lots of people thought Bitcoin was scam in the early time too. Even today, some people still think so. Same to Ethereum. People's hearts go with people's treasures and people's intelligence goes with people's hearts.

If you were not using the newest client 2.4.0 when you created your seed, you should upgrade to 2.4.0 and create a brand new seed with 2.4.0 and transafer your coins to the new seed. It is mandatory to do so. The new GUI client can help you to do this transition. The step by step guide is here -

If you used android wallet before,  you have to do this transition on the GUI desktop wallet. To my best knowledge, you can't do the transition on the Android wallet.

Now that I've got all the information for the transition (I do not want to make any mistakes, because it's a big sum for me), I wonder if there is a time limit until the transition has been done? I could not find any information about this. I mean with time limit, if I do not conduct a transition by day x, then my coins will be lost.

I believe that it is mandatory and everyone should do it as soon as possible.

This is the Android Wallet, not the PC wallet. Or do you mean that I have to process my Andoid seed with the migration service of the new PC wallet as well?

Yes, you have to do the transition with the PC wallet if you can't do it with the android wallet.

I am presently running Iota Light Wallet 2.3.0 - IRI 1.3.0 and would like to upgrade.
To clarify, do I now run v2.4.0 to update.

Yes, you need to upgrade to v2.4.0. Just follow the installing guide.

For instance, a sensor can run IOTA. The outside real time data collected by a sensor such as weather or vehicle data can be stored in Tangle which is IOTA's distributed ledger and transferred through IOTA to other systems like Ethereum and Rootstock. All you need is an interoperable bridge between systems. Basically it means that IOTA can feed immutable data to Ethereum and Rootstock in the place where Ethereum and Rootstock are not able to operate and collect data.

No. Snapshotting is like blockchain pruning in Bitcoin. It is a way to reduce database (the distributed ledger) size. In the future, the snapshotting will be locally and automatically done and some nodes with capacity can still store the whole history of transactions.
