Re: My Bitcoin and crypto currency experience.

My experience:
There's a high level of security. Crypto currencies are not always affected by inflation in the market and very volatile in nature. The convenience of trading at anytime and the easy made of crypto currency liquidity across multiple exchanges. There's equality and fairness on either sides of the market. It's always a win-win situation whether you're buying or selling if you know what you're doing. And there's also a high level of transaction freedom.
BTC is deflationary, and it is secure because of the high hash rate, consensus mechanism, decentralization etc. But with self-custody it is only as safe as you make it, if you are not up for the responsibilty of self-custody, it is better to stay with paper money, it is even worse for bitcoiners who don't practice self-custody, that is bitcoiners who use custodial wallets and services; they bear more risks that the average user of fiat centralized services.

You are alluding to crypto and not BTC, so you better be careful trading shitcoins in centralized exchanges, it may be convenient until it is not. BTC is a 'community network' so we could talk about 'equality' and 'fairness' you mentioned, but again you generalized it as crypto, maybe you should know that many crypto's are centralized and controlled by a small group, like ETH that just moved to POS that allows for centralization and the possibility of powerful staking pools and censoring of transactions, in BTC POW it is impossible for a miner to control 51% of the hash rate.

It can only be a win-win for a crypto user if they use the right coin (BTC) and have the knowledge they need about it.

Thanks to the beautiful benefits of learning... and thank you so much for taking out time to give me clearer understanding. Thanks for throwing more light on that and also for helping me expand my horizons. I really appreciate.

To.Nick bro i don't know how but your account is registered on 20 October 2022 and you are on the 23rd sharing your experience for Bitcoin seems weird. May that it can be your Atl account or maybe you are new on BTT.
There are many possibilities why are you sharing this post.

I shared this post because I still have a lot to learn, I can't settle down with what I think I know when there's so much knowledge out here. Merely reading the comments alone is very educative. I don't know why you had to make it sound like I'm not worthy to be here, bro we're all students still learning... Remember "a closed mouth is a closed destiny". I ask questions when I'm lost, I so much love corrections because lessons are blessings in disguise and the best part of it all is that I get to learn the lessons here for FREE. Y'all are so amazing. Thanks and Good luck.

Bad habits experiences and homemade solutions.
by

Hello guys.
Without wasting time I'll just go down to business. When the bad habit come to mind what's that or what are those mental images that comes to play in your mind? As for me the mental image that comes to mind is a cage. Yes, bad habits are like mental cages that limits us in some certain ways. Take me for instance, I smoked a lot and it began to interfere with my personal and professional lifes. I found it difficult to have a good relationship with anyone, my boss at work, my family and friends started losing trust in me. I was gradually becoming a certified bum. But I'm thankful realization stepped in, and I had to go back to my drawing board to fix my life.

I just recently stopped smoking, but the cravings and the hunger to go back to smoking is just too much to bear. Although I came up with an idea that's kinda working, but it's not actually helping with the cravings and that's a battle I'm still trying to win. I started locking myself up in my room and I don't go out for nothing.. if it's not work-related then I'm not interested in going out. I also had to break contact with some certain friends and whatnot. It hasn't been easy these past few months, but I believe if I can finally overcome this hunger to smoke then there's nothing I cannot do.
Your life's blueprint is in your hands, work with it.

Please feel free to say your mind.

I am a woman who works selling clothes and has a side job as a bounty hunter. From morning to night, I was in the clothing store and the evening I was on the internet to make posts and content articles to get a stake in the bounty program.

to the end, I fell ill and was hospitalized. the doctor said that I was too tired at work so suggested to take a break in a few weeks....

for those of you who are still active in making this forum post, take care of your health so you don't get sick, give your body enough rest and do not forget to be diligent in drinking water so as not to dehydrate and lack the body's ions. If necessary, take vitamins that increase stamina so that you stay healthy while hunting for the stake.

Thanks for the advice. I just recently stopped smoking, but the cravings and the hunger to go back to smoking is just too much to bear. Although I came up with an idea that's kinda working, but it's not actually helping with the cravings and that's a battle I'm still trying to win. I also had to break contact with some certain friends and whatnot. It hasn't been easy these past few months, but I believe if I can overcome this one then there's nothing I cannot do. "Wisdom is profitable to direct", take care of your health because it's your and it's wealth. Thank you.

Bitcoin and crypto currency in general is the new era and I would advise everyone to get involved because it is here to stay. This is the time where basically everything around us has some sorta tech and as life has it we're all evolving by the day. Crypto is the new world order, yes, but it has it bad sides as well. As a novice back then I had my fair share of disappointments. And these disappointments were caused by my fear, fear of missing out, doubts. I met my emotions get the best of me. Don't do that. Don't let your emotions get the best of you.
You didn't state how your emotions led to your loss of opportunity or disappointment but you are very correct, it is not ideal to let your emotions becloud your decision in business. The motivation to invest or engage in any business dealing should be verified facts and not mere assumptions or emotions.

You are very correct, bitcoin (I am not sure of others) is the future of legal tender, and denying this fact is living in self-denial.

Crypto is the sure way to build a successful business or company and like I said it's the new world order. And with that said, this has been what my experiences with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency has been like so far.
You seem to be overexaggerating the impact of bitcoin on businesses. It's true that bitcoin can help businesses to have access to cheap and reliable financial transactions. It also helps businesses to overcome some impediments that are associated with conventional banks. But assuming that it is the sure way of building a successful business is going too far. There are other main or basic skills or resources that every business needs to survive and make a profit. Bitcoin might not be impactful if you dint have the basic skills to run a business.

Bitcoin has always proved to be a hedge against inflation but in recent times it has been affected by inflation and some other economic indices. Therefore it would also be slightly out of place to assume that it is not affected by some economic factors. Bitcoin is accepted in most countries of the world and it can be easily converted to fiat. It has also proved to be a good investment especially if you are HODLING. This is because it has proved over the years that after the bearish market, the bullish era would always come.

Note: It would be appropriate if you focus on discussing bitcoin in this section. You can always talk about other cryptocurrencies in the altcoin section of the forum.

Thanks for clarifying that for me. Bitcoin has its ups and downs, and lately I've been lucky enough to witness the ups and the favourable aspect of bitcoin, all to the point of letting my biased judgement get the best of me and I'm sorry about that mistake.

And speaking of letting my emotions get the best me? I allowed the fear of missing out on great deals and profits when there's a high rise in the market overcome me and also the uncertainty and doubt that constantly plays in my head that what if Bitcoin crashes after a huge investment. These were the feelings and emotions that had the upper hand in my early days. Thanks.

Hello there. Thanks for dropping this question. Truth be told, you and I are fully aware of the corruption level of every sector of the government. So with that idealogy being properly considered, consciousness should be the next thought and pattern of lifestyle... I mean it's "dog-eat-dog" with the level we are in now.
My first area of concentration will be on the legislative power house. Humility, loyalty and trust are my weapons, and with my influence on that sector certain laws will be made to put restrictions on unwanted bodies wanting to cause of issues and problems. Thank you.

No doubt mancity has everything under control. With Erling Haaland on board. He has scored 15 times after 13 match days in the season 2022/2023. I pray he doesn't fall out or get any injuries because I'm highly rooting for him as the best player in Mancity (the winning team).

True! But have you seen the pressure Liverpool has coming, it's about to be a real soccer thug of war.

The teams listed above to might not qualify when there's a team like Belgium, Brazil and Norway, especially with Erling Haaland on board. He has scored 15 times after 13 match days in the season 2022/2023. Germany should be at the mercy of Norway.

Exactly! With king j alongside Erling Haaland, Norway  will be definitely unstoppable. Germany has no chance.

Hello guys, I'm a newbie. I'll love to know if it can be possible to rewrite the program of a Bitcoin wallet application software that has bitcoins in it?
Thanks

Please explain. What do you mean by "rewrite the program"?

If you have some programming skill, then it is possible to "rewrite" Bitcoin Core source code and make a clone of the program that can do everything that original program does and more. But there is no real benefit to doing so, because nobody will care about your clone. What exactly do you want to achieve?

By the way, bitcoins are not in the program but on the blockchain.

Thank you stalker22, that's the answer I needed. I thought the cloning could have an effect the Bitcoins. There's no telling what hackers and scammers are capable of.

Re: El Salvador claim bitcoin attracts tourists right or wrong?
by

on 20/10/2022, 23:09:05 UTC
El Salvador has been blooming in the aspect of tourism, ever since the Bitcoin law came into place, all thanks to President Nayib Bukele. Although the economic stability of El Salvador is still yet to be properly handled.
On the 13th of October live on CNBC news, a 37-year-old resident and a development engineer working in the capital city of San Salvador, Edgardo Acevedo has found the nationwide crypto experiment to be a whole bunch of disappointment and disaster because many  big businesses and locals are still finding it hard to go with the flow. Although crime and violence has gone down the notch beautifully, but economically there's nothing to actually show for it due to the low adaption rate of most Salvadorians to this new system.
In summary, yes El Salvador has found a cheat in tourists attraction, but will that be able to keep that great name EL SALVADOR still standing in the long run.
