Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform

Any comparison of what it would cost to get some kind of LISK token now when measured against the ICO price?

I have heard figures of 600 times being quoted, any truth in that?

Re: ETH Soon Back To Sub 1 Dollar

Its pointless to make predictions like this, especially since the price is also somewhat tied to Bitcoin.

For the short term, I think its a good place for a short. I had expected ETH to rebound significantly but it has failed to do so far.

Its funny to compare NEM and NXT now. Once upon a time the prevailing wisdom was that NEM was a poor man's NXT.

Anyone has got the numbers of how much Bitcoins was donated by verifiable investors? I mean to say not counting the donation from the hidden investors.

Already made some money thanks to Waves dropping NXT so hard Cheesy  Thanks Waves, off to a good start!

You could've made a lot of money simply by shorting Ethereum a few days back. Btw, I doubt Wave has anything to do with NXT, other than the shady developer who jumped ship long time back.

Bubble or not, it is now widely known and taken seriously in the crypto community, just see the number of Ethereum topics on the first page of this board. This is the sort of recognition which will help it in the long run.

It is here to stay. Even if it retraces 70% that is still a huge market.

Re: Ethereum pump and dump?
by

Gonna wait for market to stabalize then buy. Lost a lot of money in pump and dumps recently

Whats the point of buying when it is stable? We are buying to hopefully sell it later for more. Currently I am out of Ethereum waiting for a big pullback before considering it again.

The Ethereum is in the correction phase at the moment. The price is below $10 now. I hope it is not dumped.

I wont be surprised if it goes down to 0.0018 BTC or less.

Re: Have over 0.3BTC on Cryptsy? DO NOT TRY TO WITHDRAW!
by

I tried BTC withdrawal a few days back and it worked, but the amount is much less as they have suddenly imposed the limits without asking.

Its painful with the withdrawal fees, and this is the last I am using Cryptsy.

What exactly is the withdrawal issue? Is it only some stuck, or no one is getting any money out? If it is the former then there might be still hope that it is due to incompetence.

All the non winning teams will be working for free for the first 2 weeks? You won't get more than 1 team with this rule. In addition is the 1.25 BTC dependent on them fulfilling the conditions, or is it paid upfront? If it is the former you won't get even 1 team.

In your head you're probably thinking it is a great deal and everyone will be lining up to join but you will be hard pressed to find anyone.

well of course NON-winning teams will be working for free because well THEY DID NOT WIN did they i really dot know what motivates people here i used to think it was bitcoins but obviously its not, we're offering 2.5 times the current rate and all we're asking is for people to understand our product believe in our product and use a little bit of initiative to market our product

OK guys i want to make this perfectly clear im a mutual fund manger i dont have an extensive website, blogging and development background im getting frustrated as 99 percent of people here are simply after something for nothing i have gone through many signature campaigns ad looked at the quality delivered and its disgusting

we're paying up-to 2.5 times the current rate because we simply want the best, if you dont believe in our products if your not prepared to market and stick your neck out for our company and our products we dont want you to be apart of our team product

it's very simple if we dont get the results we desire and dont have persons wanting to actively promote our company and products we'll simplely go down another avenue to advertise our company its a hell of a lot easier for us to hire bloggers and affiliate markets to target our niche markets

again we're four professional traders that professionally manage millions of dollars worth of investment funds and we're providing a product thats completely and 100 percent unique to bitcoin

we're offering 2.5 times the current advertising and marketing rate and yet we're still attracting criticism its very simple if you want to be apart of this create a team come up with a marketing strategy and give it your best shot

You're free to think you're making a good offer but you're not going to get anybody. Continue with your efforts though.

Everyone will be more than happy to join other campaigns with an assured earning rather than a small chance to get 2.5 times but mostly get nothing.

Anyone which crashed 25-30% or more. MAID was the obvious choice yesterday. Wait till you see one tanking particularly badly and then get some of it and sell at the rebound.

It isn't going anywhere. Time was when it used to shuttle between 4000 and 8000 and there was easy money to make. I think the penny has dropped for some of the big holders and they are slowly exiting.

I have a hunch that this is a false dawn. We have been in a bear market for so long and everyone has been waiting and hoping for riches that we are seeing what we want to see.

I think we are still months away from a real rally.

Re: What is better when advertising in bitcointalk?
by
TinEye
on 30/09/2015, 13:07:00 UTC
What do you think is better while advertising?
1) Making a fixed campaign with 0.2 per month for 5 best quality posters, min requirement only 20 posts , so something like 0.01 per post.
2) Advertising in bitcointalk with banner ads, with only one slot for 1btc per month.
IMO signatures are better because you get better visibility.

You are not getting a banner ad slot for 1 BTC a month. Try 10 BTC and you may have a chance.

Currently the ad slots go for over 2 BTC and was mnore than 3 BTC for the last round, and they are for 7-12 days. So in a month it will cost you over 10 BTC and for that budget you will have a huge signature campaign. If you have only 1 BTC a month to spend then you dont have any choice other than a signature campaign.

Out of interest, what is your site?

EDIT: I see that youre doing this out of academic interest. But your numbers are still wrong.
Well after having a look at the ad thread even bids like
1 @ 0.50

this are coming up, anyway I don't think you have to fill all the spots for your ad.
And which wrong numbers are you talking about again?

You are taking starting bids and basing your thread on that? That makes no sense and I wonder if you are only trying to increase paid posts.

I will humor you anyway, check out the last 2 rounds winning bids
