Yes simply is possible . but not all coins will spread . it is better to make a decision to sell or not . And growth, too, can be not soon

I would still wait, not sell. Although if you are still in the lock then you can sell. But I will continue to hold on until a better time

"Internet started globalization. U.S President is the leader of free world."

Very rumor rumor, the US and the free world are two big differences. It's even weird to hear. I thought that there were already no people who thought so

At the current state of the world's politics, I don't think we will achieve a harmonious living relationship with each other even in the next 50 or so years. Countries are still power-hungry albeit doing it discreetly, seeking power sources here and there and making sure their enemies won't get to their objectives before they do. Also, we certainly don't need a unified religion since it's just something you hold onto when you don't want to face your problems head on.

I don't know what would bitcoin's role will be in a one-world government: the new authorities can just create a simplified, one-currency that people can use without having to trade it into a local currency. Bitcoin wouldn't be able to cater all this world needs if ever we shifted into a one-world government (hint: we'll never reach utopia). If anything, the world will crumble in the next generations knowing how ego runs in the veins of world leaders right now.

A single new religion is necessary in the context of globalization. On a religious basis, very many conflicts between people

Bitcoin and Globalization
by
Timere
on 12/07/2018, 13:23:26 UTC
Globalization was told for a very long time. Probably, this will be a new stage in the development of our civilization. This is a new form of human interaction. Perhaps the whole world will be without defenders and borders, without taxes and barriers. Bitcoin will take in such a world a worthy place of the world currency. Developing new technologies will help create a more developed society where there are not very magazine and very poor. Regulation will occupy cars, they are not expensive for the corrupt. We need a new world, it is perhaps a new and unified religion, which will affect all of humanity ... no longer warms, humanity can be really civilized. What do you think all about it? Maybe Bitcoin is part of the globalization plan?

I see the value of btc lies in the belief is the key. There is no body that protects btc, the price fluctuates too large.
This is normal, bitcoin is still very young. In the future, the price of bitcoin will be much more stable, but it will not be soon

Re: Why we should not panic about the Bitcoin price.
by
Timere
on 02/07/2018, 07:50:10 UTC
I took one step back this weekend and I spend some time, thinking of the reasons why we should not panic about the drop in the Bitcoin price and this is what I came up with, :

1.  The Bitcoin demand is still very strong and a lot of Merchants are still accepting it as a payment option. < I see more shops in my local area that started to accept Bitcoin >
2.  Bitcoin ATM installations are on the increase. < Also in Africa >
3.  Institutional capital has not even entered the market yet.
4.  The Lightning Network has not even been fully implemented yet.
5.  We are much stronger than we were last year.
6.  Facebook has reversed their decision to ban Crypto currency advertisements.
7.  Governments are not banning ICOs, but rather regulating it.
8.  Most long-term investors are still optimistic about the future of Crypto currencies.
9.  The Fiat system and the world economy is still struggling, so it is not just Crypto currencies.
10. We still see companies pushing innovation, by introducing new Apps & Games that supports Bitcoin.

So, looking at the list above, why should we panic? If you can think of more reasons why we should not panic, please post them here and I will add them to the list.

Let's focus on the positive things and forget about the dropping price. < Most of that is manipulation >   Grin

As for me, now the market is declining only due to artificial pressure in the media. I think that someone wants to earn a lot on this. When the right people are stingy enough at low prices, the market will manifest itself as a spring

And I think very likely for the future, bitcoin will be at the best currency in the world, because it can not be falsified. hopefully.
There are many difficulties that bitcoin will have to overcome before bitcoin becomes the world's number one currency. These are high commissions, transaction speed, etc.

I'm not disappointed about bitcoin. If compared to the same time of 2017, it is already x2. Just people are too greedy.

Bitcoin repeatedly showed the whole world that he can restore his old price and beat new price records as low as he did not fall. I would even say that bitcoin is programmed to increase the price!

Re: Are ICOs gonna end someday ?
by

I think that it will not end, but it will change with new rules. As example there are now DAICO's and this kind of ICOs will be more popular in the future. Nowadays there are more regulations like KYC and other rules for investors.
New rules are inevitable, but one should not overdo with regulation. There are already minuses of regulation. For example, my friend refused to invest in a project that requires KYC

I have one question that really bug me sometimes, Are ICOs going to end or new ideas and projects will emerge along with ICOs. Many of us actually rely on bounty to earn other than investing. As long as there is ICO I believe there will be bounty. It will be a sad day for us if ICOs are declared officially dead.
I believe that generosity is the same advertising, and advertising will live forever will projects carry ico or not

I am not agree with this infograph saying that Bitcoin is only the number sixth in the circulation. First of all, it is on the different side of currency. It is decentralized and shouldn't be compared to other centralized currencies. AND, Bitcoin remains number one in terms of its price, circulation couldn't make a country rich so fast. Bitcoin can.

I think that bitcoin needs to be compared with traditional currencies because it pretends to replace traditional currencies

Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal?
by
Timere
on 30/06/2018, 10:40:42 UTC
I'm not referring to the price of Bitcoin (we all know it's going to be $250,000/coin by 2022), but the goal that it would be a legitimate alternative to inflationary government fiat currencies.  When the altcoin market is examined, it is inextricably linked to the price of Bitcoin.  Where Bitcoin goes, so does the rest of the cryptocurrencies.  There's even somewhat of a dismissive attitude toward other crytpos in some investment circles; strangely this was a similar sentiment held by those "respectable" investors when Bitcoin was in its infancy.

What do you think?  I'd love to hear from some crytpo veterans.

I think that the goal of bitcoin is not in its great price, but in that it is universally accepted with cheap and fast transactions. That they could go to the store and buy bread for bitcoin by paying directly to the seller with their smartphone without using a bank intermediary. At the same time paying a commission of $ 0.001-0.002 $.

Thats really great news for bitcoin but I don't think that is can easily goes to no.1 because it only has limited supply which going to be its disadvantage and also of its unstable price and volatility. But we all hope that bitcoin will surpass all of that and become no.1 in the future.

In fact, for a product, its limited quantity is good, but for currency it's bad. In history, it was already when the dollar was tied to gold and the amount was limited. You can read what this led to the economy. Prices for goods were constantly falling, production was closing, unemployment was growing ...

Re: How much electricity does bitcoin need?
by
Timere
on 30/06/2018, 10:19:42 UTC
Who owns the reliable information that the network bitcoin uses more than 80% of the countries separately electricity. Bitcoin also multiplied by several times the amount of energy consumed in the last year. Is this really true, who will say? So there are thoughts that bitcoin in a couple of years will be a threat to the energy situation on the planet?

One of the greatest questions ever. We consume too much energy for cryptocurrency. More and more people joining, buying miners or running pcs for staking.

I dont think we can measure the amount of energy that people have used and the fact that we are not making any significant improvements in green energy is also a sad fact.

On the one hand, it's very bad that we use so much energy. But I think that, on the other hand, it pushes humanity towards the invention of new technologies for obtaining energy.

I think in the next bubble Bitcoin is going to reach into the top 3 currencies worldwide. It being at the number 6 position just goes on to show that Bitcoin is unstoppable. Also many other crypto currencies are entering the top currencies club which is good for the crypto markets. Bitcoin will become unstoppable once it reaches in the top 3.

But we also need to understand that 15-20 billion US dollars will be enough to bring down the rate of bitcoin to $ 100 for 1 bitcoin
