I'm not quite sure what you mean with the first part. The source code we got wasn't from one of the mainstream coins, it was given to us as a starting base. It'll continue to be built upon, at least. Point 2: I guess you could mine it other ways, however it wasn't made to be profitable at all, it was made to show appreciation
EDIT: Apparently the mods of the subreddit took it down. I'll look a bit further and perhaps into creating its own subreddit.

- Create a block-explorer (any offers here via PM are appreciated).
- Design a Reddit bot to make tipping easier on reddit.
- ASAP: Give away the TPC from the testing mine to initiate the currency! (that'll be on reddit)
