how much CB would you need to hold to be considered as a stake holder?

like 10000? I'm pretty sure there aren't many new people that have that much CB. Even some of the early adopters don't have that much

Would 1% of 1% be considered a minor (non pun intended) stake holder? (that's 100 CGB BTW) - Just to put it into perspective 1% of 1% of all the BitCoins (some 12Milion) would be 1,200 BTC or some $300,000 - give or take)
How is 1% = 100 CGB? lol
Total projected supply for 2013 = 1 000 000
in which case 1% would be 10 000, i.e. a stake holder.

You've even quoted where I ask 1% of 1% yet you didn't read that.

I think he meant 1% of 1%

Btw, black CGB shirts will be in Wednesday so orders are being accepted now via my website.

Which is what I wrote - (twice no less) - Would any one care to answer my original question?

Sometimes when you make transactions your client will automatically create new addresses and split your funds between them. Why it does this I have no idea, maybe someone else can explain this.
This is why I recommend manually sending from a particular address, as one of your addresses may have a larger amount of funds held in it which you don't want disturbing, because from what I understand, stake will be reset to zero days if your wallet moves funds from it.

This is because an 'Input' amount of coins in the (or any) blockchain cannot be partially spent. Each incoming transaction in your wallet addresses is treated by the blockchain as a separate unit. You can send one (or more) out in total, and receive 'change ' if needed, in a separate address. If you wish to spend coins exactly matching some combination of your original inputs, the 'change' address is not required.

I see, thanks for explaining that Majormax

My thanks again to all who replied - that makes sense and could explain indirectly the six decimal places observation that I had about the transactions.

There is plenty of information and discussion about PoS : PPCoin is of course the currency with longest history in PoS..

CGB has good developers who are endeavouring to make the best decisions at an early stage of what is, after all, still experimental software.

I really am not qualified to pronounce on the technicals, but it seems to me that a network composed of a very large amount of 'dust' ie vast numbers of users each with low hash power, is the most secure for either PoW or PoS.

Transaction fees on 'dust' is going to kill any/all Alt/Digital coins.

I've been gathering dust from BTC BitCoin Faucets and went to send the dust I'd accumulated to an exchange only to find the dust didn't even cover the transaction fee.

If any coin is worth (say) $200 per coin then a $10.50 transaction (eg a short taxi ride - http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/radio4/r4report/rss.xml
) would end up nearly doubling when the transaction fee is added on.

@TagBond - The Dev Team at both GLD GoldCoin and SXC SexCoin might be interested in your RF products if your website is anything to go by. - I'll give them the heads up - after I get some sleep - it;s nearly dawn eh @JohnDec ?? Cool

Just catching up on my reading, are there any pools out there? - The one I was trying out went off line.

Also, came across this site http://www.lurkmore.com/wiki/Cryptocurrency_information_and_wallet_client_downloads which lists as many coin/wallet downloads as it can.

Thought I would stop by and share some good news with the CGB community:

New line of black CGB shirts will be in-stock in less than 1 week and the physical CGB bars made of .999 fine silver will be in-stock in 2-3 weeks (the security hologram stickers just came in)  Grin

I like the idea of a One Ounce bar of silver - I would have *really* loved to have seen a silver bar version of the splash screen image with notches taken out the side - Like a tangible cyber 'key' for the digital age.

how much CB would you need to hold to be considered as a stake holder?

The exchange won't have any fees to trade, following the chinese model. Just $15 to deposit and $25 to withdraw Fiat currency, nothing to deposit and withdraw crypto. We are going to add CNY to the exchange, via Alipay / Tenpay so that opens up the market in China for TAG - that should prove interesting..

Hi - I've verified my Mobile Phone (Gotta Love the Optus network for it's five min delay Shocked ) - still no email verification.  Was reading earlier about depositing min 10 TAG - can't seem to work out how to do that (I can see the 1 TAG that was put in earlier - many thanks) do I have to generate a TAG Wallet like how CoinEX.PW does on their exchange to then send the coins to?

Thanks,

edit: if the email just keeps hanging , I'll try another one tomorrow

Register at http://tagbond.com and post your ID number here, with an address to send 1 TAG.

In a couple of days time I will enable the referral system so that anytime you post your referral link (eg: http://tagbond.com/1 is mine, as my ID is 1), then you will receive 1 TAG for every person that signs up via that link automatically after email confirmation. This will be credited to your TagCash Web Wallet in our system, and when our TagCash Exchange Server is up and running later towards the end of the week, you can transfer out to your own TagCoin client.
(blah)

I went back to read the original post, however, it appears to have been changed to read "reserved"

I need to put that back up, I took it off because a couple of Chinese users, were abusing it and creating fake addresses (about 8,000 before I stopped it)....

It is valid but please read the text - it says if others signup through your referral link, you will get rewarded for each person that signs up (and is valid, therefore they have to SMS verify not just email verify).

But..I gave you 1 TAG anyway, into the tagbond wallet...:-)

Thanks Mate - still haven't received the email verification (but then again we're talking the Optus Network...)  Cheesy

Torzsy setup a stratum TAG pool too at: tag.cryptominer.net Smiley

I'm mining there with one of my rigs now Smiley

Create an account and point your worker at:

Code:
-o stratum+tcp://tag.cryptominer.net:3359 -u workername.1 -p x

This pool is on the right chain!
(and let's hope it stays there  Grin)

Am trying it out thanks. ---- Slightly off topic --- Your Maples Pool seems to be still off line...  Grin  Cool
